While the app itself may work, creating the word lists in Logos is a nightmare. Importing words with a prepared morphology is easy enough. The headache starts when you want to make changes or add information. Every single change takes way too long to save. Forget about making all your changes first and then saving. It automatically goes through the process of saving after each single change you make to any field. Waiting several seconds for it to save may not sound like a big deal; but imagine not being able to do anything (quite literally) with the file until the saving is over. Now think of a list with a hundred or more words in it, each having several fields. Now add up all the down-time for each field. It's like Chinese water torture. As far as I'm concerned, manipulating a word list is nonfunctional, which makes this app useless for my purposes.

RS.

They shouldnt even have this app if they aren't willing to upkeep it and improve it. Awesome concept, but embarrassingly bad performance.

Thank you for creating this for us. This app is useful and eases the process of importing the biblical language wordlist from desktops into smartphones. Since this app could play the audio of the wordlist, I think it will be great if the audio file can be played automatically once a new biblical word is turned to. I believe this feature will help a lot the students who learn by listening instead by merely reading.

Great app, I was skeptical about downloading it because of negative reviews at first but the lack of Greek Flashcard/vocabulary apps kind of forced me to do so. Come to find out this app is so much better than the reviews (idk if it's new fixes to all the complaints or what). You can make your own vocab list, download one from the community on faithlife, which I've done to accompany my Mounce BBG (Basics of Biblical Greek) studying, and you can also make a vocab list from certain texts you have in logos.

Great app for drilling vocabulary. User community has pre built word lists that are easy to import.

I can't find the flashcardsto download. I pressed the + button and a pop up window says learn more. I clicked on learn more and it takes me to a page that can't be found. Not good logos, where do I now go for the flashcards?

Might be a great app, but it crashes every time I attempt to open it.

Needs option to be able to reverse white and dark colors to save battery life.

N70%

Needs the ability to shuffle the words so the word's position in the list is not a factor in memorization.

Can't really say much about it.... because it won't let me use it.

R70%

The style of this app and the ability to generate custom word lists is fantastic. The fonts are very readable and interaction is intuitive. However, all of that is wasted because the app has absolutely no way to randomize the cards, remember where you left off, or calculate which words you still have trouble with. Memorizing long lists of words in order is not a good way to learn vocabulary.

I love logos, but this product is NOT ready for release and compared to Anki it shouldn't even be called a flashcard app. If Anki is the Ferrari among the flashcard apps, then this, unfortunately, is not much more than a flat tire at the moment. Logos, we all know you can do better.

it's just blank - there is no app here. So i downloaded the logos software to my desktop but there is no method to create lists for the app there - it's a myth!

It's great to be able to make word lists in Logos to sync to the app, great to have pronunciation possibility in the app. But it is still a bit lacking in basic features, most importantly the possibility to shuffle your cards. 5 stars if that's added!

I understand this would be put on the back burner with Logos 6 coming out, but it's still pretty bad when it crashes every time I try to load my Greek flashcards. Shame, could be useful but I'll have to stick with AnkiDroid.

The content is actually good, but the GUI is a little confusing and not very user-friendly.

I have this on the iPhone as well. Must admit iPhone app is much better. It shoes the stacks and you don't start at the beginning every single time. The audio button also works better on iPhone. I like logos but this is app needs a lot of work

Finally Logos came out with their own flash card system!! Excellent tool, easy to use

Every time I try to open the app, it crashes. It attempts to load, but never gets there. Very disappointing.

N70%

Starts at the beginning every time. Unable to create word lists by frequency. Doesn't sort the words you do know from the words you don't.

A long time supporter becoming more and more disappointed with this company's poor ethics. If you are distributing alpha software or are looking for beta testers, then say so. Instead of a new gym at work, maybe employ someone to quality control your releases.

First some positives - this app syncs very nicely with the vocab list collection from my desktop. The ability to quickly create a list and start working on it straight away is very good. The pronunciation feature is quite nice however; given the power of Logos software in so many other areas this is a disappointingly simplistic tool. As a few others have mentioned the lack of any way to gradually filter a list down to the hard cards while learning vocab it is a pretty essential feature. Pretty much every other vocab program I've ever tried has some system for flag problematic cards and creating sub lists. Or are we all misunderstanding how the app works? Does it automatically filter them after a while? A second issue is the system of flicks required to navigate the app. This is cute to begin with but seems like a short cut to RSI if I were to use this for any serious study... A third issue; why is there a plus symbol on the home screen that looks like it should be for creating new cards? It doesn't do anything except tell me that I need to use my computer to do that. The button is just unnecessary and confusing.

I was really excited to see this app, but unfortunately it crashes on load for me so I can't use it at all. And not being able to move this app to SD card is an issue for me since I don't have that much space on my phone....

I love this app, whenever I have a spare minute I can pull this out and review. However, there are 3 things that would make this app outstanding. 1) There needs to be a shuffle option, after the 5th time through the set I am remembering the order more than learning the word. 2) A "Resume from where you left off" option, in stead of automatically starting from the beginning each time. 3) A "Skip words you're confident with" option for the times I just want to go over the words I haven't clicked "got it" on.

N70%
by N####:

I want to update this to a 5 rating (Logos team please let this happen). The only thing I want to see improve is being able to isolate note cards I haven't "learned" yet when I come back to that deck. It's good that the program isolates these during a session, but if I close the app and come back later I have to go through all the cards again. To simulate the flashcard experience better the app should be able to isolate the unlearned words first and/or give an option to practice only these unlearned words.

A large program at 24 MB -- one of the largest of all the programs on my phone -- before any word lists are loaded, and it doesn‘t let me move it from phone memory to the SD card. I don‘t think I‘ll even try downloading the word lists.
