Sprint Mobile Controls

I thought this app would be perfect considering the description. But the phone lock does not stop my daughter from accessing her music apps, possibly others, or stop calls during lock periods. It does seem to keep a log of calls made, but because of the lock issues, I have doubt as to any of this applications accuracy. This app should be free until it works properly....

Complete rip off!!! Dont waste your money. They don't tell you until you've paid the subscription that it is incompatible with devices it claims to work with. And reading ALL of the other reviews, apparently it doesn't work at all even if you are able to install it. Either way, they get the fee and you lose! No surprise from Sprint though

It will install on one of my childrens phone but than day its not compatible with the other childs phone. They have the same exact same phone. Sprint says there is nothing they can do afternI just bought these phones. Not a happy customer right now. Now Inhave to find another app to secure their phones.

I just recently installed it on my phone to lock my daughter from her phone. It works when ever it wants to. I refresh the hours and the phone doesn't even lock. I really like the app when it's working properly. Can I get some info on how to work out the kinks if it's on my end. Thanks

I am going to give this app on more chance. I am still not getting messages that my kid is calling or message or he call 911. Now he call 911 and it unlocks the phone and is unlocked an u have no idea till i heir him on it pass the time its suppose to be lock.... not happy right now. So i am givin this app One more 1 chance

Used this app for a long time, now with a new phone that is supposed to be compatible, the companion app "Safely Family Utility" isn't compatible with the brand new phone. I emailed the company twice with no response. This is for a child with autism, and now I have no control over his phone.

My son just has to hit the home button and it over rides the lock. Yes we checked all the settings. I will not pay for something this bad. Finding something else. Gave two stars for the ability to see his activity it is the only plus.

I like that I can see if texts are incoming/outgoing during restricted times, can see new contacts added and calls made to unknown contacts. I don't like that the lock feature doesn't work. I locked the phone for the first time, allowing only a few contacts to be texted, however, those contacts can't be texted. Pointless feature.

This is a waste of money. Just another waste of money and sprint getting money out of us they need to fix it

I love everything but the lock feature. I love being able to see who he is adding to his contact list and who he is texting. I set it to lock from 8pm to 7am and its set so that he is not able to use lock override. I picked up is phone at 9 and was able to play on it. I turned the screen on and off to see if it reset the lock screen and it did not. I then turned on and off the phone. Still no lock screen. I have the child app installed on his phone and received a message saying it was activated.

We had SMC working on a Galaxy S5 and Note 5 for about 2 years, along comes the Marshmallow update 6.0.1 and suddenly these devices are rendered as "device not compatible"?! So much for "works on all up to date Android devices". Really?! Safely Family Utility is no longer available on PlayStore for these devices.

I need to have the mobile controls working. Says reinstall needed sends me a text with a link that doesnt work. This was working and now it is not. It says my device is not compatible and i get a box to sign in i hit it then i get error message page you requested is invalid. I have a galaxy s6 how can it not be compatible its not a stone age phone. I need to have this mobile controls working for the lines on these phones. Someone help!!

We've recently moved to Sprint and as part of that deal, I was able to get a Samsung Galaxy S7. I say that to say that it is surprising that this app does not work on a current phone with updated software. I've had two main issues. One, I could not get timely access codes. When I finally did receive them, they were not accepted by the app. Even after visiting the Sprint store. Secondly, I now see a message stating "Mobile Controls works on android phones only" Not a good intro to Sprint.

I feel how Lanette feels ever since i switched to my new phone the app won't work at all, all it keeps saying is reinstall when I've done that over and over again. Why am I paying for something that won't work can anyone please tell me bc i would love to know why I can't use it.

Ive found out that he's been receiving pictures and sending pictures that doesnt seem to show on the app and theres some outgoing calls that also dont show this app has a lot of pros amd cons compared to verizons familybase! Only moved to sprint do to all extra charges at verizon but if I had any other choice id move back fast!

My son just showed me how he can bypass the lock. He even deleted the app while phone was locked and I did not even receive notification that the app had been deleted. Completely useless. If I could give 0 stars I would. Definitely not worth $4.99 per month. Don't waste your money on this.

Worked fine on my galaxy s5 phones until new update was installed. 2 same phone, 2 same updates, still works on one and not the other. How is that possible? What am I paying for if you can't fix that. Need to lock phone during school and late night and can't anymore.

I am having the same problem as other reviewers are. I set up times that my daughter can't use her phone and all she has to do is click on her home button and can use her phone. On my phone it says her phone is locked though. She was texting right beside me to show me how she gets around it.

