UI lags, flickers at times. Most disappointing thing is that seems one of the example of iOS ported UI. Not expected from something like TechRepublic. The extra star is for the content which is good and which is why I downloaded this.
Exellent source
Very slow loading Splash screen stays ON for way too long sometimes more than 2 minutes on 4g No exit button to exit the app Screen not optimised for mobiles swiping left/right to read the entire line switches to nxt post/topic. In the latest tab each blog/post is displayed 4 times
Been using regularly and liking but now its not working anymore. Force close. Installed, installed, same error.
Lots of crashes. You can't share articles. Pictures, graphs, etc are cropped on the right and when attempt to display the cropped bit, you slide to the next article. I've sent communications regarding this as I'm sure many others have and they're evidently not concerned that their app sucks.

Use this app every day but after the last update it does not work. Takes a very long time to connect then once it does all I get is a blank screen. Hope it gets fixed soon.
Can't share or save articles. Pretty much useless.
App is unresponsive most of the time (tap on the Settings button and then wait for 8-10 seconds). Text is zoomed in (e.g. after following a hyperlink.). When to the list after reading an article, it would be nice to return to the position of the last read entry, instead of returning at the top of the list...
The pics randomly don't display and the articles are poorly displayed/presented.
When you go back from an article to the list, it puts you back at the top, not where you left off. It skips about two weeks or articles after the most current ones. The scrolling is not smooth.
App is Ok.Content is good. Caching would be nice.
got satisfied
Very slow, web version much faster. Ui needs improvement..
Jim, saw your review and it works fine on my nexus works great!
no search option for articles . screen is cluttered with pointers to sister apps that suffer from same design flaw. not a solution finder. maybe I'll come back when i am idle. sorry.
Could use a refresh
I have had this app on my phone since it came out and have really like it's functionality. I just installed it on my tablet and found that it does not work in landscape mode, just portrait. When I am reading news, my device is usually sitting on the table in landscape mode. Typical of CBS.
Let me start off saying that the app itself is great. The main issue I am facing now is that somehow this app is incompatible with my Asus Nexus 7. What is it about this app that makes it "incompatible"? I guess I will have to sideload it from one of my rooted Android devices.
Works great on my HTC Desire, 2.2.
Easy to use and very informative . Worth having on your device.
This is a very useful app. Especially now, in the era of data caps, having a dedicated to access my favorite TechRepublic content helps.
Only sharing options are email and twitter(which uses the web interface) needs to make use of androids intent api's. Other than that great app!
It make my tablet more useful with this app. It would be better, if you put a thubnail on each articles. Cambodia (Angkorwat) MYHOUSE
Good app. Is content different than newsletter ? Apps should allow us to read newsletter and editor's pick.
The app freezes and the view zooms in after I minimize the app and return to it. Even after I reboot the phone and make sure all other apps are closed the issue persists. I use a Galaxy s4.
Very informatic app. I m loving it
For the same subject in latest and popular.

Works well. Brings everything up.. One issue is it is not very optimized for tablet formats, especially in landscape mode.
Like other users I kept getting the message unfortunately techrepublic has stopped but after clicking ok the app would load to my default screen. However the content would not update. Your website however does have new content. So I uninstalled and re installed the app and it now works. Having said that love techrepublic.
The app appears, overall, to be well thought out and the articles are laid out nicely on my 7" tablet. But.. ..in both the 'Latest' & 'Popular' tabs, each of the article headers is displayed at least twice, but usually four times. Not sure why, and it does not appear to affect anything else. But it is.. ..annoying.
Took me right back to my 8-bit days!
Good content...the back button makes me to scroll all the content that I have read already..it doesn't remember the last position..thus is annoying!
Why won't the app show images??
App is now displaying duplicate entries.
No longer works...

I truly appreciate this app, there are a lot of items I wished that I could save for viewing later, this would even help folks who wished to keep a page from a sale, they couldn't save before.
