Wales Coast

Disappointing! Tried to use the app on Monday 27/02/2017 when recce-ing the 8.8 miles of coastal path from Llanfairfechan to Conwy railway station. The app's map appears to view the area from the moon; useless and a waste of space on my device.

Not very intuitive to use. And data can be wrong. My nearest beach isnt listed. For example.

Been waiting for this for some time. Great to have the app on android, however,the app crashes every time I select "explore". Any plans for an update ? Deleted app and re-installed. Still suffering from same issue ie crashes when selecting explore.

Have tried installing and uninstalling the app 3 times. App installs ok but map tiles get to 49% and then just comes out of download. What's the point of the app without the maps.

A great help when out and about. Only wish you could plot the sections you've already done. A1

App takes up a bit of memory on phone but it's a good useful app that I plan in using now the weather is getting better!

Have to agree with others. Cannot see the point of this app. It's slow, unstable, impossible to configure or navigate and keeps presenting you with information you neither want nor asked for. The maps are unusable and the journal is inaccessible so far as I can see. Planning to start the WCP this year but will not be using this. The best thing about this app is the amount of space it frees up on your phone when you uninstall it. In a word: terrible.

Whoever commissioned this app should ask for their money back, the Ui is incomprehensible

I've run out of patience for this app so there may be more issues, the ones I found were: the maps don't zoom in enough, the viewable area is reduced by a pointless graphic at the bottom of the screen, an annoying 'x hide beaches' label is permanently docked above the pointless graphic, there is a 'track your progress' bar which is nice but doesnt seem to have a way to add sections already walked, it crashes - a lot. Is it a coast path or beach info app?

The information for my location is incorrect. In fact it does not get my location right. I cannot find any filters. The map does not open up everytime. All in all a waste of time. Those backing this app need to look closely into what is going wrong.

Brilliant app! All you need to discover the beautiful Welsh coast! So much easier to use than version 1 and I love the tracking function!

Great app, very useful

I was really looking forward to tracking my progress and seeing my achievements as I walked the Pembs section, but it crashed so many times and missed out a section of progress that I gave up.

This app is still not fit for purpose. It crashes regulary and is useless for serious walkers. It is obsessed with beaches. When I tell it I don't want beach info, I don't need the turn on beach info continuously on screen. Also the maps are useless, they are impossible to navigate by with thier indistinct colours. Finally how do I write in the journal?

I was hoping that the app would give access to useable maps (e.g., OS or Google) to use but it doesn't seem to. Could be good though if map function can be added.

This app has no use whatsoever. It's placed a point on a map telling me where my nearest 'entry point" to the route is, but the map has not a single discernable feature making it impossible to use. Poor effort.

Will give this a proper test drive, but first impressions are that the use of miles is like a throwback to the seventies and there seems no way to change it (never walked a 'mile' in my life). The most useful feature that I've been able to make use of so far are the tide times.

I downloaded this hoping to use it next weekend, however it crashes immediately each time I try to open it. Such a shame.

Settings indicate map should show various facilities & path info but doesn't seem to. Am I missing something? Works on my Samsung S£ Mini but Google Play suggests it will not work on my Acer A1-810. Will it? If not any ideas when?

Useless on the path itself. Did not track my walk, trying to zoom on your location would test anyones patience and gives no help in locating the path. Better off with other gps apps. Have developers field tested this app?

Had same issues as reported by other users on earlier versions, but latest version is working great! Looking forward to getting out and about with the app ...
