Lookout Security Extension

You need to make it to where this app. Doesn't affect the connection speed at all... I dont want to have to wait for my browser to load keep to keep my phone safe. Especially when im paying for the app. Fix that please. Youre getting paid by millions. Invest some of that money into fixing that issue and your retention will be a much better percentage. Which will create a lot more revenue. That should be your main objective.

When my husband and i say look for for phone it tell us tht our phone can't be located. Also, we got a email tht says for lookout tht sim card is stolen and the last time cell phone have been seen was in 2014 and give us a location where both is at. Now i pay 2.99 month for wat nothing and not happy. Our phone is always either us always and we getting email about sim card miss, can't locate our phone and when i send a sign for a phone scream it does not do it. Use to work good very good but not just font do

I have both the Lookout Antivirus and Security App, as well as, the Lookout Security Extension App on my Android phone... a Samsung Galaxy ON 5 Cell Phone and I'm sure glad I do!!! I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!!!! It has kept me safe ever sense I installed the Extension. The Lookout program came with the phone, so I subscribed to the Premium version and have had no regrets doing so!!

It's catching things, I was told by a Dr friend to get it that he's used it for a long time. I do believe it's worth trying. Nothing is perfect in this world. What I see is realiability and 100% effort and that makes it close to perfect. You still need to use Google offerings as well due to the age we live in! Between the two I feel safe. I advise anyone not to put your life in your electronics.

I like the app. Awesome backup, locater, and theft photo and notification. The reason for only four stars is due to no notice or explanation of why app icon disappeared and Guardian icon shows on phone now. And per the app store, this app is also tied to a third Lookout app. This app is for safe browsing on Chrome. But, why did the lookout app disappear and the Guardian app appeared. This needs to be explained under all three apps information section.

This app does not work properly. I cannot go on the web without having to disconnect or reload pages. It always says i do not have a connectio and check my connection. Annoying!

Well I accidentally pressed skip whenever it is about a payment and then it said something about T-Mobile billing and I don't want this to be on her phone bill because she doesn't need this if it's a paid app she has the free one and that's enough do I just uninstall the extension or is there still going to be something on her bill and not sure what to do I just want to get off and off of her bill but I don't see any options for that and extension or settings

Don't know how in the he-- it has such a high star rating but anyways, Well I liked that it helps you stay safe but it would constantly stop my pages from loading where I would have to pull down to resins my phone some times 4 or 5 times before it would load the page, so if it wasn't load a page up that can mean 2 things , it's super slow or it don't work. I closed it down and Uninstaller. Really wish it would've worked.

It won't let me go to any website. It's always saying lost connection to the host or check your internet connection check your modem blah blah then If go into the VPN setting and say forget then I can go onto the web uninstalled

Lookout vpn extension sucks because it causes my Google chrome and app to page crash no matter what I look up. Took hrs to figure out what causes it. It shows network error or page unable to load. So I have uninstalled it & take my chances with Google alone. Lookout used to be a great service and I want it back. 2 starts in the hope that it will return to the once great service.

When I purchased my very first smartphone, a HTC Thunderbolt, this Lookout app was pre-installed. I didn't like having pre-installed anything period. But after awhile I tried it. And it's been extremely helpful. Several apps ended up being a bail bondsman company. I've been using Lookout ever since.

Had horrible issues with browser redirects on Chrome, so installed this. Caused a lot of issues with pages having to be reloaded due to not loading at all the first time, or loading in an un-formatted way. BUT my browser redirect ads stopped 100%, so I could live with page loading probs. Except three or four days ago redirects started coming back like crazy, don't know why, but it's annoying as **** :/ make it work right, then five stars, otherwise no thanks.

I appreciate the security improvements as a premium customer. It would be nice however, to have a full VPN as the school I spend time at blocks most VPN providers. I am sure this VPN will work when I am there, as most are blacklisted by IT staff when discovered. A fully functional VPN would unblock apps like Spotify at the school.

While suffering on Web pop up n ads not blocked by lookout. I am premium user so please add this facility as without this your application is incomplete

For a while now I've had metro pcs phones that í paid device protection for every month that came with this app and it always worked great for free loved it. Until last month. Now this new extension that had been in the works for God knows how long came in to play. Now I don't even have access to the website because it doesn't know who I am. I tried resetting my password multiple times but to no avail. It's a bunch of horseshit. Now í can't find old pics, old numbers, or old messages. Thanks for nada.

