I've used this all for a long time and I've persuaded a lot of other people to use it too. Unfortunately since they released the native android app it just isn't as good. Things like the page refreshing once you switch between apps (almost always required when copying costs across from your bank apps) make it a very frustrating and slow experience. If the app was streamlined and made for speed it would make the experience so much better. Unfortunately at the moment I can't recommend the app, it's just gone down hill :(

Does what it says on the tin, great for managing bills with my housemates.

Great up to share and split cost. Keeps the overview of all spending and allocates the costs. Only missing point is to combine it with a shopping list, thay would fullfill all need for shared flats:) maybe also a fuction for budget and tracking cost. Its available online by browser but not integrated in the app yet. Excited to see whats coming next! Use it everyday:)

It was all good till it just crashes and doesn't start

stopped working after rebrand to acasa (Android , marshmallow, Nexus 5). reinstall didn't help

Really useful app, meant keeping on top of who owed what was really easy. It would be useful to have a way to create negative prices, for example if a partial refund is given to someone

It is a very good app which I am using everyday to share the house expenses with my flatmate. It is easy to use and you keep track of everything. I also use it during my holidays. You can have another dashboard just for that. I really like this app

Please don't change the app name randomly. Also we all refer to it as splittable still. Was there a reason for the change?

This can record the itemised expenses, by some members of a family only. I wish it could calculate the total expenditure, itemized.

It is a simple way to sort out living cost with flat mates. We allways had problems with the "who payed and how much? type of things" and this app was the solution. Half of us has android tge other half of the house are with ios but the app still works fine.

Great idea (not theirs first of course) but badly run. Without any warning to me and for the space of about a week, Acasa held roughly £1200 owed to me by my flatmates - I'm the chief bill/rent payer so there's usually reasonably large amounts going through my account. Needless to say this caused me a huge amount of stress and only after 3 days of frantic emailing did I eventually manage to get through and have the payment refunded to my flatmates, who then had to send it through their banks separately. Oh and forget about calling to get through to someone to talk to, as they don't have any kind of customer service phone number - I checked quite thoroughly! Even without using this app for sending payments it is buggy at the best of times just for recording who owes who what. Ultimately if you can't trust it to record payments accurately then it's a waste of time. I'm now using an alternative app which runs much more smoothly.

It's a mess, after 30 minutes trying to link the house with my flatmate we just gave up. Where can it be the house created deleted? I can't see the house code on android or insert any code, but she can with apple. Don't get that

R70%
by R####:

Way too many bugs. I get the feeling the dev team spend their time on the iOS app. Very difficult to add or remove people to a house. I can't actually find an option anywhere to delete a house. Keep getting "duplicate name" error messages that don't make sense.

After one month ,the app is not adding any new cost

So far it's been okay. It told us that my roommate owed twice as much as she actually did because it pulled the rent in there three times, the gas bill twice and the internet twice. It shows more transactions on Android than it does on iOS. Not sure what the issues are and why it pulls more payments into her debt.

R70%
by R####:

I love the interface and how simple it is to use! Splittable has totally transformed and improved our 4 person household, making finances really straightforward. Yay for no more guesswork when it comes to rent and bills!

K70%
by K####:

Used to be OK. Now I see others are having issues with it as well. You can't edit previous transactions which can get confusing if you've had it the wrong button.

R70%

Useless app. Good only if you split with one person, not for more

R70%
by R####:

Native app update improves performance big time, still a few niggly things in the UI like the spacing of profiles (way too much whitespace) and the naming of buttons (difference between cost and payment can sometimes be confusing)

R70%
by R####:

Nice app

R70%
by R####:

The update is atrocious. It went from an excellent app to a one you actually can't use. It doesn't let you put in a cost of items for anything above 9p. do not download until it has been fixed

M70%
by M####:

Privacy concern. asks for home address and post code followed by a facebook login, no way round it.. its not hard to see the connection that this app can see your money information and asks for your home address can be fraudulantly missused. no guarantee that the information is encrypted and hack proof... so DONT TRUST. dont care how good a app is, a money related app shouldnt ask for private details.
