Doesn't connect to server which defeats the purpose. I called CSR first time horrible experience. Manager never called back. Called second time and CSR very nice but couldn't get it to work. Emailed support and they refused to replace the product which tells me they have little faith in their product Get something else do not waste your money

GARBAGE!!! Wasted over an hour on their worthless directions. Good luck connecting a network. On to nest I guess because this is trash. And the website is an even bigger joke. Stay far far away from this product. Add network using wps. But go to website to register.... Which you can't do. What a joke. Worst product ever.

Radius does not work...defeats the purpose of buying the thermostat. This basically leaves me with a plain old programmable. Geofencing works perfectly on my wife's iPhone, though. They need to update this app!

Smart thermostat, Dumb app. Radious does not work anymore as I need to manually turn off and on the Away feature. Has potential though. Hopefully the devs don't give up.

Was working fine for about a year. As of late, my settings are reverting or it puts itself in away mode. Starting to regret this purchase.

This product blows, the device doesn't work with non apple phones and always keeps disconnecting from wifi. The batteries die every couple days, and I regret installation even though it was free

The transmitter in the thermostat finds some of my neighbors networks but of course not mine. Interface on the app and site is unpolished. Thermostat felt very cheap. The small LCD screen and strange layout within caused me to rip it out after about 45 seconds.

Keeps going offline. Close to router as well. Seems if the heat is on for example. Cant contact unit. Offline whenever it feels like it.

Its good! Not like a building management system or anything.. But good for a signal thermostat house. Could use a few more options in the menus. So far so good! Price is great!

Awesome automatic scheduling via smart phone app

Keep trying to get it to work. Thermostat says it's connected, and to follow the app, but it keeps saying it can't connect to the servers. Wouldn't be a big deal, except the thermostat says the heat pump is on, but it's not. This is not good in the winter!

10/19 Don't Bother... Doesn't work at all now... apparently for anyone! Has great capabilities...10/14.. 3 stars to 2 for failure in troubleshooting App failure and failed CSR'S, if it only actually worked! Phone connects about once an hour even though set for 5 min. So cant use lock out functions!!

Not sure if its the app or the thermostat. Pain in the neck getting it to connect. Once I did, the app says it not connected so I cant do anything with it. I cant even get the heater to turn on manually now. Good thing I don't live in Alaska

Thermostat keep go offline since the last update. And very often when using the dial on the thermostat, it just shut off that i have to pull it out and reset it. So many problems on hardware and software. When will this problem be fixed? Will this going to be fixed? Any response?

Issues with the thermostat but none with the app. The app has help me track how erratic the thermostat room temperature is. Sometimes the thermostat will lose calibration and spike upwards to 4-5 degs over a 5 minute period. In summer the AC will then run for 4-5 hrs straight and you may come home to 67 deg house. In winter same thing, you may wake up to a 67 deg house.

Please for the love if God and humanity, the smart android enabled device that looks great and works as such, but has dreaded programing in 15min interval sliders is beyond frustrating. Just do user time entry boxes with check marks for days M-F or individually. So check box turns day on, and below 8 boxes Time & Temp. Please no funky sliders.

Recently lost ability to view history usage. It just shows loading forever. Also would be great if there was a copy/paste option for scheduling.

Easy to install. Working perfect. Operating thru Hotspot. Controlling millivolt gas heater without any issues. Only lesson learned is to set the hotspot sleep mode to "Never". Going to buy a second GEO to control gas fireplace logs.

After update I can only control thermostat while inside my house....defeats the entire reason for this app!!!! Please fix ASAP!

Controls reset or change on their own. Would be better if we could independently control the fan settings in the schedule.

Instructions don't match the actual app. It says that I can share thermostat with family but there is no icon or menu to actually use to share.

Worked great until the geo fence stopped working on wife's phone. No response from support

Batteries died and was connected to WiFi. Put new batteries in and can't connect to my phone's wifi.

Like any other wirerless devices you need to work the bugs out that may be in your network. I have two diffetent therm. at two diffetent locations and one is 1100 miles away and is on battery. After a little learning I now have 99 % confidence in both units. What helped me the most was assigning both of permanent IP addresses, and making some minor security changes in the modem. The battery one I get 6 to 9 months out of the battery just make sure you have the battery on optimize. Optimize will apply your changes in the next 1 hr. Using your app will not consume your battery because it will only apply what you do on your app ind the next

App frequently drops the thermostats off your network. No obvious way to uninstall only 1 thermostat on the app. So if you have two and one is a problem, start all over with both. Original connecting of tstat and local network designed to be a pita. U cant just tell it your network info and press go.

App wouldn't let me setup thermostat, had to use an iPhone to do it (worked right away). Scheduling is a mess. Hasn't shown any usage in the metering portion. Now it shows thermostat not reachable and I can't even find it on the site, Android, or iPhone (though that last part seems to be a problem with the thermostat itself not the app)

Can't even use with my mobile phone. I have a Nexus 6P and the app will not go to the third step to select my home wifi network. Tried my wifes Nexus 5 and it did get to this step once.....but the thermostat could fully connect to the network. Tried to go through the network setup 4 more times and I cannot get to the screen to select my wifi network.

Take up to 15 minutes to change temperature or turn it on/off!!!Piece of s**t!!

This app sucks

Newest update will not allow me to view my usage. Screen acts like it will load and never does. Was working before most recent update. It was great to see the usage which was why I bought the product to begin with. Hope this gets fixed soon.

Updated review (3/24/17): After the latest update, the app works great for me. The widgets though are still messed up. They show temperatures and settings, but only seem to update if I go into the main app and back out. So that kind of makes the widgets still pointless. Original review: My widgets that show the temperature on my two thermostats now show "OFFLINE" after unlocking my phone with your latest update. I have to open the App and then the widgets refresh and show the temp... But once the screen turns off, they switch back to saying "OFFLINE". Now a key useful feature has been broken.

This would be a great app IF it actually contacted the thermostat when you change the settings instead of an hour later. It needs a serious upgrade.

It is working great for me. I like the feature that allows you to tap a button on the app that turns on an away setting that sets Temp to a low setting. then when almost home turn the feature off and when you get home the temp will be at the program temp