Previously when I downloaded the "Lookout Security Extension" it worked "OK" with Wi-Fi, but did not work at all with Data. Now, it works "GREAT" with [both]❗ Than Q, 4 fixing the problem. Keep up the good work in making the app much better [now and in the future]❗

Didn't work as well for me. The little icon appeared for a moment, then dissappeared. I went to a known site which has given warnings before with other security apps. Didn't get a tingle or anything from this one. The VPN attachment is probably unreliable. Uninstalled it because of unreliability.

It slows down web pages by a lot it takes a few seconds to load pages sometimes. Other times the page will not even loading correctly so you would have to reload the page. It's not really horrible but it's not great either

VPN stops Chrome from loading completely, constantly turns itself back on after I cancel the scan, so I'd get about one page of browsing for work clothes and it would either cause the site to forget my search filters (I just wanted a little black dress) or stop responding completely. So I went in and disabled it, because I didn't want to have to delete it entirely, but now it brings up a pop up just as incessantly asking me to turn it back on.

Many web pages do not load when this is enabled, yielding a blank screen. If I disconnect the VPN, and refresh, the page loads normally. This happens so frequently, I have decided to disable this "feature".

I only have one problem, I have put a screen lock on my phone . I can't get rid of it. It is eating up my phone battery each time I unlock it for emails. Driving me up the Freaking wall. I tried to remove the lock and it won't let me. Help

This app eats up your data like crazy. If your data is limited like mine, don't get this app. I'm going to have to uninstall. Sure hope I don't have a big problem uninstalling like most of you have!

Cannot trust. Lookout claims my device is scanned safe & secure but in truth crashes every single time a scan is attempted! Very, very upset at the deception & cannot trust this either now.

I was having big problems with the app and after I requested help, Ryan, from support staff responded immediately and helped me fix the issue immediately. I am so happy with this app and mostly, the incredibly helpful support. And really, that's what it's all about!

Not to many apps can say they have stayed true to their cause, been and are consistent, and has only improved since day one like these guys can.

At first it seems good, but it essentially does nothing. Actual phishing and malware sites are not marked, who knows why, but legitimate sites get marked as bad. Wikileaks is marked as malware. Doesn't stop intrusive ads. Slows down Chrome to almost a standstill. Maybe in the future it will work better. Uninstall. Edit: After uninstalling, I'm getting intrusive full screen ads to reinstall.

1) downloaded this and was wondering what would it do? Came to find out that it does nothing. 2) when using my browser it actually slows the loading process down. 3) removed it from my play store and everything now runs smooth.

I searched all though porn sites clicking on ads and dangerous stuff on purpose and still lookout just let me. At first lookout was really looking out now it's too relaxed.

I'm not sure which one is making the pop up but ... everytime I open something a pop up keeps saying that I need to have lookout enabled which has been for since I got this phone and downloaded this app

Sounded useful but it seemingly randomly activates or doesn't activate so never consistently protecting. Seems to cause problems with many sites even Google! Tired of failure messages and wondering why my network connection isn't working only to find that it has yet again self activated (about 1/4 of connections/time) and that's why a major site has failed. CV Temporarily disable it and legitimate sure work again. Uninstalling. Fix it and give us settings to control even permanently off/on Lookout!

Horrible app and Lookout is deleting my comments because I'm telling people the truth about this spyware app. All it wants to do is spy on you and slow your internet speed way down. I'm sure that the CIA will make Lookout delete this comment but I know what the CIA is up to. I've seen what is in Vault 7 and it will not work on me, maybe some of the more gullible who don't know how to protect themselves on the internet it will work on but not if I have a say in the matter. Damn you have paid alot of people to lie about your app, shame on you. Come at me bro!

VPN Made Web Browsing A Nightmare on my phone. Experiencing lots of unable to reach website messages, lots of latencies, having to inconveniently disconnect, etc. Dropping app from 5 stars to 2 stars until my concerns are resolved.

Another great part of the lookout mobile security. It did ask once if I wanted to turn this off but stated my VPN that runs thru lookout would no longer be on, so I left this on and so far so good things are working great and I still get notification that my browsing is protected by lookout. Can't ask for more. Great job guys keep up the good work and I hope to see more clever add ons in the feature. Great job DEVS !!!!!!!

My phone is so well protected home safe browsing to lost her phone or her phone I could get it back I could find out where it is there's nothing that this Outlook can do or there's nothing he can do further as far as I know to make me feel as secure as I am with the phone and the protection of you know anybody trying to steal my Identity or anything I think this product is phenomenal.

My phone started acting slow as soon as I downloaded this extension. apps wouldn't open, screen went black etc..

I downloaded this app because I started having problems with my phone. Ads just started coming on my screen and even this app couldn't stop that and the funny thing is that it "didnt" find anything wrong with it
