Make My Day

Great concept for planning daily itineraries - however I bought the book for £5.99 but to unlock the app for the same city (Barcelona) I've got to pay another 79p (yes, it's not loads I realise). Instead I'll probably unlock all the European cities for £2.50 and just not bother getting the books...

I bought the book (London) and tried to use the code in the book to unlock the London part of the app but it didn't work, tried contacting support with no response. Waste of time.

I've bought the book so why should I pay again to access the same information on my phone. Not impressed.

When all is said and since, this is a good companion for the book, but it doesn't replace it. I was very much hoping to be able to customise experiences, but the so locks me in to set times of day. For instance, I can only go to Meiji Jingu shrine in the morning. It's not the end of the world, by any means, but it also means that I can't use the app as a bare bones itinerary, while in country. I know I can just transfer it into Google docs ... But I feel like this app should be replacing that kind of thing.

Add more cities tho please and I will rate 5 stars

There are only 13 x 3 things to do in any of the 6 cities and unlocking didn't add any more

Own the book so downloaded the app but couldn't get free content as book promised

It is a great app for the main cities but it would be even better if you could choose your city and add your own suggestions too.

Way too restricted in both cities and sites but the maps showing relative locations and connecting routes is a fantastic presentation. Would immediately be 12 star with ability to input my own sites since it would replace 5 apps I used getting around London last year.

I downloaded it because it said it was free in a Make My Day Guide I bought but once browsing the app I discovered I needed to pay to reveal some parts... Very disappointed!
