CAVU FPV for DJI GO 4 Drones

Very promising, the best fpv app out there. I have an xperia z5, it lags when i use litchi as fpv. But with this, there is a lot less lag when in fpv mode. I love the customizable layout. I hope future updates will include the usual intelligent flight modes. I think i'll purchase the license. This is a great fpv experience when you don't want to shell out $450 on dji goggles.

I just purchase the license and so far it has worked with my spark and rc combo without OTG of course. However I have a question regarding the RTH function when signal is lost Im assuming it will still RTH at the altitide set in the djiGo4 app?

I change my reviews because they did email me and give me some advice on what to remove and install it. I did find out early how to fix the problem. I did the update after and everything seems ok. Thanks for helping. I really like the app, keep improving it and add some email where you guys can be reach, a tech support sort of.

It only allows my drone to get about 100 feet away. It also does not have the Drone stats on the screen to monitor bat life, etc. When the application connects with the Drone it says "unknown aircraft". I tried to contact via email with no response from the team. Frustrating

Works great with mavic pro and s7 edge, free trial mode. Since the exp wheel works, it would be nice to have a light mter on the screen. Also, please cache pics and video to same folder as dji go app uses. Leaving it only in sd card on drone is annoying. Lastly. Need toggle button for gumbal fpv or follow horizon. I want to buy. Is there a small range limit or does this just use the occusync video feed for the full 7km range of mavic?

Great app with Mavic Pro and Galaxy S8+, it even let me move the eye distance for the googles. All the needed info is on the screen, battery life, height in meters or feet, dth, orientation. easy to read with the googles, head track lags and gets me dizzy right away, but not needed actually. Switching between drone view and ground is great for landing, I used the free version but 5 min at a time is just perfect to test the product. I never review apps but you nail it. Installed it and 5 minutes later I was flying my drone, 0 trouble, Im totally a novice about fpv, but the experience was great, hope you could include mode features like dji, and flight points to have everything in one app. Rth was confusing but I think I need to understand it better. We'll see with the paid version but Im sure it would be even better.

really nice app!!! But I cannot stop Motors. What is the trick? I am using sony xperia z1 and both spark and mavic dont stop motors unless I disconnect app... Thanks!

The App had potential. I just have too many issues getting this app to work with my spark. Ill have to trust that they will improve on it soon.

The app has great potential but yet not ready to deliver, the great feature is MR option to see what's in front of you as well as image from the drone with HUD display. I love the fact that you can switch between full screen front view and drone fpv but somehow the video seems to be very unstable with huge delay. Recently I have lost the connection to drone and had to proceed with return home as the image would not come back unless drone was 20m away from the controller. I had tested the app against the DJI and on OEM software never lost video. The head tracking gimbal is impossible to use with massive delay so concentrating your vision on something and keep it there is impossible. I would love to see the updated version with fixed video. I should have tested free app before buying full version.

Cannot be connected. It happen in once after following the usb suggestion then never worked

A cheap and cheerful way to get into FPV with your spark, however my experience was spoilt by the massive overexposure of the I.age when in FOB mode, I was is g the free 5 minute app and not the paid one, but if the recorded Image is the same using the paid app I would be disappointed.

Well it won't connect with my remote. I have the spark. It will not see what the drone sees. Fpv

Does anyone know if this app works well with the latest firmware DJI released for the Phantom 3 Pro and controller? I'm hesitant to update it until I can confirm that DJI isn't trying to screw over 3rd party app vendors.

Can ANYONE PLEASE tell me what app or if there even is one for the future battleship air drone.

I cannot make the "help" screens go away. Instructions say they will disappear when installed in the VR goggles but they don't. Instructions imply it can be turned off manually but don't tell you how. I'm using a Samsung Note 3 and VR One plus goggles. Any ideas?

I have been out twice with this app now, and I have had no issues with it at all. That in itself is saying something given the crappy apps for this purpose that are out there, but this one is truly a breath of fresh air! The customizable placement of the flight data on your screen lets you adjust for whichever goggles you are using. Its intuitive interface is wonderful, and it works like nothing else does. The video is very pleasing and the ability to zoom the field to fill your POV is awesome. FPV with goggles is really the best way to fly, and this app makes it work seamlessly. Thank you sincerely for making a great app that does what Litchi just cannot.

Installed it, tried to use it, but the video feed is wa-ay too glitchy (blocky, pixelized, slow, inconsistent) and the camera on Mavic just goes up & down, up & down without me doing anything! Don't know if it's app's fault or the recent Mavic updates, but the bottom line this app is not working out for me.

It looks good. But 5 minutues is barely enough time to turn on and set up without being able to do a decent test. 15 mins trial would be more reasonable and then i wouldnt mind paying for the app

So far I'm really loving this app! My one wish is head tracking for yaw movements as well. Besides That, this is the most stable fpv goggle app for the Mavic I've used.

I just found it reviewed it download it and it's good I recommend for now only thing I don't like it's the 5 minute thing I get scared if am far and I see 5 minstrel signal

I love the app! It is so cool to fly the drone in FPV, but I only gave it 4 stars b/c I can't seem to save pics/video using the app. Everything works as described in the instructions (the video timer appears and the photo number comes up on the screen), but nothing seems to save, or at least, I can't find where things are saving. I would definitely give it 5 stars if this issue was resolved.

Amazing App! The picture in picture feature is pretty cool (prevents walking into trees and other nearby objects ;). Almost the entire display is customizable, so it seems like this will work for just about any phone/vr headset.

Worked great till I dropped remote. App crashed when it unplugged. Trying a reinstall now
