Lorex Ping

Works while phone ( note 4) is connected to home wi fi where camera is , but useless when using phones data ....cannot see, says "access denied"

Does not work with Moto e 4 keeps saying that unfortunately lorex ping has stopped

After loading the most recent app, things started working as they were supposed to. Big improvement lorex. Needs some more ironing but seems to be minor stuff.

Update: Bought 4 of these cameras and after 1 year, have worked most of the bugs out of it. Some days it stays connected, other days it says "offline." Unreliable, but mounted these so too much trouble to take off. Power outage, and have to re-connect. Works decent with wifi, but not very reliable with 4G. Field of vision limited for small rooms. Stable 2 way communication, motion, sound sensor. Video recording with SD is okay. System works, but would not purchase more despite the cheap costs.

App crashes constantly and gives error messages that I know not to be true. Also, rarely connects remotely. Less than 1 in 20 attempts will it actually connect. Updated to version 2.0 and Norton anti-malware identified it as a malware risk and recommended I delete it.

Connectivity to the cameras is very sporadic, which is unacceptable for a baby monitor or security camera. Since those were the 2 uses this app and these cameras are good for the whole setup is useless. When I got my camera connected and working, the app crashed my phone after a couple hours. A garbage app for garbage cameras. The other Lorex Ping app and the PC program are just as bad. I'm returning mine. Save yourself hours of frustration and get another brand of IP camera.

My lookout security detected this app as having spyware

Works perfectly fine on my Note 4 & don't need to connect to wi-fi, since I have 4g LTE unlimited data (Cricket w)

It's just stop working now I can't see whats going on in my house

Battery drainer, crashes like crazy. No more Lorex products for me.

It works better than Ping2. Please improve Ping and delete Ping2.

Last update ruined it. Galaxy s5 won't work on cell connection. Keep rebooting my phone.

My 250.00 spent on lorex ip cameras has been wasted thanks to this so called upgrade. Crashes, never works.

On Android N Beta not loading camera views, not functioning at all...

Does not work with this version. Purchased 6 camera's and will not work on my cell phone.......very mad at this point

Bad investment if they cannot support there hardware. Do not buy LNC250 product.

Keeps going off line, or says disconnected. Any one have this trouble. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Doesn't work when on my 4G ...reboots my SG5. Please fix!!

So it streams the video and does the 2way audio, triggering on motion pir etc. In short, it's not pretty (an ios port, sadly) but it undeniably works.

It doesn't work, after updating can't connect cameras,what is point having app that doesn't work which makes already bad LNC204 and 216 cameras worthless. Thank you Lorex for seling !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Now it causes Samsung S5 phone to reboot.

Update. Got new Note 7. Open App and I just get a black screen. $800 of useless cameras. Going to contact credit csrd company to get reimbursement. If the App doesnt work, product is useless. 9/18/16. What happened with these updates! Everything worked fine until updates. Now if I turn my phone to landscape the screen goes black and crashes. $500 worth of cameras should work perfectly.

I would not recommend this app simply because I CANNOT INSTALL IT ON MY TABLET! What the heck, man?! Lorex is obviously sayin', "You can watch your surveillance video from anywhere, or oops, maybe just your PHONE!" Not to mention the time delays, poor video quality, and CONSTANTLY losing connection. I'm so sad.

After giving it a try, the 159 people who gave this a one star rating speaks volumes to this really poor product. If looking to buy, don't waste your time or money. The developers have given up on this app compeltly. Lorax developers are completely lost and are mailing it it. They do not care about making a useful product and have successfully figured out how to steal people's money. New lorax 2 app unstable and is unusable.

Now we get a popular to upgrade every time we open the app to an app that does not even work with my camera. Please remove the population as compatibility is not good in the new app.

Update schedule never works. Have to delete and then recreate a new one.

Hey lorex ive just bought two of your cameras was working fine and now it continues to say camera offline i have a galexy s7 so please work on this application please spent about $200 on your cameras i expect good results , or i could just return these and go buy one at walmart or something for cheaper and possibly better thank you.

Reliability seems to be the issue. Tried to update the firmware, but when it starts to download it just disappears and you have to restart the app. Can't seem to update any of the cameras but 1.

Crashes on any attempt to add a camera. I would love my money back. Actually, I would just like to have what I paid for...

This app constantly loses connection every 5 seconds. The PC app L-view works great. Good camera poor Android software. Need an update Lorex. The, Lorex, couldn't care less. Poor support.
