Presenting a completely Free Asian Birds Sounds compilation app with high quality sounds and songs of birds found in Asia!
Featuring the Asian Koel, Banded Kingfisher, Black Eagle, Black Headed Bulbul,Jungle Prinia, Striped Wren Babbler and many more birds!
Bird Sounds can be played by tapping on a bird picture. All sounds can be saved as Ringtones, Notifications and Alarms by long pressing on a bird and selecting the relevant option.
Birds can be grouped by family or alphabetical order (with and without headings) using the Menu Settings.
A Birdwatching checklist is included allowing you to tick off birds you have seen. Tapping on a bird on the checklist screen allows you to view more information about the bird on Wikipedia or perform an image search via Google images.
Personal Lists can be created too! Create a list of your favorite birds, or add birds that you've seen on a recent bird watching trip. Birds can be added to your lists from the checklist screen.
Mini games are also included helping you to learn the different birds found in this app: Guess the Picture, Guess the Sound and Guess the Name.
In App Billing is supported via the 'Remove Ads' button. Upon purchasing this upgrade this app will not serve any advertisements. All future app updates will also not receive any adverts too.
Permissions are required for saving birds sounds and displaying advertisements.
All images and sounds used are royalty free.

Considering the avian diversity of Asia, there are very few species included in this app. There also were some errors where the vocalization of one species was matched with the picture of another. This app probably would be greatly improved by breaking Asia down into smaller regions, then adding more species. Correcting misidentified species also would be important.

The way these bird sounds were recorded is very noisy. You can hear more of the humming sound than the bird sound.

I didn't like the whacking great big advert selling me some kid's game the moment I played one bird song, and some of the recordings are a bit sketchy BUT this app is staying on my tablet because overall it does the job well. I like the addition of the quizzes too. Improve the recordings (isolate the bird song from background noise), add in more birds, and this is a five star app.

Pop ups of unwanted links as soon as I downloaded. Also created unwanted shortcuts to my homepage. Uninstalling, because of said reasons and I was looking for a pheasant sound common in the USA, instead of Asia.
