Slide - Free

The process us quite troublesome but the result is smooth and nice. It definitely acts like your wacom drawing board. First I had to get a new updated driver for my nexus 5 then I went to storage---threedots--usbcomputerconnection-- and checked media. That way with my USB plugged in I was able to connect. THEN I wasn't able to access the app on my laptop but that was because of my firewall. I check allow home network and then after that everything worked fine. Took me hours! To figure this out!

Please. Please reply me! This app seems really promising! But I've installed this app on both my laptop and phone. I've done all the instruction, but it doesn't seem to work. Whenever I click on the app on my laptop. It asks for my password and when I write down my password it says 'Slide has been updated to v2.54' and it closes the app. I might follow the instructions wrongly. Help me pls!

After making some changes, I finally got it to work. -1 star for the setup complexity and -1 star for the limited functionality.

Hello!, I installed slide both in my PC and my Samsung S5, I want it to connect Via Wi-Fi but the Slide Program says "No Devices Connected, Scanning For Devices" How do I fix this?, Thanks!

The desktop companion app doesnt work (I'm on Windows 10), nothing happens when I run it normally or as administrator...the stand alone jar works but can't detect my phone (Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime), I've installed kies and the usb driver but still no changes whatsoever, it didnt work; the desktop stand alone jar can't detect anything. Two stars for wasted time and emotions. This is a promising app but sadly won't work for me :(

unfortunately it keeps stopping so i really cant do anything with it, im sure its a good app so Im giving it 3 stars anyway.

nice free app. any plan for screen mirroring? to make it like astropad/wacom cintiq? will buy paid version for that feature, to be used with galaxy tab a 10 inch with s pen + Windows desktop

I tried to connect my HTC NEXUS9 to a windows PC. But, I keep getting message - "Slide Free has stopped".

It does everything it says it will do but the free version isnt worth the download without absolute positioning. All this does is make your phone/tablet a glorified track pad

Works for my graphics needs (Photoshop/Illustrator). The only problem I had is the USB detection on the Desktop application. It worked after a few tries. It's not necessary though because working over LAN is just as reliable. I wish I could see the work I'm doing on my desktop on my Android screen but I understand that's not very feasible bandwidth wise.

It's more accurate than any other one I've tried on my note 3 and works fine in photoshop and as a general mouse but when I try to use it in illustrator it works for a few seconds than the app crashes on my phone... I've seen others have similar problems. Maybe an issue with Windows 10?

Hi! Very nice app! I have found a possible solution to the common failure for this to work with many windows applications like photoshop. I narrowed the problem down to running a program with admin privileges. Turn off admin privileges and it works fine. Hope this helps.

First when i tried to connect with LAN it says "could not connect via LAN, disable any intefering software, and when i try through USB mouse cursor dissapears, the PC freezes and the reboots. If i get an awnser and help i might BE happier with the product

For some reason it stopped working yesterday. The desktop application doesn't launch correctly. It says "< was unexpected at this time" and then closes. Edit: I realized I can open this directly with the .jar file. Back to 5 stars from me :)

This looks like it could be good if I could get it to run. When ever I try to start the PC application, I get the message that "An instance of Slide is already running" but nothing shows up in Task Manager or in the System Tray. Help would be very much appreciated!

I can't get it working in my computer. When I try and open it it opens cmd then notepad and does nothing

Amazing app, the mouse seems to lag when you press down too long.(i play osu with this) but other then that. Nice job.

But i cant seem to get it working on my laptop (Win 8) it dosint even open when i try and opening as administrator dosint work either

The app is just give me option my tablet is connect to the pc and the slide driver it opened and saying samsung,,,,, is connected but what next

Please disable any interfering software then try again.........what does it mean? What software? i disabled firewall and avira. What else?. How do i connect via USB? As alternative?

After trying to install java 3 times and restarting, it still says i have to install java. Dont know whats wrong.

I want to use this but don't know how to compile on windows...

No work on pc(fixed) I just recently updated to windows 10 and it works fine now.

It works fine but it doesn'tregister the movements precisely. If you fix this 5/5 from me!

I got this so I can use my phone like a graphics tablet and it would be good if someone on the project could slow it down--the mouse moves too fast for me to draw accurately and I have it set at the slowest setting. Please fix.

I got it all installed and it appeared to work perfectly. I only downloaded it to see if I could use it to work in photoshop but as soon as I open photoshop, it stops working until I reconnect

since I already had the full android SDK installed i just downloaded the jar version of slide from the website and it worked just fine on my win7 system. I'm using my old tab2 7.0. One thing I did notice though is under windows even when the app was running my system proprieties Windows still said no pen or touch input is available for this display. I would guess that the pro version might support malty touch but I'm not positive. PS dont forget to disable USB debugging when your not actively going to be using it as it is never a good idea to leave it enabled when your not using it. So in short after you finish using the tablet etc fully exit the app and close the server on the desktop then on the tab disable USB debugging. then when you wish to use it again dont forget to enable USB debugging.

I have every thing set up right, but after I got it to work the first time, it won't move my mouse when I did it a second time. The app starts up fine, connects to my tablet through LAN, and even writes on my tablet, but the app on my desktop won't say anything if I press alt+A. I can't get it to work again!

I downloaded Slide on both my phone and desktop but whenever I open it on my computer, it just shows me some codings then it will load. When it reaches to 100%, it just opens my winrar.

The slide launcher for some reason doesn't work. Had to open the jar file manually before it worked. Everything on the server side works.

I was hoping that something like this was out there, and I'm surprised how well it works. I would like to see the whole idea done via Bluetooth. Do that and it'll be perfect.

Even when plugged in it only connects through wifi. Also the description says absolute positioning, but the app only allows relative. Still a great app, but I'll continue using the old version I have backed up!

This app working greatly.When I play Osu! Pc game, I did not experience any lag issues at all. Keep it up.

So, I'm having some issues when I try to connect my tablet to my PC. I try to connect and it tells me "Could not connect over LAN". I'm not the greatest when it comes to things like this. Haha. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Something I forgot to download? Would really like to use this program but for now I will wait until I get some help. :) Thanks.

The exe. File for the pc fails. Just a continues loop of sadness. Emailed them so far no response.
