Wow what a great tool! I did have to create an account to use from within the app, and despite what it says you do have to use your first and last name to create the account. Also finds location by city name (not zip). Was able to located a variety of farmers markets near me as well as the seasonal produce in my area. Thanks!

No crashes. But it does little more than provide listing of locations with no information, no dynamic features.

Running a small time farm requires me to grow in green houses and such so I can get veg all year long buti can't even figure out how to sell on here

Won't pull location even though permission is turned on, and won't let me search for my location. I can't get past registration to use the app.

I haven't been able to register. I can get as far as putting in my info but then I go the change the location and can find my location ONLY by typing in the city name. The change but never works... 4/1/15 - Just received email today from Locavore to try again only about a month after I sent several emails. So sorry Locavore, you were MUCH too late with your customer service reply and I removed it from my apps. Maybe you should get back with people much sooner in order to make them happy and stay with you.

This was a huge disappointment. HUGE. The app will not allow me to register, and from reading reviews this seems the norm. I have been hearing great things about locavore, but I now assume they are all paid ads. If no one can register how can they have an opinion on the app?

I can't finish registering because it can't find my location and it won't save it when I enter it manually. I want to use the app but there's no way to do so. Unfortunately I had to uninstall it due to a terrible design.

It wouldn't let me register my location and everyone else seems to be having a similar issue. Looks like I'm gonna delete it until they can fix the problem.

Can't even enter my profile - keeps telling me there's no Internet connection - and I used it before and after - so I know that's not true...

Have not explored app too much, but making an account does not crash the app. Very minor tech issue was that it's written that last name is optional, however it wouldn't allow me to continue without it. Only reason I downloaded app was because it seemed convenient for people who largely prefer local food (not myself in particular), but the app had low rating. Out of curiosity, I read some reviews then installed myself to see if update fixed issue most people remarked on. I should get paid lol

Won't accept GPS or zip codes

I gave this app a second chance after the developer responded to my last review, asking me to try the app again. I did and it is much improved over what it used to be. However, there is one pretty big flaw (at least on my Nexus 6). When you view what is in season in "list" format, the text that tells you how long a particular item is in season is cut off and unreadable. I will gladly provide a screenshot if needed. Other than that, this is a great app.

Used to be great, but now it can't find location so really had no point in using it.

Tried it on 2 different devices. When I go to register I just get a black screen.

I've down loaded the app, but can't login in..The login screen opens I enter my info and hit open and the app freezes till I get the forced close...

When this app failed to work on my Nexus 9 tablet, I thought, "That's OK, it's not designed for tablets." But it won't run on my Nexus 6 phone either. I see the first page or two of the login process, and then it freezes up. Baffling and disappointing.

6 times I tried setting up an account. 6 times the app stopped responding. Uninstalling.

Froze when i was trying to set up my profile. I was really excited about this app.

The original app was awesome and the whole point was to see what is in season in the local area. But with the new update I can find other locals and sellers... which is great... but the actual part that tells you what is in season isn't working. Unless this is a temp server down or something I'm going to have to find another app

I don't really know how good or bad this app is bc I can't register an account... More specifically I can't register my location. I have location services enabled and locavore has permission to access my location but it just won't, it doesn't even let me manually enter my location. I'm was going to wait and see if they fixed this in an update but it's been almost 3 years since the last one so I'm going to proclaim this app as abandoned by the developer.

I wasn't able to select my location unfortunately (or even any location). The change button appears not selectable. (Galaxy Note 3).

I fill in a location, but it doesn't have a function to save it, so when you get back to the main screen, you can't get further than the login page because no location is set. App is non-functional.

I cannot even register. I came here in hopes of finding some help, but have found that other users are experiencing the same issue. I guess iOS gets all the love from the developer. The promise of this app was something that I would have enjoyed. too bad the developer doesn't seem to care that most potential users cannot even become users.

Downloaded the app. Tried to register. Can't even set geographical location to continue onwards. They need to fix this fast.

I have the same location issues described in other reviews. I noticed some of the dates of these other reviews are over a year old! I guess I'll find something else.

Like others have said, the account screen didn't work for me. Couldn't input my location. Wish this app worked better! It's a great idea!

Installed the app yesterday and still no food shows up. Just unnecessary social profiles. Sounds like the development got sidetracked.

Why is this app unbearably slow??? Why a snazzy logo I cannot appreciate with a low resolution icon?

I like the concept and will continue to use it to contribute to its growth, but it is not used much in my area and therefore not as helpful as i would like it to be. Other than that, my only other criticism is that it runs quite slow especially when locating local sellers. Would love to see updates.

I cant past the setting up stage. I tried to put in my location and it wont let me go any further.
