Most egregious is the fact that when the app is in the background during other activities and the Android system cleans it up, it will not ring at the scheduled time. Next is that there is no notification to tell us when an alarm is currently counting down (for easy cancellation). When the alarm does ring, the vibration is so aggressive I'm afraid it might damage my phone--much more dramatic than any other app. Finally, ringing alarms are a little difficult to dismiss, needing to find a notification in the notification menu. More advanced alarms have a popup that contains a button to stop the ringing.
