LinkedIn Lookup- the perfect tool for quickly connecting with coworkers who might otherwise be hard to find, uncovering hidden resources, and improving information sharing.
** To use this app, you need a LinkedIn account. The app is currently only available in English. **
Okay dokey
It's a nice looking app, but I don't feel like it really provides anything above and beyond the LinkedIn app. It seems to want to be the place to look up and contact coworkers, but I don't know of any company that doesn't already have a directory of employees and at least internal email if not other ways to communicate too. I gave this a shot, but I can't figure out where it fits into my daily life.
I really like the clean and simple UI. But each time I use the app, or switch between tabs, the app prompts for login. It's simply too much trouble to use. Uninstalling.
When I put in the code that was emailed to me to verify my work email address, all I get is "Internal Server Error". That makes this app pretty useless to me.
Keeps showing rotating dumb wheel on people's page. Nothing happens when you click any contact. Seems totally waste application.
Internal server error when I entered the code which got in the mail
Hello. Helps to have this app.
Internal error
Poor
It do not implement LinkedIn connected. It's like LinkedIn do not support the use of their own APIs. 2. Takes very long to start the first time after entering email and password although having LinkedIn account set up on my device. 3. Why do I have to verify work email again? overall very bad experience. No point in having LinkedIn account on my device
Doesn't authenticate using the LinkedIn app, I'm already signed into and have open. Says browser unsupported when I manually sign in, then says stopped working. Using chrome beta and native browser on latest version of Android. Shame connected is being decommissioned but particularly before the replacement is running smoothly or at all.
I got trapped in an annoying endless captcha loop. That's a good app if you don't have anything else to do, then you can spend the rest of your day in this captcha joke.
I'm able to login using the LinkedIn app or the Lookup apps. However, after login in, I get a 'browser is not supported' error even though Chrome is my default browser.
The app keeps logging out periodically. Ex employees are also listed here which is useless. Search is not intuitive. If the company-wide profile ranking was added here, that would have been useful. Also, need a "newly joined" and "recently left" employees tabs.
Lists a former employer as my current employer, no option available to change this. Suggests updating my LinkedIn profile but that has the correct company listed so not sure where the error lies. Unusable as a result. Using Samsung Galaxy S6.
Managed to login and successfully searched for skills. However the back button doesn't seem to do much whenever I press it. Seems like a bad port from iOS.
I'm having the same issue as many others: "Browser not supported". Then "Lookup has stopped working". Repeatable issue and unusable app. (Samsung Galaxy S6)
Need support to be logged in with LinkedIn app, and fix "unsupported browser" error.
Of discovering colleagues... I wanted a directory not another search
Attempt 1st time login. Takes me to a page that says unsupported browser. This is within the Lookup app itself, so I expect the browser backend to be under LinkedIn's control. I'm not using anything exotic, Nexus 5 with latest android, so I'd expect LinkedIn would have testing to detect this issue. Hitting back button crashes app. Complete quality failure.
I am biased (...I work at LinkedIn). However this is one of the best internal directories I have used.
No connection to my existing LinkedIn app. Keeps saying I am using an unsupported browser when I attempt to manually log in.
I use LinkedIn a lot, and I wish this app would work but unfortunately keep crashing or display a page stating that the browser is not supported... Can LinkedIn team fix it
Listed my parent company as employer and didn't show any results for actual company... I tried the "Change company" setting with no luck. Very average but nice idea. Better luck next time developers.
My work email reflects where I am placed at not the company I work for. I would like to see my co-workers but this is not possible with this app. Not much thought put into this app.
Asking to re-verify my company email. I already set up and used the app before. Annoying.
It will not accept my work email address, just keeps saying don't enter a personal one!
Bugs, keeps crashing. Even caused my phon to restart! Great app if the bugs are fixed!
It doesn't sync with LinkedIn and says my browser is unsupported. I can log in on the Web so must be an app issue.
Wondering why you don't want me to access my account
I don't have a work email
Cannot figure out how to find employees
I don't have a work email it shouldn't make you enter a work email everyone doesn't have one. That's really disappointing I was actually looking forward to this app but I guess not anymore.
Insane. Would have given 0 stars if it was an option. Can't even damn login to the app. Hire some Quality Engineers or better Software Engineers.
As I am part of company but not having the standard domain of work email due to which I am not able to login.
I don't agree with the work email address. That needs to be taken off. What if you don't have a work email address or are in between jobs?
won' t go pass the login screen. It loads a blue screen and then that's it. Waste of time.
