RainViewer: Weather Radars

Severe rains, storms, hail, hurricanes, or even showers sometimes brings huge damage. The rain forecast is everywhere and it's important to know when the rain will be, but it is actually difficult to predict how much and when precipitation will fall out. RainViewer will help. The application visualizes observations from weather radars around the world, builds a short-term rain forecast and notify you if the rain expected in your rain area.

The RainViewer receives real-time data from the weather radars around the world and produces animation for 2, 6 and 24 past hours. Due to worldwide coverage and viewing of different kind of precipitations such as drizzle, rainfall, storm, thunderstorm, hail, you get to know about dangerous weather conditions long before it appears.

But there much better information for you. Since now you don't need to look into the application anymore. Periodically, RainViewer retrieves rainfall data for your area, calculates the direction and speed of precipitations and notify you down to minutes when and how much rain is expected. We call it "Rain alarm"

To receive rain alarms, you just need to install the application and allow access to your current location. Being notified even 10 minutes before the rain will allow you not to get wet. Typically, RainViewer warns you 30-40 minutes before the rain starts.

We are concerned about your privacy. All the calculations are happening right in your phone, your location not sent to our server. Also, we thoroughly tested the application in order to save your battery charge.
