Fast Track Driving Log Free

It does its job and does it well but beware, of anything happens to it yer outta luck. It doesn't back up anything at all. Just lost 35 hours worth of driving time for my kid. I kept a log on paper too so no worries but if you depend on this app, well, good luck.

Seems ok, no bells and whistles...at all. I'd love to be able to add notes, not just titles. You know, "curb check leaving store" or "failed to yield right of way" or "practiced emergency stopping with 90% accuracy." Also entering the actual start and stop time on manual entries would be helpful. To be honest, if I could find something that did the job better, I'd likely lower the score to 3 stars for this app, it's not great. 4 stars only because there really isn't much out there that is better. Also, you CAN back-up files just fine...maybe you couldn't a year ago. Not sure.

My only problems with this app is when I pause my time and come back a hour or so later my previous time have vanished and the other issue is it doesn't distinguish between day and night. Other than that it's a good app to use to log your hours in order to get your license.

For the most part it does a good job. I wish I could select "night" without having to edit a log. It would be a great asset if it would also separate day and night hours up front, instead it only gives the total combined. I also have to export it weekly and email the log to myself in case the phone crashes.

I just got the iPhone 7 and I cannot find the app in the AppStore. Can I get it on iOS or should I keep this phone for tracking the times?

It's honestly a good app to log with. But I got a new phone and re-downloaded it, hoping all my stuff would still be there, but no. It doesn't back it up and I lost 50 hours worth of drive time. So now, I have to do it all over again to take my road test.

The app didn't log my hours at all even though I would always time my results.

About halfway through my timing I lost the description of my driving times

There's a good idea here but it's not ready for prime time. Revisit your primary use cases and make sure the work flows are rock solid. When I stop recording, the session should be saved to the log automatically and labeled with the date/time. The only two inputs that should be required for normal operation are to start the session and then to stop it when it's over. The saving and naming of the log entry should be automatic.

I wish it would tell total nighttime and day hours

I broke the screen on my Note 4 and had to get a replacement phone. When I got my new Note 4 and downloaded the app, all of the data I kept on my son was gone. I have lost all of my recorded my recorded logging.

An import or recovery option would be nice. I had to reset my phone and app no longer has previous data. I did an export before rest luckily but no way to reimport the file.

This was a fantastic app that I used every time I drove, but I think it has a glitch. I had 15 hours logged on the app and out of the blue the hours that I had logged and that I needed turned into crazy long numbers. It will not fix itself. I will have to transfer all my logs into a different profile. Very frustrated.

Samsung Galaxy S4:: When I have the app paused then try to start it again it deletes the info driving time from before it was paused. Aside from having to manually change to "night" or "Rain, Snow", app works fine if you don't have to pause it.

Just found one major issue with this program... External backup. My previous phone suffered a violent, untimely demise and needed replaced. Unfortunately, I'm not able to retrieve the data from the previous phone and it's not accessible through the Cloud. This needs to be remedied.

I thought it was great until I started the timer for a 6 hour trip and logged 403,651 hours instead. Besides this, it's great!

Check your spelling of "manually".

I will update to 5 stars if you will fix the day/night drop-down to show when recording a drive. It appears to only show up when editing or adding drives manually.

My son has all his hours and we have tried to download to the excel spreadsheet but we can't get it. We have gone into the store to get help and still nothing. Is there anything that can be done?

Not bad

When you add or edit a time, it doesn't use word wrap. There are huge blocks of empty space on some fields. But overall, it works well for timing drives. It's very helpful.

Awesome app for logging hours. This is just what I was looking for to track my hours without writing it on a paper

This app is easy and straightforward. Simply hit the Record button while driving and when you're done, it logs the time spent driving, the weather conditions, night/day driving, percentage completed and cumulative hours. Exactly what we needed to record teen driving time requirements (40 hours, plus 10 nighttime hours).

Great App for tracking my daughters driving. Needs to have option to choose night drive on dashboard, can only do it now if you manually enter the time.

This is a great app for keeping good track of driving time. The interface is very easy to use, and logs are easy to read. Overall highly recommend.
