Moonlight Game Streaming

I've been using this app for probably about 3 years now. This still is the best streaming app that you can get on Play Store. It has the best video and audio quality of any streaming app on the Play Store. I saw a comment below that said it won't stream outside of your home network which is completely wrong since I've been streaming games for three years all over the US on my tablet. Others I see say that it either won't connect or has horrible quality. Over the three years of using this app I've had multiple devices multiple computers and multiple routers with no issues from this app. Don't blame the developer because you're not technical enough to set the app up properly. If you're having issues with quality maybe you should look at your own hardware instead of rating this app badly. Thanks developer for making one of my absolutely favorite apps.

Was working pretty awesome up until recently. Playing Civilization VI gets me some random screen flashing if I zoom out too much or there's dialogue on screen or animations with leaders. Worked fine before.

No need for using it I used it on the past was the best streaming app

Wow. For giggles I tried this over a 4G connection through a VPN. Minor stuttering, but otherwise flawless. Wow.

Please update the on-screen (virtual) controller to allow resizing (more than just at the bottom and the right side of screen). Having a reasonably sized virtual control that I can position where I want is really essential to truly "gaming on the go."

Would give 5 stars if the virtual controller wouldn't feel abandoned. Right now scaling buttons works only at the bottom and right side of the screen and positions get reset every time.

Great app

All depends on your isp. If you have spectrum / time warner don't expect it to work at a playable frame rate. Their service quality is so bad you will se dropped frames and false connection information. Immediately after moving and switching to optimum online, i experienced more consistent frame rates and better connection quality. So the app works well only if your isp isn't sleazy.

Amazing. Can't even notice any latency. Only thing that would make it even better would be onscreen WASD controls as an option *EDIT* If possible; consider adding some kind of zoom function.

Keep getting a connection terminated message on my phone over Internet, even after portforwarding. Phone is a Galaxy S6 running 6.0.1. My PC has a GTX 870m in it. Edit: Gave an extra star because it works beautifully over my home network on my Gear VR!!

Best Game streaming app on the market. I've tried several but non come close in terms of quality and performance. I'll reserve one star for now because there's no L3 and R3 buttons on the built in virtual controller. Hope it gets fixed and it's five stars from me

I want it to connect through a certain port but it appears this application doesn't support a number at the end of its IP such as xx.xxx.xx.xxx:47989

3-4 ms more latency in 5.0.2 than the previous version. Still an amazing app. Going to wait for another update before leaving 5.0.1

don't try it on Windows 8.1 i had problems trying to make it work and i did not simply use Windows 10 works perfectly

Used to work great and never have a problem. But now it never connects.Java installed / All firewalls down/ Port forward and never nothing

if it can used by a lower level wifi device,I will have a better experience.

you can watch stream from your pc only if your device connected to the same internet/router.useless app.what it the point to control your pc at home?wanted to use this app to control my pc from work with 60fps and better quality than teamviewer

Moonlight is excellent for playing games that are supported via Nvidia streaming. Playing with my Galaxy S8+ and a Moga controller, it's good fun playing DOOM while just chilling on the couch instead of being in front of my computer. Samsung DeX was recently supported and works great for a majority of games. There still appears to be a hiccup or two (MGSV:TPP just gives a black screen while using DeX, but plays normally when undocked), but otherwise an excellent free app to play a large majority of your Steam library from your mobile device while on Wi-Fi.

Amazing job! Works 100% with my ipega joystick. Playing NieR Automata even in the bathroom.

But there's this horrible problem. About 20 odd seconds into streaming, my phone displays a blue screen and i have to hard reset my phone. EDIT: Only crashes when using 60FPS.
