Proyecto de adaptación visual del Hospital Universitario del Sureste, para mejorar la comunicación de los profesionales sanitarios con niños con Trastornos del Espectro Autista, mediante láminas de pictogramas diseñadas por la asociación SURESTEA, con los pictogramas de ARASAAC, para explicar sencillamente las técnicas hospitalarias a las que se van a enfrentar los pacientes pediátricos con esos transtornos.

Muchos pacientes con autismo tienen dificultades con el lenguaje verbal, pero no con el lenguaje visual, y por eso presentar la información de esta manera, con pictogramas y fotografías, les permite entender fácilmente el desarrollo de las distintas técnicas médicas y de enfermería del Hospital.

Las láminas también poseen fotografías de las técnicas hospitalarias, para que los pacientes puedan anticipar (tanto en casa como en el hospital) qué se les va a hacer, y disminuir la ansiedad con la que se enfrenten a la asistencia hospitalaria.

Esta aplicación utiliza pictogramas de ARASAAC y SURESTEA, distribuidos con licencia CC BY NC SA, y por tanto se distribuye con la misma licencia.