Have used this app for a couple of years with no problems. Just got a phone for my son and activated it. Now his becomes inoperative when locked, and no interface to inlock phone and tge battery gets really hot and runs out of power very quickly. Now its doing the same on my daughters phone. Just saw last update was in 2014, that is ancient in app development. Called sprint they had no clue.

Tried to give mobile controls permission to track my son's phone, but it says it can't on my son's phone. Noticed alot of people saying it's because of the new marshmallow update. If you say your product works on any sprint device thrn it should. To me that's false advertisement......

My daughter can unlock her phone even when its locked.. i am so glad i got a trial before i paid $7.99 a month. The call log also doesn't work. If i could give this zero stars i would.

No longer works, but prior to several months ago it worked great. No phones changed on our end. At login I get the message to reinstall, and I have, several times. After months of paying and it not working, it must be time to shut it down.

Used to be a great app. Will not let me control the phone anymore. Then one min it will show the activity then the same day all activity is gone and says there was none that day. Would love to switch companies so i could control my childs phone

Sprint needs to give us MORE control and MORE access to see what our kids are doing on their phones!! We should be able to control the access to all application on their phone separately. HELP: kids are downloading other apps so we can't tell when there texting or making calls. OR NOW THEY ARE TURNING OFF THERE DATA BYPASSING THE LOCKOUT TIMES. And if we block their data access, then this app stops working!! HELP COME UP WITH MORE PLEASE!!!!******

I gave two stars because when it used to work it was great. However, for some reason we need to reinstall and it says my child's galaxy s5 is not compatible with app?

Downloaded this app to use on a phone, for the first month or so it was working fine but now I cannot access any information on it, every time I tried to log it it is telling me that I need to download the app no the other phone, after downloading it on the other person the same msg keeps coming up, I even deleted it and downloading it again but same thing. Can you fix it please.

I loved this app for the last 5 years.......until I bought the Galaxy S7Edge for my Son and I in March. It's been almost 5 months and STILL no update for use on Marshmallow phones? C'mon man!

This app worked fine until we moved. Then nothing has worked for 6 months. I downloaded the apps. They delete the account and start over. They charge me then refund the bill. They promise to get a ticket to you for the back end. Bunch of bla bla. Sprint is horrible

I downloaded and tried to sign up for the 15 day free trial, but every time I tried, I got an error message. I tried chatting online, and they told me too call customer service. I called, and they told me it had to be done online. If Sprint could get their act together, that would be great.

I am a mom, concerned about my teens and their choices on the web. I tried downloading this app on 3 different LG G5s and it didn't work. I was on the phone with Sprint for over an hour the first night- they told me to take it into a Sprint store. Next day, took it to a Sprint store, was there an hour and a half- they told me to take it back to best buy. Took it back to Best Buy, they tried everything the people at Sprint tried (phone and in store) It kept saying this is not compatible on this device.

It keeps asking for my 10 digit mobile number when its already entered. It sounds like a great app if it actually worked. Very disappointing...

I downloaded it and it never fully set it self up... it never went past pairing the two phones. Will be deleting and calling sprint

Biggest peeve. It locks when its not supposed to. I originally set a time and later changed it but not matter how many times its changed it's kept the original time. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and it still does what it wants. I have to manually lock it. Whats the point in allowing a time setting?

It used to work fairly well but now she can use the phone when it's supposed to be locked, the phone does not lock, it doesn't show who she is calling or texting. It's disappointing considering I pay for this service

They can still use the phone. They turn off the phone turn it back on or use power saver mode. Goolge it. You will find instructions to by pass the block.

I just started using this application because of problems with daughter. We have it set for texts to be stopped at 10:00 pm. What did we find out, she was able to text him, and he text her. This is suppose to be our control on her. Whats wrong? If this isnt corrected then why pay for this app when trial period is up. I had a lot of hope in this app.

This app is good when it works but half the time if my kids on the phone during lock time it just stay on. And now I just found out the ringer stays off when locked so its not good for emergency calls.

Detailed app information isn't working even when family settings are present and both phones are Android. Good "starter" app when you don't need robust monitoring and controls. Not ideal for tech savvy teens. Decent for tweens.

I have installed sprint control on my new note 5, when I push login nothing happens. It worked fine on my note edge.

Can't get the contact and apps on my daughter's phone. Can't even set anytime contact and apps! It worked totally fine with the S3...now doesn't work on the s5 sport. I don't know if I'm gonna keep it.
