Lucero Smart Bulb

Half the time it doesn't pick up all the bulbs. It causes Bluetooth music to skip like crazy if it's open. The on off button in group control has never worked. Developer hasn't fixed any issues with this app since I bought the bulbs

I originally gave this app a rating of 3. At the time, I was only using one of my two grouped bulbs for the most part. After a while of using grouped bulbs and many months passing without any notable updates to the software, I have to lower my rating. The app is still buggy and frustrating to use with groups. I have to constantly go in and fix individual bulbs because the group commands didn't send to them correctly. There are no widgets and no IFTTT integration, something that is sorely missed.

I've been using this LED light above my bed for about 6 months now and it has been great! The "alarm clock" feature is nice and helps me wake up every morning. The presets are great and most features work as expected! This is a very reasonably priced and good quality alternative to other commercial LED bulbs. The only complaints I have are: - The app takes a while to load and makes turning the light on and off or making adjustments a bit of a time consuming experience. A home screen/lock screen widget for toggling the light is at the very top of my wish list for this product. - I often have to press the power toggle 2 times to get the light to actually turn on or off. It is as if the app is unable to determine the light's state upon connection.

It's a good app but it does not recognize the receiver after I closed the app. The Bluetooth is on and have resorted to pushing the button on the receiver. It's annoying.

Every day I use this thing, I die a little more inside. They stopped updating it idk how long ago, from how buggy the features work. The timer isn't reliable at all. The UI in unintuitive to say the least. just an all around bad app.

Works perfect! I was skeptical at first considering it was a cheap bulb. As soon as I downloaded app it was working within seconds!

Have 2 bulbs in the same room. Despite resetting and uninstall and reinstall app. Worked great for about 2-3 weeks. Now connection issues.

I bought 4 bulbs for a room, they NEVER connect all at the same time, it is such a pain to try to operate I just gave up, waste of $150

Don't buy it! Most of the time it does not work and you have to play a minute until you turn on all your bulbs. It is a pain. It is the same bad on the Nexus 6P and on the Nexus 7.

The app is in serious need of an android update. This is an iOS app ported poorly to Android.

Works well I like it. No real issues, probably could add some more features though.

No issues with operation. Could use more features. Would like a button where I can set it back to the original color after playing with all the other colors.

Update the app like you guys promised.. it is terrible

Excellent Screwed in, switched on. Switched on app. Instant connection. All functions operating correctly. Clear, intuitive interface. Excellent product. Tested on Android and iPhone - both excellent.

Very cool I really dig having this in my recording studio. Lighting can make tons of difference when trying to create the right mood.

Nice less expensive alternative Great features like grouping, on/off timer, integrated with music on phone.

Please add Android wear integration. Widget and locked screen controls would be greatly appreciated.

Definitely buggy

Out of all the smart color led bulbs I have tried this one is the best. The one issue with this app that I have is the permissions. I'd like to know why this app requires access to my location and personal files and not just a silly explanation of "because it needs access to work". I know about app development and this makes no sense to me. The camera and mic access is understandable for the added features of this bulb but the rest is unnecessary. Other then that the only other thing I would like to see in this app is a refresh to material design. This is an app for Android and I can't help but feel it's just a port from iOS when I use it because of the design.

Tons of colorful modes to play with. An addition of a widget would make this app perfect.

This app is really cool when paired with the light bulb! The features are pretty fun, but I have a gripe with the disco feature that changes the light in tune with background music. This was my reason for my purchase. I was under the impression that it changes the light colors in a manner that matches to the beat but rather the light changes color at the same rapid pace regardless of beat. The only thing that's controlled by the sound is the intensity of the light. Otherwise I'd say this app is pretty solid

I like it. It works. That's all I care about. One suggestion? Allow a feature to let the bulb dim/vice versa before the timer goes off.

For the price I paid I at least expect an app that works. Effing junk.

Dont work

Wish the colored lights could be as bright as the white lights. Also I wish I could set the white light as a favorite.

The bulb is a cool innovation, but the app was sloppily made. User unfriendly, confusing and sometimes straight unresponsive, I've been waiting for an update to fix the bugs in the app and it seems like lucero is on to bigger/better.

This app (and its corresponding bulb) look cool and is a blast to play around with, but the design issues with the app make you wish you could do more. My biggest gripe is the fact that my bulb appears to be white when set to white mode, but looks like a light blue purple. Since the animations only work with default colors, I can't get a normal strobe light effect that I want. Maybe this will be fixed in a future updates, but this combined with a clunky user interface brings me to a 3 out of 5.

The controls are touchy because everything swipes and the app thinks you're swiping instead of touching.

absolutely love this app and bulb , but i got a new phone and lost the paper with the Bluetooth code on it ... please help me!!!
