About LogAccel
Just hit the green play button and that´s it! You are logging all accelerometer data!!!
Simplest tool to log the accelerometer data straight from your Android device sensor.
Features:
• Live data in dysplay during sampling;
• Log in background during multi-task activities;
• Save as TXT the log file;
• Read with your third-party file reader the last log file;
• Send file by e-mail using your third-party e-mail app;
• Set sample rate.
Hints:
- The accelerometer log data file is saved in "LogAccel_Export" folder located in your device's internal memory.
- The accelerometer sensor data strings are separated by space.
- The accelerometer sensor data are automatically logged the fastest sample rate available by your device sensor (SENSOR_DELAY_FASTEST).
- The X Y and Z device accelerations are normalized by SI gravity (1g is exactly 9.80665 m/s2 or around 32.174 ft/s2, 21.937 mph/s).
- Load accelerometer sensor data in your favorite sheet software/app for graphical plot! Copy the file from your device to your computer and load data with proper import options.

Straight to the point! As you open the app, it starts running and you only have to press "play" to start logging. My suggestions: 1) it would be great to control the sample rate; 2) there is a small bug generating the file: in the first line, second column there is a space in the word "accel _x", that cause problems when you import the data using excel and 3) it would be great if the app shows the saturation levels of the accelerometers of your device.
