InMaps utilizza un software per la navigazione indoor che geolocalizza i device all'interno degli edifici, basandosi sui punti di accesso alla rete wi-fi e sugli strumenti normalmente presenti in tutti gli smartphone e i tablet (accelerometro e bussola). Grazie a questo innovativo sistema di geolocalizzazione l'utente è in grado di spostarsi all'interno di un edificio, normalmente impenetrabile ai sistemi di posizionamento basati su gps, visualizzando la propria posizione su di una mappa e facendosi guidare dal sistema di navigazione integrato.
