The app is just terrible. Won't stay connected to any of the hardware. I have the cadence, helmet, and blink jet, none stay connected. You can forget about the ride tracker. I have had this since last summer and logged a good 5000miles on the bike but yet this app says I have done about 100. There should also be an update to include the smart watches. Would really go a long way with not needing a separate heart rate monitor. This app needs fixing and soon. The helmet is cool at night though.

This app requires considerable further development and debugging. It prevents some of features advertised for the Livall smart cycle helmet from working. The walkie-talkie group communication function is very unstable and causes the music player feature to stop working and the app to crash completely when the 3G/4G network signal becomes weak. When this frequently happens the app then drains the phone battery very quickly. Because of this poor app I would strongly recommend not buying the Livall smart helmet.

Why is this app constantly automatically starting up? Very annoying. No problem with pairing....but man this app cannot be stopped. Always self starts again....

For the most part, this app does what it says it will,based on what you connect to it: helmet, blingjet dashboard, cadence, etc. It monitors real time speed, maps your ride, connects to phone for calling and music. But there are some bugs. I have experienced crashes when I go to start/map a ride, or have half the helmet light functions disappear...but I resolved those by uninstalling then reinstalling the app. I'm not sure what the new updates are...there's no "community" to search for other "road books", and there's not much in the way of manuals for it. One things I'd wish they'd change right away: As a rider, I'd like the ability to download my ride data, or even share on other social sites than twitter or facebook, like strava or other fitness-centric apps. Who keeps track of their ride stats on facebook and twitter?

The mileage recorded is not even close to correct. Records about 30% short on every ride!

Rubbish, will not connect with any of the livall apps needs a lot more work

Suppose you start a ride and don't ride it seems to be impossible to shut the app down.

Nothing works on my Android 6 smartphone with this app.

My god this app is bad. So so bad. Firstly there's all the permissions, then the moronic interface, and then it just doesn't seem recognize when the device is connected, pause starts music, there's nothing useful on the screen when you're cycling, it forgets all your preferences every time, tells you you're indicating when you're not, I could go on.

Does not connect properly to my LG Escape 3 with android 6. I get the music and flashing red lights. The turn signals will not work since the controller will not connect. I feel like I wasted my money buying the helmet.

would not really reconnect after sometime of disconnection or when logout and relogin. i have to uninstall and reinstall then pair again.

Wouldn't pair using Bluetooth to my phone, a Samsung S7 Edge running Android 6.0.1. What gives?

Sometimes, it takes three or four tines to pair.

The guys at Livall do a great job.

Before update,there is an battery indicator showing on the equipments tab.. Y is the battery indicator taken out? At least i know there is sufficient energy for me last during my night riding.. Can u guys put that back in app? The blinkjet could only navugate the music files in app itself not from stock mobile app.

Does not work..not even close to "as advertised". I could have stuck stupid blinky LEDS on any helmet for MUCH less. It appears that the developers have abandoned those of us who funded them initially, and are only pursuing their newer model..

Concept is good. Really think you should partner with Garmin. The reason being is I would rather torque up a standalone device when I dump my bike as opposed to my smart phone which has all my contacts, some financial information, and my social network .

Your app heck for update before start but you never upload to Google play. How the hell is it going to start now. Zzzz

App keeps on asking for update. But the update could not be downloaded.

Tested it on multiple devices with various system versions, but only managed to get reliable connection with helmet and jet on huawei g6 running Android 4.4. The app could be worthy if it provided reliable connection on later versions of Android. And I am not the only one to have such problem. Please react!

These helmets are fantastic but the app was only so so. The latest update has been an incredible improvement. The only thing that is remaining but I would like repaired is that OK Google works with the inbuilt microphone. Looking into the future, I would love for the helmet to have front and rear cameras and indicators and lights at the front.

New Review!!! The recent updates work extremely well!! All works as stated and expected. This is the best equipment and App I have used. There were some bugs in the beginning and Mr. Colby and Mr. Zang did an excellent job of keeping me updated. The Equipment is excellent and now the software is working perfectly! I enjoy my work outs a lot more than before! Great product THANKYOU LIVALL

No cash anymore and street map available which can save your data. Battery saving and night mode are usefully. I wish next update will be about export file and exchange points

I had trouble getting the blingjet to pair with my phone... seems the secret is to pair the helment via bluetooth of phone then get app which is called livallriding not livall. Then connect bling via app then turn helment on and off a turn on binding option with helment and bing.. and then it works great... only improvement i would like is to be able to control pandora music app on my phone via blingjet. The volume and pause can be controled via helment buttons but cant jump ahead to next song

No control on audio playback .. starts playing random audio as soon as app starts. Their website is down. App does not start after running first time ... just displays white screen and then closes. Only way to start app again is to clear cache and data, and start all over. Sometimes, login fails. Doesn't look good. If Livall can not keep their service up, don't force users to login to use THEIR helmet. Make sign up optional. I don't want to login if I don't have to.

I use LG G3 and pairing was just fine. My friends uses Glaxy 5 and 4, and all of them (4 persons) the app crashes. So the app is useless for our cycling group, and I am the onlyone who can use it, alone. Hope the next update will solve the problem, and I'll change the review.

It is pure torture trying to connect helmet and remote to this app. The devices are nicely designed but the software is a disaster. The instructions are typed in very poor English and following them the best I can did not help me connect both devices. I have a Nexus 6. The first time around after hours I finally managed to connect both devices, then I broke my phone and it was replaced with the same model and this time, I got dressed for my usual 15 miles Saturdays and I am still sitting here 3 hours later.

Not only has the app repeatedly failed to work by not displaying or recording my speeds, distances etc (only the cadence from the sensor is displayed) but it has at the same time managed to eat up 75% which is 1.61gb of my monthly mobile data allowance in a single 1-hour ride! This app by its failings renders all the gear, blingjet and helmet useless. Not happy at all.
