Not great. Seems like half the buttons don't work. Did they forget to code them??? Even hard tapping I get zero response in particular from the forget device option. Makes troubleshooting the pen pretty hard

The idea of this is awesome, i am new to this pen so when i accidentally turned the pen off trying to pull the ink cartridge out cuz of an air bubble in it now i cant continue my notes and have to start a new workbook and become confused at where im at in my work because i am unable to continue on the page i was on wish there was a way to continue writing in whats been archived

After three pens failed on me in some form or another, I've given up and gone to a Neo Smartpen

Bit disappointed it appears as though development of this app has stalled.This is premature since app is still buggy

I'm just returning everything, the pen, the refills, and the notebooks, this doesn't seem ready for Android.

Does not connect at all.

Utilizing the app no problems, saving meetings, then all of a sudden the app says you need to uninstall! Ok, but where's my stuff that I recorded?? If the pen was cheap this applications quality would be understandable, but it's NOT!! I hate this app and will never buy another pen. Not dependable at all. Beware!!

I really love the pen, I never miss anything in class. I can share with my classmates; notes, pen casts, or the entire notebook. I recommend this pen for anyone who has trouble in school getting the notes down. When I have problems, I just record the lectures.

:( the app and pen have so many issues with it comes to syncing and paring that makes the pen useless, not the app or the frimware for the pen has been updated in more than a year! Please fix.

Livescribe took a great pen and created so many techi-innovations that the ordinary person is overwhelmed. The first SmartPen was brilliant. This one is poor.

Not sure what's going on but the old Sky Pen used to work brilliantly so upgraded to the Pen 3 version and regret it as flaky and pretty much useless...disappointed

I loved this pen, until one day when the app updated and now I don't have access to months of notes. the app will no longer load, it crashes every time I try to open it. a whole notebook of lecture notes and recordings that I no longer have access to. is the data still there or is my only option to take my notebook and scan it into a computer???? most of my notes rely on the audio recording associated with it, now I only have the ink.... no digital data and no audio data. I hope that the next update will restore my data, will I ever trust it enough to use it for my business again. tools are there to make me money not cost me money. For me to trust the pen again I will need to be able to access and work (edit) the data on my computer.

Was working fine...and then not so much. Can't get it to pair with my Samsung S4 anymore. Even tried Hard Reset of the Pen (it doesn't delete data) and removing and reinstalling app...no joy. Now it's a really expensive pen. Will re-review when is fixed but until then...

I have spent more time in class with my phone restarting, than it recording the lecture. Two stars because when it works it is great. But it is not working even after the update.

Save your frustration and your money and avoid this app and associated product. This company needs to go out of business for releasing such a steaming pile of dog crap on consumers. How can you possibly be so bad without putting effort into failing? I don't know, but Livescribe sure does!

Most of the time problems with pairing. Does not work with PIN protected smartpens.

Upgraded my Moto X (2nd Gen) from Lollipop to Marshmallow (6.0). Smartpen does no longer connect with app. It worked before! Please fix.

Won't sync to my Galaxy S6 Edge. Completely useless. Only works with earlier versions of the phone.

I have a Samsung S4 running Android 5.0.1, this app can't find my smart pen at all. I've not had this problem with any other Bluetooth devices, so I know it's not my phone. The pen is able to connect to other people's android devices. The list of supported devices shows my phone should be compatible, but it's clearly not supported.

No video player component - considering how awful the web-browser version is, this is unacceptable.

Set up in a few minutes on Galaxy S 10.4 tablet and on Note 4 cell. Ok, the firmware required updating, but also a breeze. Got the Pro edition with a 4 pack of notebook. Couldn't be more pleased. One note, it doesn't instruct in the setup, but you should charge it for an hour or so as it barely (2%) had a charge out of the box.

LS3 will connect with my partners samsung gs4 mini fine and after an update operates correctly. But will not pair with my S5 running lollipop. Is their a patch or update ?

Although not as elegant as the iOS solution, this app seems to work pretty well for managing the connection to the pen. It can sometimes be a little slow at the initial connection but I suspect this is down to device subtleties rather than the app itself. My only issue so far has been doing firmware updates which required 2 restarts of the app/pen to complete but each time, it restarted the update where it had left off and continued on it's merry way. Overall, not a bad effort for a complex platform and looking forward to future improvements. to make the process smoother and faster.

Like most of us, I reset everything turned it off removed app, hard restart etc. Chat support weren't able to help. I'm having regrets.

Recently I started using this pen again and this crappy pen forgot how to sync what I wrote on the damn note.

No explanation of why the latest update now needs to have permission to know my location. If explanation was added to the description, I'd give 4 stars.

Used to be OK but now it seems Android 6.0 is not supported. Come-on live scribe get with the program!

I have a Sony Xperia z1 and the app it self works fine but it keeps crashing my phone. Not sure if there's anything I can do but it's getting annoying. Otherwise great app when it's working

Does not connect to the pen. I tried with a Pin or without pin set in the pen. Need to be able to use a pin like the ipad app, otherwise other people can sync with the pen. Thank you. Will wait on the update.

Y'all need to make this app able to log in to my account and then view notes from another smartpen that can't work with bluetooth

Can't share pages when smartphone is not connected to the pen. Sharing snippets work. You are forced to connect pen and then you can share! Fix this (using 1.0.3).

As a first release , it looks great , waiting for enhancement for auto sync and in performance

I've been trying to get Livescribe Link and Livescribe + with Note 4 with no luck. I downloaded the app today and it's the same as the previous version.
