About NHP Indradhanush-Immunization
NHP Indradhanush facilitates young parents in tracking the immunization of their children. The app takes away pressure of having to remember life critical information amidst juggling work and home for the parents.
The objective of National Health Portal, India is to provide healthcare related information to the citizens of India and to serve as a single point of access for consolidated health information.Women and children have always been a focal audience in its vision.
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) had launched Mission Indradhanush on 25th December 2014 with the aim of expanding immunization coverage to all children across India by year 2020.
Following the same, this mobile app has been developed to cater to parents to help them tracking the immunization of their children.
Features
User can add baby and corresponding details
User can set reminders for each baby on immunization
User can add new immunization in addition to the recommended ones
The application is designed to work on Android phones for now.

Glad to know that National Health Portal's official app exists for Immunisation. But Immunisation is a long-term program (more than 10 years) and life of a smartphone is very less (2 years) in that comparison. So, after installing in the new phone all the previous data has to updated manually. An online backup/restore may help in this. Further, the reminder time is very less and at the minimum, it should be 1 day as compared to presently maximum 1 day.

Why should we always set up language and baby everytime we open the app and some scheduled vaccination is not correct. Resolve these issues immediately, don't play with baby's health

App can be better if you can attach details like where to go or nearest location for vaccine and contact details.

Annoying app. these days anyone can make an app for any thing. not useful. How come all goverment apps are so pathetic. Even school kid can make better app than this one.
