Desert Inn

The Desert Inn Restaurant Lounge Inc. (started in 1970 by John Shaheen Sr.) was actually conceptualized at John Shaheenâs Friendly bar on Cherry Ave. in Canton. He opened The Desert Inn on 12th st. in 1970. Johnâs son and daughter -in-law rebuilt in 2006 at the current location of 204 12th st. N. W. Mark and Tina are the owners now. Their sons Joe and Markos are also a part of the business. Joe is a bartender days and some nights. Markos is a chef, mostly evenings.
