LinkedIn Pulse

I was looking for a good app that can aggruegate good editorial and factual articles from best of sources at one place for me. Pulse does exactly that. Moreover, the app is nicely built, hardly ever crashed, and contains up to date articles. Must have for frequent readers. I request to add magazines genre instead of a few names... like automobiles, technology, economics, engineering, arts .. etc. That would be more helpful.

Bring back the old news reader please before LinkedIn got involved. It's a tsunami of bore and over presumptive curated articles akin to seeing an ill-fated friend that was so full of life and eclectic in a vegetative state with a feeding tubes and diapers.

I've always being fond of LinkedIn Pulse when I use it on my laptop. And now, to use it on the go is just icing on the cake. It's enriched links to thousands and millions of editorial articles/ latest news on every domain is quite refreshing and helps you stay on top of things. Keep it up!!

This "are you a robot?" check is ridiculous. I've wasted my time on numerous occasions trying to sign back into the app and over and over it asks me to "select all pictures with a sign post" and it never ends. I'm throwing in the towel for now and finding a new app. Hope this gets fixed. Bring back the old version!!

Used in the past and was my favorite news app with widgets. Sucks now, can't choose the news you want and no widgets. Not to mention when I signed up on LinkedIn it wouldn't let me use a secure password I use for "security reasons" I had to use a much simpler and therefore less secure password. I am uninstalling it now.

The original Pulse app used to be my favorite app for keeping up with the news of my favorite categories. Its grid layout was great and had a lot to offer. It's been crap ever since LinkedIn stepped in though.. not using it anymore.

Although I do enjoy the app, I am extremely disappointed that it is nothing but American news. It would be great if this app had a region selector so that myself and others could filter the news that is more pertinent towards either Australia, Asia-Pacific, Europe and so forth.

Pulse aggregates industry-specific news and makes it easy to share and discuss this in your professional network. It is also a powerful publishing platform for reaching your industry. (The publishing application is not its best feature yet, but this is not included in the mobile app.)

I used the legacy version daily. It was the first app I installed on all new mobile devices. The new interface is confusing and clunky. There isn't even a dark mode. I gave it about 3 to 4 weeks then stopped using it. The old interface is far superior. The negative user reviews pretty much tell the story. I will continue to use the legacy version until it stops updating. Then I will no longer be a Pulse user. It's very sad to see LinkedIn step in and ruin a great app with a loyal following.

Like most of the users here, I started using Pulse about 4 years ago and loved it. It's my go to app first thing in the morning. Once LinkedIn took over and changed the interface, it ruin the user experience completely. Guess they don't even care about the once popular RSS feeder anymore nor they listen to the users. I like to find to who created the app and sold it to LinkedIn. Good for you laugh all the way to the bank and shame on you ditched all the supporters who help you there.

Pulse is simple but filled with all the articles I asked for. Zero complaints. I really couldnt guess why there is a single 1-atar review...

Used to be very useful and allowed me to see ALL the latest news in my chosen categories. Now, it is nothing but a piece of crap. Whoever decided to make this change is worse than an idiot...

This stupid apps asks me to sign in everytime i enter... its a news panel for Gods sake. I uninstalled. Twitter is way better anyway

Love most of the articles. Some are lacking in depth, though, and feed often runs short in favor of ads to link to feeds I am not sure I care about.

I have been using pulse for about 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it! It's easy to save the articles you want and it comes in handy when wanting to conduct small talk as you are well informed about current events in your field and in fields that interest you.

You destroyed the best news app. If I want an App like this, I'll get Flipboard. Good riddance you LinkedIn monkeys!

Used to be my favorite news aggregator, liked it better than flipboard... but now requires sign in with LinkedIn. I had hoped they'd lift that restriction, but nope. I think this is my last try... time to dig in and configure Flipboard or find another...

Crashing Relentlessly On Every Platform Equipment - Shuts Down Every 5 Sec's I open the app, & it say's Unfortunately The App has Stopped. It's been happening for more than a week. I am also upset coz I cannot post on Pulse.

Pulse actually highlights the real driving forces behind the world we live in which are predominantly economic. Very little fluff or political content.

But Linkedin destroyed completely somehow. I can't understand who could think that was a good idea.

I loved loved loved the old version with the category view. I used it every day a few times a day. Now? Might as well be Flipboard but not as interesting to me

Used to be a great news app before Linkedin acquired it. The new interface is horrible, and the customizability is gone.

After 10 news feeds it only shows a spinner.

Love the app before it was bought and totally overhauled by LinkedIn. Still gave it a try but doesn't cut it.

The app always freezes. Most of the time I can't even use it without it malfunctioning and turning off.

This app been teaching me all the things I need to know. With this app I could be able to study reading and writing. Now I have three certificates, a product and a company. Keep on the good job guys.

It gives me enuf to know if I want to read a certain post , and all the posts are well written and the app does a very good job

Huffington Post? Business Insider? How about BBC, Financial Times, Washington Post you know CREDIBLE NON BIASED NEWS???

Quit working after last update and after contacting about problem, no one responded

I enjoy reviewing the daily topics of interest selected for me...some are right on track with my business, others provide me with a broader knowledge base. Thank you!

Use the Google News and Weather instead. This is a Flipboard copycat.

All the things that made it great are gone now.

Option for old UI new one is trash.

There are times in the day when its important to sit back, relax, and enjoy the mind space. Then, catchup with some other great thoughts from across the spectrum from some interesting people on Linkin's Pulse.

I love reading news, but this app is very different with a very interesting approach to news main stream...

New UI sucks. Please bring back the legacy option.

Feedmesh is my new go to news app. I wish that I could rate Pulse lower than a 1 star. Linkedin has ruined what was a great news app. Feedmesh is the answer to those wanting the okd Pulse.
