USM PKN STAN adalah ujian yang harus dilewati oleh pendaftar Politeknik Keuangan Negara STAN agar bisa diterima menjadi mahasiswa/mahasiswi PKN STAN. USM sendiri merupakan kependekan dari Ujian Saringan Masuk. USM PKN STAN terbagi menjadi 3 tahapan ujian, yaitu:
tes tertulis;
tes kesehatan dan kebugaran;
Tes Kemampuan Dasar (TKD).
Untuk tes tertulis terdiri dari 120 soal Tes Potensial Akademik dan 60 soal Tes Bahasa Inggris (TBI). Waktu yang diberikan untuk mengerjakan soal TPA adalah 100 menit dan untuk soal TBI adalah 50 menit. Jadi, untuk mengerjakan 1 soal diperlukan waktu kurang dari 1 menit.
