Small complaint: sound cuts out at the last word of each page. Words arent spoken fully. Please fix. like the Charlie Brown Christmas book that LoudCrow did, this book looks & sounds great. Love the style of animation & the interactivity of it--especially on a tablet. runs smooth & great on my Gnex. easily worth the $ for my favorite cartoon.

My favorite interactive book is Charlie Brown Christmas. The Great Pumpkin does not dissappoint. I think it is a close second and it is far superior to other interactive books. Well worth the money. I like how you can make your own Charlie Brown character, wish it could be incorporated better into the story. Also would think it would be fun if one could download an actual photo for the head. Hopefully there will be a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

Snoopy's "Flying Ace" sequence is NOT in this version! It's one of the best parts of the original tv special and it's not included here. Also, there are VERY FEW interactive achievements in this as compared to last year's "Charlie Brown's Christmas" app. Lastly, having to PAY to dress up your avatar with decent halloween costumes??.. In a $5 halloween app!? I don't think so. Greedy Greedy Greedy and Lame.

I love what Loud Crow does with the Snoopy cartoons, being faithful to the look and spirit of Shultzs work. Charlie Brown Christmas was excellent. Great Pumpkin is great and worth the money but misses in a couple of points. First they didn't do the full snoopy scenes - granted I think it would have been a challenge but if you are a fan of the cartoon it you feel its absence.  Second the avatar felt bolted on and was glitchy.  I very much like the concept and how they integrated into the story but the attempt to further monitize by charging for additional costumes cheapened it and seemed to cause technical issues. Overall this app is a win.

Usually when I want my kids to read this book is when I'm out and about, thus having no wifi connection on my Nexus 7. This book, along with all the other Loud Crow books I've purchased, will periodically do a license check. However if you have no connection, the check will fail and prevent you from using the app. Like any other app I'm sure this can be easily pirated. Thus the DRM is only hurting actual paying customers. Remove the DRM and I'll bump it up to 5 stars

It's ok, but there isn't much to do and even when you buy it, if you want any decent avatar clothes you have to pay extra. Not worth five dollars.

Well made, looks very modern, clear sound, & has some nice interactive elements. Here are my issues: 1. As others have stated, it's incomplete. 2. Avatar creation section touch screen controls aren't precise. If the above items were resolved, & if user personalization (avatar, for example) included abit more content- that would make it perfect.

I loved this company's Charlie Brown Christmas app and I love this Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown app even more. It's a storybook come alive with interaction from the listener. It has the original character voices and the great music too! After you have created your avatar or brought it over from the free Pumpkin Carving game that you can download separately, your avatar joins the story with Charlie Brown and the gang at Violet's party and while trick or treating! Great fun for kids and the young at heart! Works great on Nexus 7.

Stuck in avatar screen and can't get out. Couldn't get it to narrate. Very disappointing app. Wish I could get my money back. Full of bugs.

It won't exit the avatar...can't get back to the book. I paid to dress an avatar that's it? Please fix this.

Pretty good interactivity. I don't understandof the reason for the lines on the ground in the story mode. The texture is also strange; it's not as much paper texture as fabric texture.

My son loves it. Giggles, giggles, giggles.... Going to download the Christmas one.

Love it! You can't hardly find these cartoons on TV anymore. Now I can watch it whenever I want and interact with it.

The app gets stuck in Avatar mode. You have to pay for extras. You think that would be covered by the price.
