LoungeBuddy for Android
Nice tool
Needs the ability to save multiple trips. On a lesser priority, it would be nice if the credit cards the user has selected would be pinned to the top of the list. Though the user could type, scrolling through a list of a gazillion Visa cards is tedious.
Would really like the ability to add/save multiple upcoming trips, otherwise kind of slow but definitely a useful app
It won't connect with Facebook and it won't send me the verification email to connect that way.
The Android version desperately needs the functionality of the iOS version.
Used to be really good. Now it just crashes all the time... To the point that it's unusable! Also, there is a known bug for Android where it tells you that you have lounge access for a domestic flight (because of elite status), but you really don't.
Although I like the app, it crashes continually to the point where it is useless and the descriptions of the lounges are undetailed and generic. I wish each lounge had an individual description with some of the amenities or lack their of, so it would be easier to judge what lounges would be better.
Don't trust anything this app tells you. If you put in a domestic first class trip (e.g. with Delta airline), it will tell you you have free lounge access but in fact you don't. If the app develop people don't know their stuff, then don't make an app that gives out false information and causes inconvenience to others!!!!
There is a need for an app like this and aesthetically the app looks great but the resulting data is just incorrect. It tells me that I get lounge access for free from American Airlines because I'm Platinum Status level. That's completely inaccurate. Even a Platinum Status requires either a co-branded credit card or $500 annual payment to access the lounge for free. I didn't pick that credit card or a lounge membership in the settings.
The transitions disorient the user, the app doesn't follow any Android design guidelines, navigation is a complete mess, and there's a noticeable delay after touching anything. You can't just browse lounges once you've created a trip, and it's not easy to see what kind of access someone else might have without unchecking all of your settings. LoungeBuddy really needs to redesign this. This is a great example of form over function, it's almost unusable.
Been trying to use it for a month, and every single time it crashes. Would have loved to use for all upcoming trips, but sadly never works!
Used to be my go to app, now it won't let me view even the list of lounges on my trip without crashing. Really want this app back up and running, but for now it doesn't do anything for me anymore
Got as far as sewing the lounges available, then when I click on one it crashed. Tried 7 times. Uninstalling.
For months now, has crashed on every attempted use. This is true of S7, 6p, and 5x. Devs have apparently abandoned Android version of this app.
... Now just incredibly slow, cumbersome, and inaccurate. Bummer.
Please add this to the Android app. Also, app does not understand multi carrier trips.
Used to work great now it's useless. Please update!
Obviously hasn't been updated in awhile. Doesn't list the Chase Sapphire Reserve. Therefore you are seeing incorrect information if you just choose Priority Pass Select. Uninstalling.
Use this app Everytime I travel. It's a lifesaver!
Doesn't work as advertised
Every single time
Issues have been resolved. App is working great again.
For some reason Concur sync is only on the iOS version???
Slow and not working
There is no save option for trips, or ability to set the date/time of a trip, which is annoying as I have multiple flights coming up. Also it isn't clear how selecting lounge club as my membership is affecting the lounges I can see. And what is the significance of the square and round green shapes on the buy pass page?
Piece of crap, setup a trip and nothing works after that!!!
I've looked at 5 different airports in four countries with this app and none of the lounges were accessible via Lounge Buddy. We are talking major airports like CPH, PEK and SYD. Despite showing the price for some lounges you can't book via Lounge Buddy. Wouldn't recommend until they get considerably more lounges on board in Asia, Europe and Australia.
Like others it told me my email address was not valid. Deleted and reinstalled and successfully entered email into opening screen.
Would be a great app but won't accept my email address! So therefore can't rate any lounges I use.
The app won't get past the first screen. When I tried to continue without email, or with Facebook or with email the app crashes. Was looking for an app to use while traveling but right now this isn't the one which is a shame as I read good reviews but am not getting the same experience as the other user's
Like previous reviewer, can't enter valid email address which basically renders it useless
Airports won't show up during Create Trip
App is good, must me better if you have an IOS because Android users have been slighted on promotions going on a year now. Very unfair
Doesn't work
Helped me figure out where to go so many times.Love this app
Tried installing....deleting....reinstalling...with and without email address. Kept crashing. Not worth the effort...
I travel a lot for work and use this app at all of my stops at new airports. This gets me to the lounge to get a drink in hand that much quicker!
I just discovered this app today ... it clearly identifies what lounges are accessible, and which ones I have access to. Sounds trivial, but it's really not, especially at large airports it can be difficult to sort out.
Overall, excellent, does just what you want with the ease biz travelers need. Pricey lounges but not to this app's fault, would like more discounts for buying channel here.
