Mumble for Android
All credit to these guys: pcgod, Rantanen, xZise, verterok, resba, argyleref, masalm, Ryan-Myers. (and any other contributers)
Supports: Accesstokens! =)
*I did this mostly cause I wanted Mumble with accesstokens, and thought maybe other ppl might want it too. Due to comments on "stolen-app", I will not finish my try on certificates. glhf*
(Update does work for S5 you need to hold the window button to bring up the menu. App didnt update just didnt know holding window key would work)have update My friend and I have this for computer so we can chat with our guild and found out i could get it for my phone but i cant add a server with the menu cause there isnt a menu i can goto to do that with on the S5....please fix!!
So I downloaded and it's telling me to use the menu button to add a server. The problem is the menu button does not appear anywhere on the galaxy s7 edge. Hope to see this fixed soon.. and when it is fixed I will fix the rating.
Hard to use when you have many channels. Push to talk gets stuck if you accidentally rotate your device while pressing it (surprisingly easy). Better apps exist see Plumble
Used to use this almost religiously on my SSG3. When I switched phones and upgraded, I figured Id have a much cleaner or smoother connection. Also thought it would work better. Turns out the newer the product, the worse it gets. Not compatible with Note 5 or Note 6. Severly disappointed. Uninstalled the app because it was wasted space to have a app that is no longer useful.
The technology is brilliant. Easy to connect with a lot of other people. I simply love it! But there is a bit of a learningcurve. The user interface should look and feel more like Skype. Wire already did this with great success. Also, one idea would be to add a new feature: Creating a qr-code or link, on-the-fly, that peers can share with oneanother, that instantly get them into the right server and chatroom. So that n00bies do not have to fiddle around with settings manually, as this is offputting to alot of people.
Cannot add servers on my Verizon Samsung galaxy s5 sm-900v. Currently running 4.4.4 will rate 5 again when it works. Probably just needs an update.
Asks me to use the menu key... THERE IS NO MENU KEY. tried all combinations of physical button presses and holds. It simple does not function.
I've had mumble in the past, but it appears as though it doesn't work with the new android update. If there is a solution for a work around please let me know.
Don't get me wrong: I'm glad this exists. It's been pretty convenient for me...except for the fact that it errors and shuts down on me at least twice per session (and by "session," I'm talking two hours). It's REALLY aggravating when you're in the middle of something and have to scramble to start it again!
I was so screwed I don't have a PC and I play Final Fantasy on my on my ps3, they have switched the server to Opus sound or whatever and this app does not support it apparently. I would love to see that support for opus on mumble. Please add I will donate.
I can't add a server on my app. It says use menu to add a server but I have no menu. I would love to use the app.... I use mumble on my laptop all the time to play my online games, and I like to keep chatting with my friends when I travel, so it would be nice if you could fix this.
It would be nice to try out this app, however as an owner of an HTC One, I don't have a dedicated home button. Therefore I can't create a New server . I find it strange there's no added functionality for that, as thats a rather unusual way to work. Most apps have some kind of toggle within the software without depending on hardware. Either way, would love to see this change that way I can use it.
... The app requires that I hit "the menu button" to add a server. I am on a ZenFone 2, there is no such button. Pretty huge oversight here imo, makes it totally unusable.
Ive been using this app for many months and it was a really good way of talking to your friends on mumble on andriod. But one day I tried to open the app and it keeps saying "Unfortunately, Mumble has stopped" over and over again. I have no idea what happened because this app was working fine before and now it doesnt want to open!! Then I tried to uninstall and reinstall mumble but it kept saying the same thing and would not open
Thank you for the free app. It does the job when its not crashing. Avg time before crash 4-5 mins. Ps. 5.0.1 is unstable as well.
It simply doesn't work on the s5 because of the menu function. Seems a simple enough fix to add a menu to the app, but until then it's worthless
Plumble is a the app that Mumble suggests for Android users on their wiki. Try that. It is far more upto date and works with cert verifications. This app was a great thing when it was released though and it was much appreciated too.
No certificate support, which is essential for many servers. Interface is clunky. Settings are OK but somewhat lacking. OK for free. It works and does it's basic tasks reliably. But there are better options like Plumble.
I connected and I can see the people. They can hear me but I can't hear them. I have already checked all of the preferences and options to look for the problem but ... I'm disappointed in this app

