UE BOOM

I have a UE BOOM 1, Ever since I updated it can't wirelessly turn on the speaker. It says I have more battery power than I actually do. It went dead today and the app said I had 66% left. I plugged it in let it charge for 45 minutes or so, I checked the app to see how much battery it was charged and it said 73%, then went dead in 5 minutes. Is there a fix for this or is there something I can do to get the older version of the app? P.S the speaker is amazing, I don't watch TV best investment ever 4 me

This speaker is my smartest buy of 2016. if it can survive my lifestyle it's exactly what I was looking for to accompany my adventures. The app makes a perfect supplement when you're looking for the more advanced features. I haven't had any issues with the app. Just keep it and everything else up-to-date and your problems are solved!

Finally the latest update has thankfully fixed most of the major problems incurred previously like remote control access and the lagging of sound when watching videos. So I'm happy now as onceagain it's back to being a very functional speaker with great sound quality! Keep it up

Awesome speaker and worth every penny! Long battery life and durable for any adventure. I've personally taken it on all my trips and never been disappointed by it's reliability. UE has just updated the firmware again. This time removing the sound delay that was present in the previous version. Would recommend to family and friends

Previous version of software for app worked without any issues. Now the music stutters and lags for no apparent reason. Luckily it only happens randomly. Probably 6 times per a song. Annoying and I expected better quality from Logitech. Disappointed in what they're doing with the updates. Killing my enjoyment of the speakers.

I love my ue boom 1 but had problems with the latest update. Ended up having to plug into the computer to finish the update. It wouldn't do it wirelessly from my Samsung phone. Got a 2nd one for xmas but it is very hard work to get them to 'party up'. Took 20 minutes today as the app kept kicking one off.

Do not update if your device works fine, I updated more than 1 month ago and it appeared an uncomfortable sound delay that makes watching videos totally annoying. Also, tapping does not work anymore. Still waiting for a fix, Logitech forums are on fire and nobody from UE say a thing. A shame, giving back the device if they don't fix it soon. Support is a shame.

I have a samsung galaxy and the developers know there's problems but still haven't solved it. I cannot remotely turn on the speaker using this app and tells me to turn on the UE speaker which gets rid of the whole point of being able to turn it on remotely. Also, when I have more than one DJ's connected, I can sometimes be kicked off and a DJ can be fully connected to MY UE speaker. Other than that, the apps features are good such as being able to change the sound specifications, connecting to multiple UE devices, Alarm clock, and being able to change the volume on the app.

I'm actually very good at using technology in general and this app just doesn't work. I cant use the equalizer setting. Won't find other ue booms, even though I have connected to them 1 minute earlier. Won't let me turn on the remote power setting. I look at the help part in the app and makes it seem like everything is automatic. Clearly it isn't and yes I've updated each UE Boom.

The app is decent enough but the equalizer function doesn't work on my Google pixel. The equalizer screen shows up but I am unable to press any of the buttons. All I want is to boost the bass on my boom 2!!

I just purchased the new boom 2 and as soon as i connected it up to bluetooth, it asked me to update firmware, which i did. I also have a roll 2 and my reason for getting the boom was because i wanted to double them up. I have now been told because i updated the firmware i can no longer double up the boom 2 and roll 2. Customer service tell me i cannot revert back to the old firmware either. So i am left with 2 devices that wont sync together. Very unhappy

I personally have the UE Boom 2 but cannot access it, I have a iOS tablet and I keep trying to connect it but it says couldn't pair with speaker because of incorrect pin or key. If you could please tell me I would be more happy and patient. Thank you

After October update 3.5 plug sounds spluttering, lag delay between speakers is different so cant run them together. Megaboom has a crackle. Cant remote power on and randomly switches off. I was using two booms and one megaboom to run a dance workshop. Had to find another system since doing the update they now sound crap out of sinc and are basically useless. Applied latest firmware yesterday seems to have fixed all problems... Watch this space...

Nexus 6P + Boom 2: EQ is not working at all for me. I cant slide or tap anything, there is no reaction. Also, the app says I have 83% battery power which is incorrect as I have been using the speaker all day. And remote power on doesn't work either.... Firmware is up to date, by the way.

This app is terrible! Won't turn on my UE Boom, and consistently shows the wrong battery level. Also, the beep when changing volume during calls is incredibly loud, with no way to attenuate it. If on speaker phone, changes to the earpiece when the call is answered, unless the phone is set to earpiece, when it changes to Bluetooth, and half the time the microphone won't work. There is no way to change the notification volume, which is louder than hell. The equalizer doesn't work at all. How can a product so good have such a poor interface?

1/10/2016: Near impossible to double up. Please fix. 2/29/16: still insanely frustrating to double up. 12/29/16: double up was working great on previous version and since the last update it no longer can find nearby speakers. STOP BREAKING THE APP

For a start, I'm a 38 year old man. Why does the app talk to me like I'm a teenager? Party up? Shut up. Just work. Before, I switched on both speakers and all worked fine. Now I have to swipe and drag and drop and party up with the cools kids. Except it won't work. I can't connect two speakers for the life of me. App is apparently written in gibberish.

I cannot control the equalizer. When opened, I can't move any of the controls. Also, the app won't always register and connect to my boom 2. When I was trying to update, it got to 99% then failed. But when I opened the app back up, it said it was up to date. Not sure if this is why im having problems or not.

