Roque “Rocky” De La Fuente Guerra, was born on October 10, 1954, in San Diego California at Mercy Hospital. He is the son of Roque De La Fuente Alexander and Bertha Guerra Yzaguirre. He was raised by Carmelites of the Sacred Heart, The Daughters of the Holy Spirit, Dominican Pillars, Legionaries of Christ, Marist, Jesuits in Tijuana, Baja California, Anaheim California and Mexico City. He attended Saint Catherine’s Military Academy and Anáhuac University where he studied Business Administration. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Physics and Math.
In 1974 he entered the automotive business. His first job was selling Mazda in El Cajon CA.; then he worked for Toyota (John A. Rose). In late 1975 he became General Sales Manager of Kearny Mesa Volkswagen. Between the years 1976 and 1990 he acquired the following Franchises: Alfa Romeo, American Motors (AMC), Audi, Cadillac, Chrysler, Daihatsu, Dodge, Dodge Truck, GMC trucks, Honda, Isuzu Jeep, Lincoln, Mazda, Mercury, Merkur, Oldsmobile, Peugeot (3), Plymouth, Pontiac, Porsche, Renault, Subaru (2), Volkswagen (2), a total of 28 New Car Franchises in California.

When he wanted to explore new opportunities sold 27 and stayed with one “Cadillac”, his favorite plate is # 9 and 7716, which he still holds today.
In 1979 founded American Automotive Management & Services Inc. and renamed it American International Enterprises Inc, dba American International Realty. In 1982 at the age of 28 he was elected Chairman of the National Dealer Council of USA for the then third largest Automotive Company in the World.
