The StreetWise App is an easy way to purchase the weekly magazine and empower your favorite StreetWise vendor on their road to gainful employment and financial stability. The App will connect you to our easy to use PayPal account, so that paying for your paper is a snap -- there is no need to carry cash around anymore! In addition to using this app to pay for the magazine, it helps you connect to much more at StreetWise, Inc. You can stay on top of current StreetWise events, hear about the successes from our wide array of programs, and join us in our strides to alleviate poverty.

StreetWise has 3 distinct programs to help participants achieve personal stability. 1. The Magazine Vendor Program (MVP), which provides individuals with barriers to employment a chance to become entrepreneurs by selling our socially-conscious and entertaining magazine. The Vendors purchase the magazine for $.90 and then sell it for $2, putting $1.10 directly into their pocket. 2. The Transitional Jobs Program (TJP) which provides classroom training to help participants prepare for the traditional workforce. TJP also provides job placement and retention services. 3. The Supportive Services Program to empower individuals and oppressed groups through a wide array of social services including: case management, housing referral, record expunging, financial literacy, public benefits, and many more.