NOT user friendly. How this thing passed a board of approval, I have no idea. Hopefully this will be reworked. The speakers sound great, but the app sucks ass. As of now, zero stars, and I would fire the entire staff, top to bottom, that created and signed off on this bullshit.

After the recent series of ui changes and app updates... The remote turn on feature doesnt work... I dont see a power on button in the app even when my bluetooth is turned on. However once i connect to the speaker the old fashion way i do see a remote power off button..... Frustrating

Why is this app not updated already? I can't USA all options and I don't have a computer to update the speaker/app options. Other than that it's a good app I also have the UE mega boom. Can't figure out how to level them up but whatever I'll figure it out sooner of later not important

Every time there's an update I get excited hoping that the app will become at least usable, and it always only gets worse. I own 2 Megabooms, 2 Booms, and 4 Rolls. When I tried updating my Boom and Megaboom speakers through the app I only got to 99% on all 4 and each time got an error message prompting me to update the speakers through USB. Every time I open the app I never get past the "Let's hook up" screen even though the speaker is connected and playing music. Double up and party NEVER work.

Plz fix volume problem. When not playing music and checking battery using speaker, volume shoots up and doesn't let me decrease volume. "Note G beep" when attempted to decrease volume. When playing music everything is back to normal.

Haven't used the app for a while so gave it a try while on vacay...had issues at the start as mentioned in other posts but finally got it to work. Using BlackBerry PRIV and fully functional. Needed to uninstall the app and then reinstall in order for the app to reacquire permissions. Equalizer works, remote on / off works also. These features did not work initially.

Really wish you would have left the automatic double up. Now we have to manually start the second speaker. Also, you took out the lady the tells you how much battery is left when you push + and - at the same time. That sucks. I loved that feature.

PartyUp Sticky doesn't work at all. There's no support. Three years and I've yet to change my 1 star review. I'm still using other apps (hacking, really) to make sure my morning alarm works. I've been having to f* with it for years given effectively mandatory updates. Location for a speaker? These aren't the droids you're looking for, Logitech. The hardware's OK, but not stellar, and its dependence on this abysmal software kills it. I don't want toys, I want tools. Also unchanged: Stupidest $400 I ever spent.

On my Nexus 5X, the only feature that does not work with this app is the equalizer settings - they are stuck on "standard" and I cannot adjust them. Otherwise the volume control works well and the speaker sound itself is great.

Update for UE BOOM. Loved this product. Was considering buying more speakers. This update has turned one of my favourite appliances into a useless ornament! Please fix it. Nothing works. Months later, reinstalled and it's still ruined and does work. Can turn the speaker off remotely but can't turn it on. Very sad upgrade. Wish I could roll back to old version.

How do I get the equalizer to work on my Google pixel. The equalizer button comes up but it's only set on standard and won't let me change anything

I have a Note 5. I only use the app to turn my Boom 2 on/off but since I downloaded this app, when my speaker is connected and playing pandora, it locks my phone down. None of the buttons work and the screen is black. I can't even hard shut down my phone. Once I turn off the speaker, my phone starts working. I will uninstall the app and see if that helps but this is the only change I have made to my phone so it has to be the cause.

This app is the worst. Sometimes it works great, easily finding my speaker and letting me turn it on remotely. Other times, it wants me to manually power on the speaker. When I want to use both of my speakers in stereo mode, often times it takes three or four tries to get the other speaker synced up. Other times, it works just fine for no apparent reason. It's a frustrating app that needs some serious retooling. Please fix it, because I love the speakers.

I wasn't having any problems with this app until the latest update. Now, I can no longer use my app to turn on my speaker - all I get is the "Let's hook up" page. There is also an obvious delay now. Let us go back to the previous version, please?! Edit: since the update I am no longer stuck on the "let's hook up" page. Now it says "that's strange. Try power cycling or re-pairing." I have done both often and when I turn the speaker off it won't come back on remotely.

I bought a 2nd UE BOOM to pair in stereo. Sputters horribly Always the right channel even when swapped. Does not do it in double mode. Paired to Samsung Note 5. All latest update.

The recent string of app updates killed the functionality. No longer am I able to wirelessly turn on the speaker (but the option is still there for some reason) and "partying up" is a hit or miss. I hope there's an older version we can downgrade to, for both the app and speaker.

I loved these speakers before the updates. They are no longer wireless. They won't pair with my Samsung Edge 6. I have to connect my devices with an aux cable and I can only use one speaker at a time. I want a refund or a fix. I will update my rating when the problem is fixed to satisfaction. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is sitting here with a 200.00 paper weight. Perhaps a class action lawsuit? Who wants in?

I have a note 5 and the app works 75% of the time. Sometimes the volume buttons on the app go out of wack. But the one thing I found out today from being able to use my friend speaker is the double up feature does not work on the note 5 or it could just be samsung. I know this because it works with my LG stylo 2 and bothe speakers where working. It's taking you guys a long time to fix this problem with Samsung phones.

This app tries too hard to be cool and is a about as functional as a pet rock. It fails to help when there's an issue. Double up doesnt work properly yet i can independantly connect to my 2 UE Boom units from my tablet. Frustrating, regret buying 2 speakers, advising friends to avoid.

Worked great until the latest update. Now it randomly loses connection all the time and starts over at the "let's get started" screen every time I open it. Super annoying and not functioning

Causes music to stutter; most of the time the app won't advance past the home page. Don't waste your time

Lg v10 cannot control the device remotely like I used to be able to. When will there be an update?!? The speaker hardly works at all any more. Very frustrating considering how much they cost...
