Confession: Roman Catholic App

You MUST give a name, date of birth and make a password....I am deleting this app. I have another confession app on my other tablet and it asks for nothing and your sins are blotted out when you turn off the tablet. This is too invasive for me. Glad confession at church isn't like this!

I forgot my password, but there seems to be no way to reset it, nor is there any info on the app to contact anybody for help. I was then able to create a second user with the same name, birthdate, etc., as the first, which is just not good securuty. Otherwise, I really like the examination of conscience function.

Installed app on previous LG phone and was fine. Transfered to a new phone (Samsung Galaxy j7) and it will not work. Very disappointed in the app. Sorry for the purchase.

I've emailed the developer three times to enlarge the box that indicates the number of times a sin is committed but I can't use this app to aid me during confession. Seems the developer is ignoring user comments. Why go through the trouble of developing an app and provide no support or respond. Can't rate less than 1. Anyone else having similar problems? UPDATE: Found another app that is similar to this app plus the counter can be updated and read. I no longer have need of this app. BYE BYE.

I guess it's an interesting concept but the app does not assign you any Penance so your confession experience is not real. Save the two bucks and go to church

At one time it was amazing. And truly only one thing has changed. In the examination of conscience, I click on a question too add an incident, and I cant see the number. I can't see the number of times I've committed each sin. The idea of the app is great. I'm mostly giving this the rating I am because I can get ZERO tech support. I've emailed, tweeted and Facebooked. Nothing. Zero. Very disappointing.

Should have read reviews instead of being impressed with imprimatur. Tried to add sins, as the list (only uses Ten Commandments) is skimpy. Not really possible, if you want it to be counted & listed in the Confession prompt. Needs to use Seven Deadly Sins and Beatitudes also. Waste of money.

Can't see the counter on this app. I'd write a email but from other reviews, they don't answer. So feels like I wasted my money. -Thanks

Too many times I leave the confessional, unsure if all sins remembered Beautiful way to build faith in the Catholic community! I prepare for confession, but when with the priest, the booth is usually not well lit, so difficult to read my notes. This is a time when Father is speaking with vox Christi, I can be 100% honest, and cherish the anticipated state of Grace. Anything that helps with that will be VERY APPRECIATED!

Nice app but it locks up and freezes. I have to go to app and kill it then reopen it.

Needs ability to adds notes/ reminders... Clarifications.

This app helps me make a good examination of conscience not only when I'm preparing for confession but also any time I'm reviewing my conscience.

Cannot see the counter in Galaxy Note Edge

Great app! Truly helps with preparing for the Sacrament of reconciliation.

I had this on my Galaxy S2, and it worked beautifully. I recently upgraded to the S5, and now I can no longer read the numbers next to the sins during the examination of conscience or during the confession guide. The app needs an update to correct the issue.

Very helpful and easy to use. I have one suggestion. The ability to swipe between commandments instead of have to return back to list each time you change. Blessings!

Excellent way to prepare for Confession. Lists are even customizable.

I don't see why a password should be forced. It should be an option. After all, it's not like there are sin details recorded.

Please update this app. I'm happy to have spent money on it but could use some updating.

I used this app on my iPhone and it worked great. Then I purchased it for my Samsung Galaxy S4. You cannot see the counters increment on the examination of conscience. I have written two emails to support and used their contact us form on their web site. Unfortunately, they have not responded. So, I can only conclude that the app is no longer supported on Android. Perhaps this review will help convince the developer to support Android as well as iPhone.

Doesnt show months since last confessipn accurately and usually only works first time u create a user,every other time it says"we will calculate this for u",basically only works 1 time

The app functions well... But the examine feels a bit dated. The app won't explain confession but offers a good walkthrough. Overall it would take the spirit of conversation out of the confessional for me, but could be a good kick start for someone who's not been in a long time :)

This is a great app in helping you examine your conscious, and sins. Great for assistance with confessions. I recommend to Catholics!

This is a great app but it needs more breadth to it. A place to add specific sins and a synopsis of what sins are captured under each commandment

Simple and effective. definitely helps with examination of conscience. It keeps track of time between concessions. Also has a catholic prayer section. It needs the ability to go on the SD card though. PLEASE LET ME MOVE IT TO MY SD CARD! :-)