It ask me to fill in the server address, but it doesnt have any menu button to press. So technically just a logo of that mumble with nothing to press ...
I am trying to connect but it continues to say that I can't because I require a certificate in order to connect to this server... Why? It never connected either prior to the update.. I hope someone can get things straightened out! EDIT: Thanks Peter. To the maker of this app, I hope you will finish the certificate part because that is probably the only thing standing in the way of it working for me ><..! Good luck and thank you in advanced :)
Galaxy Alpha user here. As others have stated - no menu button on phone. Can't understand how difficult it would be to code in a menu button in the UI. Shoddy programming. Don't waste your time with this app.
Can't hear people most times. Pixelated voice, and push to talk only. Check out pumble. It's much better and still free, but I would recommend the donation version.
Right after I finish installing it it says the press Menu to add server but there is no menu button the app does not work properly its crap don't download this useless broken app
Sometimes I don't know if anyone can hear me and I text it out and no one can and need s done of the same features as ios
I have an android tablet and it says to press the menu button to add a server... one problem there is no menu button on the screen and I don't have a menu button on my tablet
Used to work great now it force closes immediately every time I open it . tried uninstalling and reinstalling and no fix
Really like being able to use mumble away from the computer. Could use the addition of admin abilities and hopefully certificates can be added in a future release(though I understand why they aren't in at the moment). Overall a great alternative to using my PC for mumble. Have never had issues with mobile.
I love mumble on my computer..I met all my friends on it!! Then I tried to get on from my LG, the server requires a Cerifacet, but I can't find out were to make one on a LG....if you know how please respond somehow...And if you are viperwizard and/or Helopoh, Oreocat2012, Or Radioava and Cani and so a many more......HIIIII.....Btw if you are them I am Tinkerella04.
This is an okay app. My main problem is, is that I no longer have a "menu" button to add servers. :[ My Galaxy S3 died, so I picked up a Samsung Avant. It no longer has a menu button. Just a switch between recent tabs button. :[ My Free Company uses mumble, so now I can't get in to chat with then about static stuff and dungeons :[

This app is dead, last updated: Jan 12, 2013. Get Plumble, active development, and it's also much better.
You need to make the layout cleaner (text is too large and the background is too messy), and the way you navigate through channels better. The way the app Pumble let's you switch channels easily is very nice, its exactly like the actual mumble client, which is exactly what you should go for.
Experienced a lot of lag between not only myself but other parties as well. Half the time everyone is a robot. If there is more than 4 people in a room, it will freeze and then try to load everything at once and I end up with six different conversations going at once. If PTT is pressed multiple times the app force closes. I normally end up getting dc 'd at least 6 times a day. Not sure if it's just my note 3 or android in general.
The title says it all. The app is terrible but there is no better option. Mumble is open-source, somebody please make a working application that doesn't have repeatable bugs and glitches. Never mind the awful interface.
Just upgraded from a galaxy s3 to an LG g3. There's no menu button now. Had it on my s3. Love the app otherwise. Will update when fixed
This app worked great with my galaxy s3 because it had a menu button but now i have the galaxy s5 and there is no menu button on this phone so i cant add any servers

Doesn't work. The menus are lower on the screen than what I can see, it's like the app was expecting me to have 2 more inches of screen. Also, the push to talk is right on top of the channels, so I end joining other channels rather than taking half of the time. This app is hands down the best way to communicate on pc with voice, wish I could use it on my phone too
