Logitech POP for Android
won't even setup the bridge. stuck like others with the add network screen. have factory reset the hub 5 times with no success. my phone is next to hub and the hub is sat within a metre of router. still can't get past add network just keep getting error page saying can't find hub.
Doesn't start. Isn't it supposed to be a Logitech app? Come on...
Worked great for several months then suddenly blinking light of death occurred on the bridge. I've "factory reset" the bridge several times and can't get past the "adding network" screen
Great little devices which are working perfectly. If the developers could change it so that the app doesn't keep locking me out then that would be great! Getting fed up with putting my log in details in everytime I open the app! (I have a lockscreen so it is not needed)
Experiencing the same problem as others: cannot get past the "Add Network' screen. Except this is 6 months later, you'd think the hardware or software fault would be fixed. Sometimes it even loses connectivity while typing in the network password and will suddenly jump to "Hmm...Cannot find bridge". Expensive garbage. Update: After trying for an hour, I ONCE made it to the actual setup screen, where it promises "good things are coming", but it lost connection to the bridge during. Back to the dustbin.
Constantly stops working. My IFTTT actions rarely work. No updates so Logitech has likely abandoned this product.
After quite a while of back and forth with tech support, they finally figured out what was wrong with it failing to detect one of my bulbs. Everything is working smoothly and the switches are great.
Frustrating setup. Uses the generic term device for smart client device, but for all I knew it could have been phone, hub, pop button, switch, or the lifx light bulb. Found bulb 1 and no others, I rest all bulbs now it find all but bulb 1 of 4. Nothing I can do now to see bulb 1, everything else sees bulb 1. Setup is a pain, coming from a Linux systems programmer.
The switches work with LIFX, but the app overwrites your color and brightness settings. Sometimes the lights turn on dim if you use the LIFX app or Amazon echo to control the lights. It's annoying because I would need to press the switch or apply my saved settings in the LIFX app to get it back to the color & brightness I want. The app should have an option to just turn the lights on/off and not change your settings.
New version and still does not detect all bulbs. Has a bug there. With the multiple tap options it does not remember anything other than the last selected. A pain as it then is out of order. Still new and needs lots of work but am not seeing a lot of updates or new features.
After paying $100 for a couple buttons that require their own hub, I expected better. The setup process took forever, it kept trying to find the hub, then when it asked me to put in my Wi-Fi password it would lose connection, I repeated this process about 20 times before I saw someones review that said if you purposely put in the wrong Wi-Fi password, it will prompt you to confirm the password, then put in the right password and it should work. The app needs work. For example, for a dimmable LED bulb on SmartThings, also tested with a LIFX bulb, I set up a button that on single click toggles a light, on double click it sets the light to 100%. If you double click the button to set to 100%, then single click to toggle the light... Instead of turning the bulb off like it should, it just sets the brightness to the toggle brightness setting (default 50%), if you single click once more then it turns off. I feel this is incorrect and there should be more granularity...I should be able to choose if I want to include a brightness setting on the toggle, or just toggle the lights.
Easy to set up with my LIFX lights and harmony hub. Works well with quick response.
The switches are quick and work really nicely. Very happy with my purchase. The setup however is a nightmare. After an hour my bridge finally decided to connect during the second phase. It would connect initially and have me enter my wifi password. It was all downhill from there.
UPDATE: Pro tip! If you put in the wrong password at the WiFi screen, it then stops the dumpster fire that is setup, tells you that your password is wrong, and then lets you go when you re-enter the correct password! Great app! /s Wow, I've been attempting to setup the bridge for a good 30 minutes now between two different phones and it still won't setup. This app finds the bridge and then pairs, before taking you to the WiFi setup screen. It then times out or disconnects and says it "cannot find bridge." At that point, you have to unplug and replug the bridge in to get it to pair again, but then it just fails and fails and fails and fails and fails and fails and fails and fails and fails to ever connect to WiFi. It sounds like I'm not the only one, as the other lone review is saying the exact same thing. Great product so far! /s

After two phones connected, everything stopped working, so we reset the hub, unistalled the apps, deleted the groups, etc.... Decided to stick with one phone, now the buttons don't work. Deleted the buttons, and they can't be added back to phone. EDIT: Started working in the morning with one phone and the functionality is unbeatable. Nothing beats having a feel-good physical button to control lights at varying temperatures. Not sure why 2 phones caused a problem, but a hub reset fixed it.
