User Agent for Google Chrome

I've even added win7 64bit desktop useragent string. I'm able to work with forums and submit a regular desktop link without mobile source link like m.www etc. Thanks a bunch! btw, I'm rooted and think ppl not rooted and or running N, are adding bad reviews. App works wonders. MXPE, 6.0 MM.

Awesome App! Change my user agent from what websites believe and behave! One very minor issue, it doesn't completely restore original user agent? (Used AdAway before, so who's to blame?) Yet, I'm very happy of any modding app against Google's intrusions! Next, we need to hide our Wi-Fii IP from Google! That alone pinpoints our location!

It would be extremely handy if they tricked the browser to think that the ios is 7 or higher because now when you visit a site whit the "iPhone mode on" most of the times you will run into this problem

Doesn't work on 7.1.1,but I edit the file named chrome command line manually,it have no effect too.

This used to work flawlessly, until Android 7. Not giving up hope since I imagine it's just a question of updating the app.

Tip for developer: To prevent massive one stars, put (root) suffix also to the end of App Name too.

Crashed first time I opened it, finally got it open and set up and it doesn't change your user agent. Pure garbage. . .

I was hoping it would give me some control over the Chrome browser. Aside from being able to change between light and dark themes there is absolutely nothing this app does to give you any more control over chrome then your normal settings.

Have root, still fails

Chrome for Android kept reporting as mobile even when running on a notebook with a decent sized screen. This app fixes that. I want Chrome as my primary browser under various environments so some settings follow me around. But it was really annoying to keep getting mobile pages on this notebook. I was using a second browser for some sites that is about to get uninstalled.

So I guess it doesn't do anything unless you are rooted. Didn't see this notice til I messed around in settings to figure out why it wouldn't work. I edited my review because it is actually mentioned when you click READ MORE in the play store, I just didn't do that. Editing the description might save a lot of people some time.

Proper review this user string actually works without it i can't view no live cams for xhamster & cam4 & much more when i use the iPhone agent the live cams work's on every website. As if I'm into viewing that. All video's work also with iphone agent witch is amazing. Also you can make random agent strings witch is supercool. nice work.

If you also upgrade Android and the app stops working, check to see if you lost root.

ANOTHER USEFUL APP TO HAVE THAT WORKS ON GOOGLE

Thanks to this I can access all those web tools tools that insist on crippling (or outright removing) functionality when they detect a mobile browser, in favor of their mobile apps. This works flawlessly.

Installed.. ran.. Requested SU access..Granted.. selected Chrome Desktop.. Chrome launched..device still reports mobile device. Sorry does not work reliably

Not only does it not change you user agent, it can not even remember which user agent you selected. Total nonsense and a waste of time.

It is deep shame that I am using Chrome. The least I can do is to change UA of Chrome to Firefox. This app makes the job done.
