Great app! Does a great job! PLEASE fix problem with facebook messenger app not lighting up the screen on samsung galaxy s6 edge android 7.0 !!!!

I was in trouble with a rom cook b'cuz the screen was not turned on with notifications. Now it is no longer border me. Thank you so much dev team!

Great. Now my screen lights up when I get notifications. Much better than a measly noise. Now I can just move my head to read my Samsung J3 phone.

Works perfectly but one suggestion is to have an option to turn on the screen after n minutes if there are still pending notifications. Some smartphones don't have visible notification light so having the option to turn on the screen after an interval would be really helpful.

When my phone is on silent I still like to be able to see when I get a message or email. Ever since the android update about a year ago I think kit Kat 4.4.2 or something, this had been disabled. Now I don't need to have the sounds on our vibrate mode in for the screen to light up. No more missed calls or texts that I don't get notified about except by a stupid LED. This ago is simple and solves an actual problem. Thank you.

Just found this app today after the app I had been using for years stopped working with Android 7 and my LG v20 phone. I actually enjoy this app more. Runs smoothly, no delays or glitches. Simple to set up. Doesn't effect battery life at all. Thanks to the developer for a great app and I hope to be able to use it for all additional Android updates. Thanks.

Ever since I installed this app, my screen will randomly wake up, even when no notifications are received. Is this a known bug? I didn't go all the way down to 1 star because it does wake the phone up when I do receive notifications.

Mine is Galaxy A8 on Marshmallow.. But if only the screen turned more softly, it would be perfect. It does turn the screen on but the way it turns on just so suddenly and that way makes it not elegant. I mean, I want the screen to turn on like an iPhone turns the screen on when it receives notifications, smoothly and elegantly.

No issues so far. One teensy thing, I would make it so that I can turn on apps I want the screen to light up for instead of waiting for every single app to send its notification to me before I can shut it off. Other than that, no problem-o!

App used to work on S7 Edge, new security policy makes me sign in with PIN, instead of Fingerprint. Emailed Dev, haven't heard back from him to look into this issue.

It used to work great and turn the screen on when I connected my phone via bluetooth to my car launcher but since the OS on my phone upgraded to Android 7.0 I can't get it to work any longer. My car launcher app is not showing up on the enable apps page

I love AOD in my Clear View cover for Galaxy S8 but I don't want it to be on all the time for battery issues. I just want it to turn on for 5 seconds when I receive a notification. I looked and searched everywhere to be able to do so with no luck. But with this app it works beautifully as I wanted. When I receive a notification my clear view screen will wake up for 5 seconds! Thanks for the great work and you deserve the donation.

Samsung J5 here on Lollipop. Settings switch to "disabled" by itself occassionally. What may be the problem? Other than that, perfect suppleent for Android 5.x

I can't figure out why you NEED this app on a "SMART PHONE". It seems to me samsung should have built in this feature in the s7. But, this app fixes those issues.

A temporary workaround for the security glitch is not granting full permission to the app.

Refuses to light up my screen on Nougat when music track changes no matter what music player I use. Worked fine on marshmallow

What sad about android is that screen doesn't light up when notifications come. Glad there's this app. Good job!

This app is super easy and simple. I have been trying to find an app like this forever and I'm glad I did. Since when I got messages from people when I didn't even know I did. I also like the feature where you can chose which apps that you want this to work with. I love this app.

Tested on Android 6.0 and regret donation given. Don't waste your time or money.

Downloaded on my s6 edge to anable flash notification. Works great so far. FYI it will not enable until you get a notification. You can then allow or disallow in the settings.

This works partially. I cannot activate device admin. Also it doesn't uninstall fully. Can someone offer help please?

After a while it stops. I just have to reflick the slider.

Some apps will make the screen turn on and some won't. Some notifications don't even work at all now unless I have the app open itself that I'm getting notifications for. It's actually quite annoying.

I would like to day it's great, and it is - for about a day, then it turns itself off. Currently using a Sony xperia Z5.

Works great on my phone, android marshmallow. Couldn't get my screen to wake when receiving text and email, but this great and simple app fixed that! Thank you very much.

Simple, easy, does exactly what it says - love it! Life saver for me as I switched from iPhone where I got used to screen turning on with notifications.

It is ok, it lights up but it doesn't stay on if interaction commences. When I get a notification that I want to interact with, the screen turns off just as I try to unlock. Would be better if the app bailed out if it senses screen interaction

On Samsung S7 running the Android 6.0 the app has a conflict with the security policies. I am unable to unlock the phone with the fingerprint if this app turned on the screen and the timeout has expired thus turning the screen back off after the notification. Please try solving this issue because it is starting to get annoying.

Very simple concept - app detects notifications sent by other apps (only with your permission). You choose which apps to 'listen' for notifications from. App then briefly flashes screen on, so you 'notice' the notification. You can control how long screen pops on for. Worked brilliantly on lollipop. Like another user reported recently though, it interferes with sound notifications now. Some work. Some don't (e.g. whatsapp). Such a shame. Really nice app otherwise. Unfortunately even if "disable proximity detector" is off, it still lights up my scren when in my pocket or inside my bag.

Great app, but not very compatible with the new S7 security policies. So it won't probably work very well on any Samsung device with Android 6.0. This is the issue. I use my fingerprint to unlock the phone. If the screen comes on because of this app, next time I want to unlock the phone it says that because of security policies to protect my fingerprint I have to use the PIN number :( Developer, not sure if there's any way to fix this, but if you google it you'll see that it's not only your great app.

Coming from iOS to Android, I can't believe Android doesn't offer a way to activate the screen when receiving a text or email. This app solves that problem. I'd give it ten stars if I could.

Turn on the screen fine, but the timeout doesn't work even the lock permission is activated.

Wake up length of the lock screen is able to set when given administration right, but it ignore user interaction with notifications, which means it will lock the screen without considering user is interacting with the notification. Please solve it. Overall it is an awesome app. Will give 5 stars after issue is solve

Why are new apps that provide notifications enabled to turn the screen on in the app by default? Surely the sliders for new apps should be disabled and enabled by the user at their decision? I wondered why my screen was randomly lighting up after this update

Love this app. But I would like to see the notifications I get in the lock screen be pulled down not all clumped on one notification. I have an LG V10. Kind of like iPhone I like how any message or notification you get it automatically separated it self from one another. Would be nice to have an option like this. Thank you Developers.

Downloaded it so I would get a screen light up notification for a non native SMS app, works great. Simple interface.
