About Reverse Tether [Trial]
ReverseTether allows you to access your computer's internet connection on your device via USB, thus, reverse tethering. It's the first and only app of its kind on Google Play, no other app does such a thing.

Pointless evaluation scheme. 11am to 3pm? This to be the dumbest trial I've seen. You expect me to wait nearly 24 hours or until after 11pm just to see if this app works? Be smart, change this to a timed trial or restricted trial.

I tried to use trial before buying it especially because of the warning in description. I tried to connect at 2 AM local time (12 AM GMT), but it warned me to respect trial's limitations or to buy it. As i could see on the bottom red text, the connecting hours are 11:00 - 15:00, 23:00-5:00. So, I assume that it should work for me. Please answer if the app should work or not on my phone. And if it should, please fix it, to connect as expected. Also, a list with known phones that are not supported would be helpful and would seem professional. Wish you best and I'm expecting an answer.

The time restrictions dont make any sense as whenever i connect it still tells me to buy the paid version. I tried at 11pm, 3am, 12pm and 2pm but it still gave me the stupid f***ing message. Whats the point of a trial version if you cant even use it once?

No problem setting up the PC side, but the app always says that it will not connect, "please respect the limitation of the trial version" so limited that there is zero chance I will buy the full version. Like others it will not connect whatever the time.

I made the installation on my LG android mobile properly but still not able to connect. Whenever I try to connect to my computer I get a msg 'Failed: Device not rooted or Permission denied'. I even put the IP add manually for android but all-in-vain. It doesn't work for every other android device.

Works perfectly, just missing 3G emulation which is not working, using CyanogenMod 10 release for HTC one V. Fix 3G emulation issue and get the 5 stars :)

Trial version worked on my S3, but only for limited period of time (5 minutes), only once, and web access only. Other applications were not supported. After that it disconnected, and - although I was withing correct time-frame - started blabbing about "respect and getting the full version". I spend around 10-20$ per month on apps, but I am NOT going to pay for crappy ones just to test it. I will be happy to pay for new product - but please, make sure it is working.

I needed reverse tethering as I was unable to download big GPS map data from my Wi-Fi spot. You install this app, get a new network adapted installed in your Windows PC, you share your internet adapter's network connection and (if you configure it that way) each time you connect your USB cable, you're offered to do the reverse tethering. In my device, it takes about two minutes to start. This app also allows you to emulate you're using a 3G data connection, as many Android apps would tell you aren't connected if not. About trial limitations, well, I was fortunate enough to download the maps's 3 GB at early morning so actually didin't note it was a restriction. Reverse Tether does everything I need, very easily, so it's already on my wishlist :)

I rooted the phone, installed the app. Made phone and computer settings as mentioned. But every time i try to connect to it, at late night (after 11 PM), it asks me to try latter or buy the paid version.

It took me quite long for the program to connect to the internet. It show as 3g connection but somehow dropbox would't syn it said wait for the faster network. But everything else works fine.

Says you can only test it between certain hours of the day... but then gives the same message outside of those hours. Could be using the developers time zone but in any case it's more frustration on top of what is likely to be a tricky setup (for linux users)
