Smart Lucero Bulb

Crappy app. Still needs more updates and tweeking. The lights flash at the same tempo regardless of the music genre, jazz or techno, but it only plays 1 song at a time, you have to manually select next song when it should just automatically move on to the next one. Very annoying! Also group feature doesnt work.Have contacted company twice with no response.

Its getting kinda annoying now. My problems I have is how it dont detect the bulb at all off and on and why does it need my location if its controlled through bluetooth?

I really like it, people that come over love it.

Well built bulbs that make the best of a of a short handed feature (Bluetooth). The recent update spree has me thinking there is a new team behind the app. This has lead to a massive upgrade in quality in the app. Little to no crashing, faster load times, better bulb detection. - Areas of improvement still exist. *Better tablet support. *The useless camera app that poorly attempts to mimic on screen colors. *Moods need to go because they are exactly the same Functions. *Custom functions need to be grouped into the function tab. *Music should be grouped with Disco. *Timers need to show favorite saved colors for easy selection and possibly a preview of the color and brightness as you set each timer so you don't have to wait for each timer to kick in to see if you got your colors correct.- Overall this is a decent app that is improving. The product is solid but it just needs refinement and less clutter in the app.

Why the he'll does the app suddenly require my location to function? Completely unnecessary.

Several features do not work such as locking in a color from the camera or manually entering RGB values. The timers work intermittently (which males them wholly worthless). Resetting the bulbs does not work. Using the camera to capture a color does not lock on a color and will eventually cause the bulb to go to white. You cannot end the feature without turning off the bulb or group. Live Help often has a lengthy delay (longest so far for me has been a full day). If you bought your bulbs hoping for these features then you should return the bulbs.

Bulb in itself isn't bad but the app is like a secondary after thought. Buggy, incomplete, and downright slow. Edit 1/15/18: they finally fixed the bug which hid any working set timers.

Nice to see some recent effort to improve the app. Unfortunately, many of the colors of your bulb don't match particularly close to what is shown in the color wheel.

Really cool app. I see it needs a lot bug fixing such as saving timers but just as fine. I really wish sunrise mode can gradually increase brightness and not just jumps in small increments The feeling of waking up would be soooo much nicer.

Please fix the app. The sunrise/timer option is the only reason I purchased this product and it does not save the timer(s).

New update messed up my bulb grouping. Crashes everytime I open a group. Six months and still the same

Unable to set timers for my bulbs. It won't save them.

The app is a mess. So buggy. I can't add new groups at all and it crashes a lot. I even got a Java error when I tried to register.

Update: last patch made my bulbs unrecognizable. Please fix.... Really slow each time I have to open the app to connect to my bulbs. Always has to reconnect before each time I can change after I leave the app. If fixed will get 5 stars. Overall very nice bulbs and easy to navigate the app.

When the bulbs are connected app is fine but the bulbs never want to connect right away. I have to reconnect them every other time because even though the app says they are connected nothing happens when I press on or off. Bulbs and app are a waste of time.

I own 3 bulbs and I'm unable to put them in a group! App needs work, bulbs are too expensive to not work correctly.

Waste of money, time and effort. Getting a refund for this bulb...Doesn't work. Don't waste any part of your life on this.

Can no longer control the bulbs, still works great on iPhone though.

Working great! Takes a lil time to do things but worth the wait for the crazy customization of light patterns!

I don't want to trash Lucero, as I see the app is very much under active development. Should have made sure the wi-fi bulbs could connect to the app before shipping the product, though. Would like to see some response from the company also, have attempted to reach out 3 different ways. There is no contact info on the company website. I bought the wi-fi bulb through amazon, have until Nov. 20 to return. Will see if they can get a fix out before returning. (To summarize the issue, app won't finalize the connection to the bulb, the phone will connect to the bulb as a wi-fi network, but it appears the app doesn't realize that's happened and keeps searching forever.)

App is total garbage. A great product and a great idea is being ruined by a crappy development team. Fire them all and try again.

Does its job. Needs ok google and watch integration or atleast some sort of API so we can develop our own apps. Until then, app is just ok.

A very poor app, doesn't work. Keeps asking for bulb name and then does nothing.

The app does not work. The app fails to create a new account so I can troubleshoot the apps problems. I can't join 2 lights together .the app becomes unresponsive all the time .I'm going to stop being frustrated with these bulbs and app when I throw them in the trash

New app update does not work. Was decent before but doesn't work at all now.

It worked pretty good up until the most recent update. Now it crashes if you try to interact with groups and won't let you even save new groups. Without group functions literally all you can do is turn individual bulbs on and off in whatever their last color was before the update.

It is a decent app for what it is, I would give it 5 stars if I could turn off my phone and still have the music function work. It however does work flawlessly for me, sometimes it can take a minute to connect but that's to be expected. If they were to fix my issue with the music function I'd give it a 5/5

The app doesn't really say it connects to the bulb, but it does. Just blow past all the steps and you can start using it.

New app won't connect to lights. Sees them but just hangs at connecting when you try to turn the on or off or anything else.
