UE MINI BOOM

Wtf man this app is completely retarded, bloomin update this piece of trash and make it work again, because half of the ue mini booms cant connect, and the other half of em stops playing sound at random times or right after a song finished.. jesus christ man..

There are two UE mini booms that I use at work. The app won't recognize those two. I've tried troubleshooting steps but nothing has worked. If it's fixed I'll go back to loving this app.

Considering the simple nature of this amazing speaker, the app should fill in the blanks. I have no idea what the volume level is at any given time. It would be great to be able to control the speaker's physical volume without having to go up to the speaker itself. Also, how about an estimate for remaining battery time?

I have a mobile boombox even know when purchased it was advertised as a ue mini boom. Logitech are stupid for creating 2 identical products and allowing app control for one but not the other and to have them released at the same time. How stupid. Would be nice for Logitech to create the app for the mobile boombox.

Speaker is is very good and the app was easy 2 use. Not a lot u can do in the app other than 3 preset EQ setting, change blutooth name and see battery lvl. I don't have a second speaker to comment on the duo play. Would be 5 stars if u could do your own EQ settings and control volume. This app has loads of bad ratings from people who have a different speaker that's not the apps fault it's the users mistake.

Something on my phone (GS7) makes the Mini Boom audio drop out briefly and sporadically when using two in Stereo mode. This does not happen on my Nexus 7 tablet; the app works well on it. I'll be checking function from my older GS3 and GS5 to see if they work as well as the tablet, having no active phone service. UPDATED TO ADD: OK, it crapped out on my N7 tablet too, but works great on my no-phone-service GS5. So for best results with this app, ensure that your phone is no longer a really a phone. Dropped from 4 stars to 3.

Great product ruined by software, fails to establish reliable connection when using two speakers. Does the basics with a single speaker well (not using this software). Unintuitive and forgettable hardware pairing logic too. Pity, because the hardware performance is amazing. Putting me off Logitech, after being a supporter for years (two squeezeboxes still going).

It's connected and currently working and the app doesn't register the device. Doesn't work at all. No point in installing. Useless. Tried on two devices my phone HTC 1 n sony tablet. Neither works. Stupid.

If you read the description carefuly, it says that the application is compatible with the UE mobile boombox and not with the Logitech UE mobile boombox. Externally, both devices look identical and the application itself bears the name Logitech, so I am at a loss as to why this software isn't compatible with my device. Good thing I didn't buy 2 of these!

I wish the speakers would stay connected to Bluetooth for longer. I'll pause my podcast while I have to do a small task and boom it disconnects after 10 minutes. A real nuisance.

when I'm using this for stereo sounds, speakers cut out quite often just momentarily but often enough to be annoying. Also, major flaw in the fact that I can't tell the battery level when both speakers are connected. The app only shows one side instead of both. wtf? Get it together guys, it's time to put some effort into this...

Some of this app's basic functions are still a bit dodgy, but it can, at least in theory, give one control over one's acoustic environment to a degree only dreamed of by home audiophiles. Of course, this presupposes one has invested profligatly in UE speakers. Still, if one has even a single UE Boom, the app is certainly worth a go.

Had problem with old phone, got better phone, lg volt, was fine for a couple of weeks, now same thing happens, the sound cuts out, a lot. Not all the time, but today was the worst yet, every ten seconds or so, can UE contact me about what may be the cause of this?

Annoying problem. I'm going to take it back to where I bought it and will change.my rating if it improves. Good sound with a cable - problems wih blue tooth suck.

So double up option is greyed out. But my phone is paired and playing music. So don't know why the app won't acknowledge it. Followed instructions to double up my other UE mini boom without the app but that won't work either. So frustrating. Moto G (1) on lollipop.

Love it. I have them strapped to the left and right side of my backpack and will get drop out if. 1: I have liquid between the speakers in my backpack. 2: my body is between my cell and speakers. Just to help out some trouble shooting with every one

The app doesn't seem to recognize connectivity between phone and UE speaker. I'm able to play music thru it so I know it connects with my HTC One (M7). Help! I would really like to expand the capabilities of this boombox. Thanks in advance!!

