Raise The Bar - Goal Tracker for Android
Liking it, but needs some tweaks. Most important, there seems to be no way to edit entered numbers. All there is for goal bars is an up arrow to increase the number, which in itself is a pain if playing catch up or having to input several iterations (there should be a way to also directly enter a number) If while you are tapping the arrow over and over and you accidentally click it one too many times, there is no way to roll back...
This is an especially helpful app for artists and writers who are looking for a way to visualize their progress on long, multi-part projects that can span weeks or even months. Seeing how far I've gotten already really helps me stay motivated. One feature I'd like to see is creating nesting checklists. For example, if you were making a comic book, creating sub-lists for each page for outlining, sketching, inking, etc. under a Chapter List would be extremely helpful. Another feature I'd appreciate is being able to clone lists. It's a little tiring to have to recreate near-identical lists for each new chapter to-do's. Overall it's a great app that I look forward to using quite a bit in the future.
Bars need a minus button, or a manual set button. If it gets this feature I will probably subscribe to pro! It's simple and just what I need, and I'm surprised that so many productivity apps don't have progress bars.
Worked great and all of the sudden doesn't let me log in with my account. Really annoyed especially because I paid for it.
need 1 button easy reset of all stats including level to zero. points rewarded for easy and hard tasks need to be flipped. you actually get more points for easy tasks which is incorrect in my opinion
Why is the goal limit restricted to 5 digits? My goal is a hundred thousand, app only allows ten thousand... why on Earth?
Still no widgets /:
Fun little app with a promising future (what I wrote in 2013) Now (2017), this app isn't good. The simplicity has been removed and it now costs more. Also, I had an issue with it forgetting repeats. Checked the bugs guide and it said 'this has always been buggy' and to fix it the devs recommend leaving the app run in the background. Meh.
Loved this app, but it's a little buggy. Leveled up today and suddenly noticed I lost the level. No idea why. Also it would be nice if % would update continuously while working on a time-based goal with a timer. Currently it only updates when I stop and start again.
I have tried almost all the same apps of tracking goals and routines.. This is the best for all ???? I really love all functions of this app. I really appreciate all the efforts of the app's programer. It really help me so much in almost every things in my life. I can call it the life app With all my regards ❤️????
App is great but will not allow me to update a goal once I initially approve it. When I attempt to go back and add an additonal task, it will not allow the addition. Can you fix and I will re-review. I'd like to be able to add as new tasks come up.
I used to love this app. I re-downloaded it on my phone and I was using it just fine, but last night I was adding a new goal and it crashed and will not reopen. Very upset because this app was great.
Why is it no longer intuitive? Such a shame.. used to be so simple. A good thing ruined. Going to have to Try a new app... sorry guys.
Great app. I use this app almost everyday to track my progress toward my goals. There have been a few bugs, but customer service is prompt.
Basically a nice app, but it still crashes. Also, since the update I don't like the interface as much. But worst of all: ONLY TWO REPEATABLE GOALS. That's definitely not enough and makes the app pretty useless
Thanks to all the bug fixes, this app is now a lot more functional again. If the Overall Experience bar can be edited, and the level-up sound is brought back, I'll give a full 5 stars.
After I upgraded to pro, the app is crashing!! Poor performance. Need a refund!! My mail is still open.. Why no response?
This is a great app but does not have goal reset on a daily basis for free. It used to but it changed. I'm off to find an app with daily repeatable goals
All the useful features i needed in one app. I would gladly pay for the pro version but google play refuses to accept my payment.
They have updated it and the random pattern button is gone. It links up to an ad telling me to pay for options that doesn't include the pattern. I'm unhappy.
I amca member of the previous app..just downloaded the new one and the widget to do list is gone. Basically useless app now...
I like it, but what happened to the widget? I have the paid version and it seemed to go away......
Fine but. Cannot choose 7 days of repeating cause there's no 7th day on the screen. And no widget. Inform me please by answering here about adding the 7th day. Thanks.
2017 May 20: Much better!! ???? Would love a single layer bar nesting (bar under bar) and a simpler-to-navigate UI!
Love the app and the tech support is awesome. Thank you!
Pretty good I might adapt it for my own needs
Great app but are the developers still around?
Great app
Crashes after creating one bar
The new update is not working Error: Unfortunately,Raise the bar has stopped. I loved this app ???? but not the new version ????
It crashes after creating one bar and loses data
Exactly what I needed to track literally everything
Downloaded this last night as part of my plan to improve myself. I liked the interface and so far things seemed to be working, so I subscribed. The app tells me I need pro to add more repeatable tasks, despite having paid for it. As well, when I try to add to the repeatable task I do have, it deletes my progress every time I open and close the app. Waste of money.
Wonderful app, one of my very favorites. I love the beautiful & customizable visual representation of my goals and things I track. I like the leveling up option too. But the one thing this app DESPERATELY needs is some sort of backup & restore. Whether that be manually through an exportable and importable file, or by an account system that auto syncs with a server (that would be best!). It just really sucks to lose everything moving to a new device. Add this feature to the pro version and I will buy it in a heartbeat.
I already had paid for the prior version, and now I have to save my data to a cloud account and subscribe? Even if you "grandfather" me in for free, why must this app be redesigned in a greedium subscription format? It's unnecessary.
I'm so thankful for this app! I wanted to have an app where I can manage my goals but in a fun way. Something that said: "hey! have you completed your daily goals" or "don't forget" about so and so instead of just a simple daily reminder. I absolutely love how nice it looks and the ability to "level up". Kudos to the creators for making it feel more user friendly and less like a boring to-do list. Haven't had any issues so far...
I really like this app. There's only one thing that would help me that I haven't found so far. As an Independent AVON Sales Rep, my selling cycles are for two weeks, starting on Wednesdays. The app's weekly goals only start on Monday. Every two weeks I have to start a new "Deadline" goal which keeps me from comparing the selling cycles easily. Otherwise, this app is great!
- Not possible to enter -ve numbers. Eg: I am tracking a goal of making $1000 a month in profits. On day 1, I made $50 which i entered. On day 2 however, i made a loss of $100. I cant enter -100 as amount as - (minus) sign doesnt work on the numberpad. I hope you rectify this in the next update. Otherwise good app.
I like the app but it's a little confusing. Not sure how to view task in monthly all as one instead of by category and I wish I was able to set start times and end times to indicate goal failure or success as well as repeating daily weekly or monthly

I like this app, but i liked it a lot more before the update. It was a lot easier to use and you could do stuff that you can't do now, like resetting your overall experience. I kinda have ocd and i find myself restarting things. I would've given it 5 stars, but that is a pain for me. Is there a way I can totally restart everything, but keep what I paid for?
