About An2An Remote (Demo)

Use your Android device to remote control another Android/PC device through Bluetooth or WiFi/Network.You can use your Android phone as a wireless keyboard/mouse/touchscreen, or redirect physical keyboard/mouse/controller to target device.

Paid user can email android.locnet@gmail.com to obtain a Windows Receiver for free.

Benefits
- Turn wired keyboard/mouse/controller into wireless one.
- If you have a phone with built-in physical keyboard or game controller (e.g. Xperia Play, Nvidia Shield, Droid X360, JXD S5110, Yinlips G18A), you don't need to buy keyboard/controller for other devices.
- Screen is not blocked by onscreen keyboard or your finger when using another device as input, so you get better view.
- When the target device cannot connect to keyboard/mouse/controller directly (e.g. no OTG, Firmware unsupported, unrooted), you can use another compatible device as a "bridge".
- Use touchscreen apps on devices which have no physical touchscreen (e.g. Android TV Box, PC).
- Extended customizability by using together with GameKeyboard (e.g. create key/touchscreen mapping, multiple profiles, macro).

IMPORTANT
1. Keyboard feature doesn't need root.
2. Mouse/Joystick/Touchscreen features need rooted receiver device, please enable "Settings->Receiver Options->Use Root Features" from receiver devices.
3. Feature demos are provided for compatibility testing, restrictions applied when license is not purchased:
- Keyboard: only the first 2 keys pressed in the beginning of each session will work, restart the transmitter to test other keys.
- Mouse: limited to horizontal cursor movement
- Touchscreen: bounded to upper-left area
- Joystick: limited to horizontal movement of left analog stick

After some testing with the free version, I bought the paid one. Now I use it with a Huawei 7 inch tablet as receiver and a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 as transmitter. At the overall it works fine. The only problem I find so far, is that it only transmit the inputed characters at the end of the word. If it wasn't for that, I would say that it is a perfect app.

I was looking for such an app everywhere. Nice idea, disappointing experience. Why should a simple wifi/bt connection be so difficult? Where is the menu/settings button in the transmitter role? I need to uninstall, install again select receiver role just to try and tweak a setting in the receiver role and change the role to transmitter.

The keyboard - bought the keyboard activation - works well on my *not* rooted Android 5.1 and 6.0 tablets with my PC keyboard, although the right shift and control don't work. Escape, Caps Lock and NumLock keys don't work as well. But PgUp, PgDown, Delete, Home/End, arrows and the rest WORK FINE. Highlighting -selecting text with left Shift works good, using left Control to invoke shortcuts works well (like Ctrl-a, Ctrl-c, Ctrl-x, Ctrl-v) AND using foreign language keyboard input works fine; all native language symbols come out fine. Alt-Tab works on the Transmitter tablet, not on the Receiver one. So the pros far outweight the cons. This is the only app that has such functionality and *really* works *without* rooting. On Android 5+ the settings icon is hidden by the keyboard layout selection (in Receiver mode) and you can get to these settings by going to Settings->"Language & Input"->"An2An Receiver" - just note that you have to first enable this app as your keyboard layout/input method. It takes a bit to get used to, but it works - I'm writing this using this app through Bluetooth. Two years ago, I tested this app on Android 4.2 using Wi-Fi and it also worked, and since then no other apps came that have such functionality.. I was using a Bluetooth keyboard until now, but it broke down and I'm looking for a new one, so until I get one, this app really helps. Hope the developers work on it more and give us full keyboard support (with F1-12 keys) and possibly more functionality and features. Still it's a lifesaver.

Works perfect as a transmitter and receiver. I would rate it 110% if it had voice control as well as mouse keyboard and touch inputs. Otherwise it does what it says it does. Well pleased. ....

High functional, extremely useful. Only drawback is lack of screen mirroring whilst transmitting touch input. However, not a major concern.

Fantastic app, the remote screen is stunningly fast! Mouse, touch and keyboard works as a dream. Love it :-)

Q70%

Considering you have to buy each option separately, it's a realtively expensive app if you get all options. That being said, I only got the mouse option, and it is pretty lacking. The mouse movement works well enough, but that's about it. Left-clicking usually requires at least 5 taps until it finally registers. Right-click and click-and-drag are equally frustrating. Haven't gotten the roll mouse wheel option to work. Also, since my phone has no dedicated menu key, I have to press and hold the back key to get to settings. This sends the back key to the receiver when it's not what I wanted to do. Also, I'm not exactly sure why I have to configure it as an input device when I'm not using it as a keyboard but a mouse. Really more trouble than it's worth.

The app is not able to connect to any device even after doing all the settings and on the transmitter device menu is not shown.

Used to work great, until getting an LG G3 with Android 5.0. Screen mirroring doesn't work from LG G3 to any other android. Other than that, everything works great on Galaxy Pop - 4.0, Ideos S7 Slim - 4.0, Xperia M - 4.3 & A733 - 4.4. One of a kind app. Thank you

fairly poor instructions. after about an hour i got it to work and paid for full version. after logitech keyboard case dumped out on me after 5.0.2 update on my note pro i was desperate. who would have thought you could connect the case to your phone with bluetooth and then bridge the connection with wifi back to my tablet just to use the keyboard. amazing. F*ck you samsung. some keys will function on my phone rather than on the tablet like the home button or alt+tab but i can type. important for my school work. passible til i figure something out. will only work while your phone shows this app on the screen can not do anything else.

Tried using this & paid version of keyboard add-on w my HTC MyTouch 4G Slide physical keyboard acting as keyboard for my tablet. Retried after dev response, will only send uppercase while shift key held and alt key does nothing so no numbers or special characters. To top it off, while trying to config phone settings I switched physical kb layout and lost default so now I can't use numbers ANYWHERE and have to factory reset. Better off with a bulkier bluetooth keyboard. Dev SUCKS, won't buy from again.
