Live Traffic NSW provides up-to-the minute news of incidents and conditions that affect your journey in Sydney and Regional NSW.
This app provides you with live updates about traffic incidents and access to live traffic cameras from the Transport Management Centre (TMC).
Features include:
• Latest traffic information for Sydney and Regional NSW including incidents, major events, fires, floods, alpine conditions and roadworks.
• Access to live traffic cameras with images updated every 60 seconds.
• View incidents and cameras near your current location using maps or in a text list.

The Transport Management Centre (TMC) monitors and manages the 18,000km NSW State road network 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The TMC uses advanced monitoring, communication and traffic management systems to respond to and clear traffic incidents as quickly as possible, improve consistency of journey times, and provide the public with quality up-to-date information.
Our aim is to help motorists make the best possible travel decisions that will, in turn, contribute to the safe and efficient management of our roads.

Giving it one more go. Uninstalled it a few months back as the alerts weren't 'live', more often updated late, or missed events all together. Snarl was alot better. Ill re rate after a few weeks or delete again

Works great, so far as showing traffic/incident conditions, but saving a trip under 'My Trips' is a waste of time. A bug causes trip to save as a completely different route than prescribed.

There is major flooding in the area and multiple roads closed yet your app shows nothing. Poor form

I like being able to see accidents ahead, that there are color signifiers for light and heavy flow traffic and the construction earnings etcetera.

Trying to save trips and application goes around in circles, leading to nowhere. Was successful once out of 5 attempts, not clear on how to store trips. Suggested routes are too limiting. Sorry but better off with Google maps

Update jun 2016: Alerts STILL BROKEN. -------"Travel times" not updated with delay/incident information from separately listed incidences. To get updated info have to create "my trip" with the unintuitive and cumbersome interface. Even then cannot get real-time alerts, so ur screwed if an incident happens 5 min after an alert. Driver/passenger alerts only seem to be for current location, not saved trips. Pls show saved trip on app open.

Use it before I go to work to see if I need to go a different way. Roads around my area clog up quite often so I use this all the time and have put my friends and family onto it

To this date it hasn't given me any meaningful real time alerts and Google's Maps gives a better indication of travel time due to traffic volume. Wherever the data is aggregated from needs to improve to give any kind of function to this app.

I now have a Samsung Galaxy S7, and your app works just fine. Hopefully it keeps working as I do a lot of long distance driving & caravan towing, especially around NSW. Do other states offer this service? Regards, Gary McG.

It took be 50 minutes to get home instead of the usual 10 minutes and it was not noted on the app at all. If that is not worthy reporting I do not know what is.

What about reporting on roads out of city!? -Country & regional roads & flood warnings not given as would be vital for out of city drivers. Ive been trapped in flooded roads -there were no warnings. FIX!!!
