Sustainable Seafood Guide for Android
A lot of seafood in stores is labelled with the scientific name. Why not include this in the app?
Sustainable seafood
Would love a canned salmon guide including pink and red salmon (Pacific and Alaskan).
This is a great app that is user friendly. A must if we as consumers want to ensure to health and biodiversity of our oceans.
Half the fish I look up isn't listed so what's the point ?
Just what I needed to make sure the seafood I eat is a sustainable choice.
Some minor difficulties with use but still a great resource.

People searching for sardines and mussels don't know to omit the 's' on the end. They're in there and perhaps should be included in the search parameters because that's the way they're spelled by the majority. I'd like sardine on toast please. Could I have a plate of mussel? I know, I know but perhaps you see what I mean. On my Nexus 9 you can enter a fish, but the search on the keyboard doesn't work. You need to close the keyboard and then press the search on the app. Also the 20% replacing a gap is annoying, you can work around it but far better not to have to. But mainly, thank you very much for bringing this to Android and making it so much easier.
Quick easy convenient reference
The search function doesn't work!
Super convenient reference to use anywhere.
Great way to help make a more informed decision when buying fresh fish.. highly recommend this app.
Good app. Hopefully consumers will use it to guide their purchases toward seafood sustainability. Can image be rotated from portrait to landscape? Samsung Galaxy Tab II
Pretty good. Will use a lot in the future. Does not have sardines, though, but I am sure they will add to the list over time.
Some common seafood missed like NZ mussels.
Didn't work properly. Tried to find out sustainable info on a fish & nothing happens..?

Products on here that are listed as sustainable by MSC are listed as a no in this app.. its made up by some green with an agenda and serves no useful purpose.
Great idea, but the search, which is on the entry page, doesn't work with fish names that include a space. It replaces the space with %20 which isn't recognized by the database. I would have thought that this was basic functionality that would show up in basic quality control? When I re-replace the %20 with a space, the item is located. Then it works well and I can see that the app has potential!
Had some issues with the search section but am slowly getting g to know what to buy and what to leave In the shop. Good idea
Doesn't download

Good to see this app come to android. I have been using the website for a while now. I would love to see 'suggested alternatives' added to the seafood that is not recommended, to help people who want similar seafood for recipes.
I love this app. Its a fantastic idea and will be used at every shopping opportunity. Good thinking!
I'll be using it every time I shop!
Thanks for making this awesome app
So useful to have this as an app now!

Who knew Hake and Hoki are such a worry? Just wish the info was more up to date.
