Accelerometer Analyzer for Android
It's not the prettiest but it is definitely the most functional. Best output for data analysis.

Help me out with recording some vibration readings
Too many ads
DO NOT USE Plays a loud alarm tone repeatedly after it's been running for a couple of minutes and cannot be turned off. This is apparently to draw your attention to the advert htat pops up at the same time.
When writing after purchasing the no advertising version the "free GPS timeout" occurs after a few minutes. This also sets off an alarm that the phone must be reset to turn off. Not usable to collect accelerometer data over an long time period.
It would be nice to have a note pop up when the accelerometer is not working. That way I know the cause of no data.
Good app to test and play with accelerometer. You can see live streaming of data. You can record and send the data to your email and so on. Helped me getting started with sensor application.
Time steps dt are uneven. Might be problematic to use for engineering purposes.
I use it to explain earthquakes
Awesome app..it needs storage of data
Wonderful app. We used it for experiment and it's perfect.
It does exactly what it says it does, and does it very well, I love this app
Wonderful App. Exactly what I was looking for!
I like it
Just what I needed!
Good ever i see
Works great
Very worth it. I had lots of fun with this app all around me! I want to suggest to add velocity when Earth's gravity is removed (by integration). That way, I can see how fast I swing my phone in real time.
The app does its task well, rest of it depends on your cell phone sensor. You can record and save data and use them offline. That's more than enough.
What i needed to know is that if my accelerometer sensor is working or not and is this damaged???...This app has given me the right answer..I tlitted my mobile at all sides,,,The scale showed me that from all sides my accelerometer sensor is fully ok!!!...Thanks to the team
Used a few times and it is very good. Transferred file to Excell and plotted 10second acceleration chart which is quite useful for my sport. Easy to use.
Could you also add jerk? A.k.a. derivative of acceleration
It keeps collecting data despite closing the app. How do I stop this app? Otherwise a cool app. Seems to do the job. But the fact the app will not close is a major problem.
It'd be great if the app can stream th he data in real time onto PC.. Please see if that addition is possible...
Good app for help me out from vibration problem
I took these readings on a vertical shake table after mounting my phone on the component. Can you please guide me to validate my readings
It would be nice if you could pause the screen and scroll back in time for quick visual analysis. It would also be cool if you could then select a range to take the integral of.
Nice app. However it seems that the output written in the file is da(t)/dt rather than the acceleration (a(t) = dv(t)/dt) and that the unit is in g/s rather than m/s2. I tested this moving the phone over a table, along a ruler, over a fixed distance. All correct and accurate when treating the output as da(t)/dt. I'm I wrong?
Great app, good support and app permissions are now fixed to be a secure and trusted app.
How wonky. I thought graphs would record movement as a way to see metering. No values displayed. Empty graphs. What.
It seems to move strangely downwards when zooming in with the pinch gesture, it does not stay aligned with my fingers. This results in the area I want to see being shifted offscreen, and the logging process interrupted.
It has great potential . u can use this to convert it into midi parameter &communicate through WiFi with PC or Mac to communicate with DAW . I can imagine my smartphone attached to hand in air controlling my guitar fx ( to play some sick dubstep drop) :D
Good for scientific project.
Can we detect gravity wave with next update?
Exactly what i was looking for! Good job!
Great I like, you can zoon in to see better sesitivity.
Use this all the time brill app on Samsung S5
Great app
