What are users saying about LinkedIn Students

Z70%
by Z####:

The app makes the same suggestions over and over. There's no way to indicate that you will never choose a particular job. I'm also disappointed in its suggestions. I have 2 Bachelors degrees and a Masters and it keeps suggesting Administrative assistant...

Y70%
by Y####:

Here on LinkedIn student, possible careers and interests are posted for you to take a look at.. The information is really nice to have in one place. The stress of finding out what to do with my degree has suddenly disappeared.

Y70%
by Y####:

Kind of useless for grad students. Doesn't introduce you to job titles you wouldn't have already known. It only suggested 5 different job titles even though I have an MBA, a Masters in Public Health, and a Bachelors in Psych. Wait for version 2.0

Y70%
by Y####:

I really liked it at first but now I keep getting the same roles suggested to me that I do not want and there is no way to say I don't want to see this role anymore. Wastes my time to see same thing I don't want multiple times.

Z70%
by Z####:

I don't get what I'm supposed to gain from the application. I've had it for less than a week and it's already repeatong itself and offering jobs that are outsode my scope. Total waste of time.

F70%
by F####:

As an undergraduate trying to get into the industry of my study, finding places that will employ an undergraduate is difficult and having that filter may help with my job search efforts

Y70%
by Y####:

This seems like a good app bit since I opened it and like the first thing they asked me was to review it I'm not sure yet. Until then, five stars

X70%
by X####:

There is a variety of job fields I never thought to consider with my major! Using this app makes your search more specialized since LinkedIn can search for openings with or without your major involved. Check it out! (Update: had to uninstall for lack of space but would definitely still recommend!)

Y70%
by Y####:

Utterly useless. Most recommendations are unrelated and content is too sparse to be accommodated in a separate app. It can just be integrated with the main job search app.

F70%
by F####:

Keeping tabs on what you wish to work and how to find jobs related to your interest is much easier now through this app. Interesting part thst it gives extra information related to the things a person is looking for.

Y70%
by Y####:

Very informative. Not really a place to find a start to a career though. Getting into those big companies is unrealistic unless you already are well off or very connected insider.

N70%
by N####:

The app won't let me pass the graduation date page. I emailed the developer for about a couple week but nothing has changed...

Y70%
by Y####:

It helps you if you are still unsure as to where to begin working based on your skill. Gives you a Job Role that has to do with your skills and put you on track as to where look out next.

J70%
by J####:

Works smoothly. The cool thing is that it shows you wear other people with your degree/major are working, which gives you hope if you thought you were pigeonholed!

We used this application to help launch Kiwanis back in 1999 my husband and I were the secretary and the president of our local Club it has come a long way in 17 years project inter Club is Alive and Well if you are interested in becoming a kiwanian please let us know follow six objects on Twitter

Very clean design, can't complain about a functional app! Love the swiping feature. Text is very easy to read. Only had it for a day so far but I already really like all the content it's provided.

Y70%
by Y####:

The only problem I have is when trying add a second major it kicks my back to the start up screen. other than that? I love it.

Y70%
by Y####:

Pretty cool the first few days then just repopulates the same thing few things each time you swipe. Renders itself useless.

U70%
by U####:

Easy to use for businesses and organizations. Helps a lot to understand what your thoughts and worries about looking for internship or a job. Very convenient for all students!

Y70%
by Y####:

I really think the app is fun and easy to use and the Career paths that it chooses for me is something that i am interested in alot i do kinda wish i knew how to connect with other people on the app that i may know or that are around my age but maybe you cant (i just got the app 4 hours ago)

Y70%
by Y####:

Either the "look" of the main screen makes it look like there's more than just ideas, it took some navigation to figure out how to move beyond ideas.

Z70%
by Z####:

Great way to get job suggestions for jobs i may qualify for. These are suggestions from people who are alumni like myself and things they arr doing.

P70%
by P####:

The app is very poor and needs alot of improvement, I didn't get any benefit using it.

Y70%
by Y####:

When I view people's profile on this app it lags quite a lot in comparison to the LinkedIn app

Y70%
by Y####:

Helps us find careers, which is a stressful thing to think about, but the app makes it so easy!

Y70%
by Y####:

Helpful app. But I don't understand why I need to install three different apps from LinkedIn for my job search.

T70%
by T####:

The app is a great idea but hard to link up to my LinkedIn profile and I keep getting job offers that are not relevant to my career path.

O70%
by O####:

I retired from the military and the app suggested the military as a new job, disappointed.

I70%
by I####:

Have not had the chance to see it really work. It so far it looks good, especially if it links up with the other LinkedIn apps

Y70%
by Y####:

It seems well put together, but not amazing enough yet to deserve 5 stars.

Y70%
by Y####:

The UX is simple and free of course. However, it may be oversimplified.

Q70%
by Q####:

Where have you been all my life, I'm graduating soon and I wish I knew about it before. This app gives the insight I dearly needed. It's extremely easy to use and it gives you tips on how to make yourself more marketable.

Y70%
by Y####:

3 starts in my first contact with the app. It does everything I need, an online portfolio for my university work, and a link between careers, companies, roles and internship opportunities. I will award the next 2 starts after try the service and the app.

N70%
by N####:

The app has a lot of bugs. Hard to close it + could not find out anything based on provided information. Waste of time.

A70%
by A####:

Would love to see a section that explains why I am getting specific job recommendations. Also, what additional requirements I would need to fulfill. I never know what is necessary be qualified for a job and I feel that it would help to know my options.

Y70%
by Y####:

It's hard to find a correct path and this makes it that much easier

Y70%
by Y####:

The information about positions and career paths, and well as knowledge from suggested readings and pages are a wealth of opportunity that are hard to come by; this apps serves it up to you all in one place.

X70%
by X####:

If you're tired of the boring, super formal career sites, then LinkedIn Students could definitely bail you out!

Y70%
by Y####:

I feel insulted that this app is based around the notion that millenials can only respond to tinder-esque UI design

Y70%
by Y####:

It's a wonderful app and helps me figure out what I can do after my college career. Nice to see other alumni with the same major as myself and where they are working at the moment.