It's great when it works but unfortunately for me, that's almost never the case. The app fails to detect my device and it takes forever to double up as well. Please fix this!

The double up feature works but then It cause the music to cut out for a second about every 20 seconds. I reset the speakers and rebooted my phone. I've done everything that cust service has asked to no avail. .This needs to be fixed before the app can be given a favorable review.

Please update, and make this app as good as the ue boom app, because I'd like to get custom equalizer and such another problem is that my ue mini boom, at times just stops playing when my songs go too quite, so i need to reboot my speaker again, it's incredibly annoying, while the ue boom app does have a function to wake you speaker up, this ine hasnt even if its turned on you have to reboot it..

Great app and speaker for a decent price. Big broad sound for such a small speaker! Only complaint is Bluetooth connectivity with various streaming - based music apps such as Spotify and SoundCloud. When I pause the music and keep it paused for about 2-5 minutes and then play it the speaker disconnects via Bluetooth. Theb when I play the song it plays out on my phone speaker (galaxys5) and when I adjust the volume on my phone the Bluetooth on the speaker reconnects to my phone and plays the song there.

What's the use of this app when it can't even detect the speaker it was made for. The speaker is fine and working well. The is just a worthless app. Please fix!

I had the HTC One M7 n it worked fine. I have the Note 4 n no problems!! No telling how loud it would be in my apartment if I had both on. But one is loud enogh. 5 for me!!

Excelent app, easy to use, fast and light! Great speakers too!

Pairing two speakers they sound amazing for movies and music! Great update to the app makes it useful problem is that the app rarely works. Kill the app and stick with the speakers manually. We tried the app with a Samsung tab, iPad mini and iPad air. All inconsistent and works one day then not for aweek.

I am stunned! This little box is big on sound. And the quality of sound is truly stunning. I've always wanted Bose for clarity and bass quality. I'm truly satisfied here with the UE MINI Boom.

Downloaded the app then "Ugraded" to this speaker from the previous version - which worked brilliantly. Specifically bought 2 mini booms to dual stream to after seeing advertising for this function.. In short - music drops out continuously even at 2 meters distance, even in line of sight. Using Galaxy s4 and i-pad. Returning speakers tomorrow and deleting app. I'd rather pay more and have something that actually works or just stick with the mini boombox. Massive failure UE.

This is a nice app with a simple interface, although it's missing a couple of key features. Volume control and estimated battery time, for starters. Will rate 5 stars once these are implemented.

I have doubled up but while the speakers are doubled up they will not remember other devices(multi host while doubled up does not work)-so your stuck with the device u originally started the double up with unless you re-sinc everything...and also it cuts out every 20 sec or so....apparently only in stereo mode........ should i take it back or wait for a update....

Music fades in double up mode and they seem to act like wired speakers that have a loose wire. One will crack out and then the other. Never really just plays well in stereo.

After spending hours trying to get this App to work, without success, I discovered Logitech make two identical models of this speaker. The earlier mobile boombox and the later boombox mini, both identical to look at, both for sale at the same time in some shops. As mentioned in the read me file on App download page, it doesn't work with earlier mobile boombox

This app only works with the UE MINI BOOM I have a UE Mobile Boombox (a older version that looks almost exactly the same except for the slight difference in the grill design) and it does not support my speaker. Sad

Ya, title says it. Connects straight away to the speaker and the Mini Boom itself is awesome! However, I've read about the problems that others have mentioned with their phones, and a few additions like Volume control of the speaker through the app which should be added, so its time for an update to fix all this. Last update was over a year ago, so if you want more people to enjoy the speaker to its fullest, cause it is awesome, it'd be good to update the app as well!

It will Never Pair Two Speaker together, NOT A GOOD APP

I am stunned! This little box is big on sound. And the quality of sound is truly stunning. I've always wanted Bose for clarity and bass quality. I'm truly satisfied here with the UE MINI Boom.
