Ouroboros

Was my main shitposting tool for quite a while, now it's Overchan because I've got used to it. However, it remains a great app and I'll be looking forward to its development.

Really nice so far, however my only major gripe with it is the UI, which feels like it's just a bit too boated with much more distance between things than necessary and ends up wasting a lot of space and would benefit greatly from an optional, more compact layout

App works great most of the time. Few issues, images don't load very fast and the reply function just doesn't work anymore. I cannot post from Ouroboros, I always have to open the web browser which is a huge annoyance and keeps me from posting much of the time. Other than that. Most videos work good and pretty much all videos load. If you charged for this app and worked to make it perfect, I would pay. Best 8chan browsing app out there right now.

First it crashes, then it puts you in an endless captcha loop, now it doesn't let you see images ( on a f***ing IMAGE board). If I have to view each thread in an external browser, what is the point of the app? Just came back to edit my review months after still in endless captcha loop. 2 stars was too generous I guess.

With recent updates, images sometimes disappear after loading in gallery view. Also, more rarely, I'm seeing some strange artifacting in images after loading, mostly gifs but once or twice with still images. Webm and mp4 videos also still aren't working. A great app, but not being able to see images on an imageboard is a bit of a drag.

It's fine for reading and looking at images (some times webms don't work) but you can't post any thing! The captcha doesn't work!

Would be great if those worked

Worked great for a week and then every time I try to post the data will not send, effectively eliminating the reply function, which is a very big issue considering I'd like to be able to post.

Worked great, but I'm suddenly no longer able to post from within the app - it's effectively read-only at this point.

Good program, but compared to Overchan, there aren't many settings or features.

Great app, have been using it for months. Only thing missing is the ability to post with board-specific modifications, like when the board has flairs you can add to your post. Would be cool if you could do that in the app too, but probably not possible lol. Keep up the good work!

Webms and mp4's have stopped working. When tapped on, a screen pops up saying "Warning: Could not play video." (Edit: yes the problem still occurs, Im no expert but I believe it might be a file size issue. This is still my favorite mobile app for 8chan though, thanks for making it!) (edit oct 20: yes the problem still occurs along with some images in Deepzoom showing only for a moment and then the app goes to a blank screen, this is happening more and more now)

Good to see the image bug fixed, also you should include an option to save entire threads (html folder) Just a thought, would be a handy feature

Very good client, used it for a long time now. Recently I haven't been able to post, just get stuck in a loop of filling out DNSBL captcha, but once that is fixed it's a wonderful app. Would also love the ability to display and view dice rolls.

Doesn't seem to load any images, works fine otherwise. Loading in an external browser doesn't work either. Images load just fine when I load the page itself in chrome though. EDIT: Thanks for getting back, I'll update you on how the new one works. I've been using it problem free until recently.

Everything's nice and works great, but it doesnt support USB OTG uploads. I hope this will be fixed in the future updates.

I've been using this app for a while now, and it's worked well. But very recently images stopped loading in all threads. I'd say this occurred in the past 3 days or so. I've fiddled with the settings to no avail, so unfortunately I've gone back to viewing in my phone's browser. You also cannot reply to threads in-app. Either I am doing it incorrectly or its an app issue, but whenever I want to reply to a thread I have to open it in browser and reply that way. It's kind of annoying.

Doesn't load the majority of images, on a client for an image-board. But this very recent issue. Once this is fixed I will change my rating to 5 stars, because it once was a great app.

Sometime i cant connect even when i have stable internet connection but when i open in browser its normal, sometime it force closed. Thank you sir

Sorry, don't know how to make a proper reply on here so I'm editing this. There's a border that shows around the image, and the color varies. Sometimes it's blue, sometimes it's brown, etc. This started happening within the last two updates, yeah. I don't really know if I'm running a custom rom or not. All I know is that I'm running this on my phone. Sorry for not being able to be as clear as you'd probably like.

Another update. I did find a workaround to the SD card issue. For some reason, I can access the SD if I pull it from the file manager option, but when I go straight from the SD I get the "Could not retrieve file". So for now, I'm fine with this program and hope that 8chan rises back up.

It would be 5 stars if I could post images from Google drive and Google photos.
