Recordense Voice Recorder

This app is great when recording lectures, as you can use the tagging feature to highlight certain important timings in the recording. It also have categories that let you neatly organise your recordings, and synchronise with google drive. However, it would be perfect if this apps also synchronise the tags across different devices, cause right now my tablet (another device) is only showing the audio recording, but not the time tags. And perhaps allow deletion of tags during the recording process, as some times the tags may be incorrectly placed. Overall, I would highly recommend this app for others to use!

It works very nicely, good sound quality and organization, but the one thing that's really lacking is the tag function. It's hardly any good to tag a spot AFTER someone says it, so the tag feature should place the tag 3-5 five seconds before it was pressed. Make that happen, and I would gladly give this 5 stars.

I gotta say, I love this application, it does well, but is the integration part fail? I linked it once, and its keeps stating a change in my google account requires re-authorise, I have to do this at least on a daily basis, its pretty annoying.

I paid for the app for the great file organization and color coding. As this is an audio recording app, I expected that audio quality would be assumed. I an disappointed in the clicking sounds on my playback recordings. Please fix. Galaxy s7..

I am producing daily avg 20 record. After couple of months should I scroll to find it or search option is better if exist ? Another improvement stamp of date time in filename or our customed suffix prefix in filenames. Needs support for searching. I need Google logic in this program. Good labels tags you gave and search and find from thousands of your records

Samsung Note 4 -- crackling sound! The app doesn't develop yet, owner doesn't do anything.

I love this app and I totally depend on it whenever I want to record a lecture or a meeting and it never failed me.. Although I have an error related to sviewer after each recording save or edit but its not affecting the recording.. 4 stars is for the features that can be added to become like recordium on IOS.. Personally I would like to have the option of controlling the tag time so it can be adjusted 10 seconds before pressing the tag insert button.. Bought it to support the developer..

The Sync to Google Drive fails completely in Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-i9506 5.0.1 Android and CyanogenMod 12. However, the sync with USB works fine when moving manually files from the folder Recordings to your Chromebook. The device stays in infinite boot and restarts all the time if Sync enabled and wifi network available. No API of the application is available so no integration to OCR application can be done smoothly. It is also difficult to control the recordings and their tags which you lose apparently when you move your files away from the program. Deleting sound records also crashes the whole Android and forces Android to restart. You have to remove those files with your computer. There are at least these two features of the application which crashes the whole OS and force a restart.

This App Used to be Perfect For Me but I'm no longer able to share my sounds to SoundCloud via the app & there's feedback during the recordings !!!! PLEASE FIX ASAP!!!!

Huawei Nexus 6P

This was my go-to app for voice recording until I upgraded to a Galaxy S6. Now Recordense restarts my phone with extreme prejudice every time I finish a recording. Since I use this for work, it's a deal-breaker for me. I will restore this to 5 stars when or if this rather egregious bug is ever fixed.

Recordense has become my "go to" voice recorder because of its excellent method of tagging. There are other excellent voice recorders, but the point of recording anything, is to RETRIEVE the information (play the music, take notes, transcribe, etc.). In Recordense, you can quickly tag sections as you record and afterwards go right to the parts of the recording you need instead of having to "listen/pause/listen/pause/rewind/listen/ pause..." through the recording as most apps without the more refined "micro" tagging force you to do. Watch out: some apps will let you tag, but only at the "macro" level, not as you move along the voice "timeline". Recordense uses "categories" for that "macro" level along with the "micro" level tagging method, which makes the recordings MUCH more useful! Great job, Recordense!

This app used to be great until the developers gave up on it. No updates since Dec 2014.

Quick and easy recording from your wrist. I hope future versions will have an "All Recordings" view that displays all categories at once.

Used to be a great app.

Used to be great app but for some reason keeps crashing now. It still records and syncs with gdrive but the app keeps crashing making it take 3-4 times longer to get a simple task done.

And also, it crash... Lost my recording.

Crashing other apps.

1 many sparkling that never happened before. 2 keeps restarting when I try to delete files. It says 'exiting ultra stamina mode' but actually I am not using ultra stamina, or i would not even be able to open this app.

No file options other than AAC and PCM. WAV and ogg would be welcome additions to the file format fold. Well designed app, though.

... but for some reason playback quality is poor on my M9. The native recorder works fine so I don't think it's a mic issue. Any suggestions please?

And also, it crash... Lost my recording.

I love how this app syncs my lectures to all of my devices. It was working perfectly until I updated to Android 5.1 on my Note Edge and I hear a popping sound in all of my recordings now.

It records and saves to your google drive. What more is there?

It's the only app adding a clicking sound to the recording, it doesn't share via WhatsApp anymore and it hasn't updated in a while.

Great App does everything I want! Cloud sync is GREAT! I like it more than I expected. Except there is a weird light buzz on my recordings (using default settings) that I don't get when I use other recording apps. I switched to "high quality recording at 1.1mb/min". 5 stars if the buzzing goes away.

I used to like this app, but it no longer works on my Nexus 9, as the recording volume level is so low that it is worthless. (Other recording apps work fine on the same device, so it is something with this app.) I have sent this bug to support, but never even got a response. The app has not been updated in 6 months...

Recordings have this annoying harshness/clicking sound in the background. Tried another recording app and couldn’t reproduce the issue on those recordings, which makes it an app issue. Hopefully this gets fixed asap.

Great app with potential to be one's 1 for all lecture recording app. However, it crashes constantly! Lost 3 recordings in one week, so this is a negative review and ADVICES AGAINST BUYING. will update after the app gets upgraded with clear statement of crash issue fix. How hard can that be...

Since the last update, I've gotten annoying clicking noise in the back ground every time I record. Fix it or I'll keep giving one-star review.

I was able to create one category without problems but whenever trying to create a new one, my phone (xperia z3) tries to enter ultra stamina mode and shutsdown.

It gets a high piched noise that other apps don't get.

I like the ability to tag points of interest. Use it often for business calls and training sessions.
