∞ Lima

A decent device with a problematic app. I will be able to open the app a couple times after installing. After that the app crashes and I have to uninstall and reinstall again with all the waiting that goes with it. I am using a Galaxy S7. The windows desktop app seems to work reasonably well, but I cannot get the phone app to work stably.

Uninstalling then really installing fixed it so it starts and works pretty good, whenever I get a text or notification the volume on the app auto turns down the maximum volume about 20% less than max and never gets any louder unless I restart it...

This product and app sucks!! Don't waste your money. I could never get bit to work and customer service is practically non existent

No longer works in my mobile phone after 1 month. I tried contacting 5 day assistance and they will not answer me anymore. I want my money back. Do not buy this product!

Problem working with LG V20 keep crashing. But working normally with Samsung TabS2... But most of the time I need to access with LG V20 unfortunately it keep crashing.... So Lima is just a white elephant eating electricity and bandwidth for nothing.... Really disappointed to the Max!!!!!!!!!!

I got the ultra and it works great. I got it running in less than 15 minutes. Now i don't have to think about it, it just works. Backing up my photos on my phone has never been this easy. Even big files upload quickly.

I don't understand the negative reviews. Since buying and installing my Lima Ultra, it has just worked exactly as the guys at Lima Technology said it would. I have been using Sugarsync for over five years to keep my work files synchronised across my multiple computers and tablets. It is slow and has its issues but has served my business until now. Now I have Lima, all my files are on my own Cloud server - not someone else's. But the real difference is that I can work on any files in any software program or application straight off the Lima drive. i don't have to download the file on to my computer's hard drive to work on it and then upload it again when I have finished working. The file just stays on the Lima drive and operates in the RAM of my computer. Every time I do a save or my AutoCAD programme does and autosave, it is updating the Lima drive with the latest version of that file - because it never left the Lima drive. I love it and would recommend it to anyone.

Great start but still some more to go. The only issue I have with it is that it's only active while the app is open. If I have files to upload I need to open the app, go to the upload menu and keep the app open (preventing phone going to sleep from inactivity and/or not switching to any other apps) for it to actually do the upload. This is an app that should run in the background and perform those tasks automatically based on the settings (wifi only, etc...)

Lima is a great way to store your files, with easy access, in your home. Some free cloud based services may have more to offer but with Lima you control who has access to your files.

Bought both hardware products and loving them. Weird thing about negative reviews, probably competition. Gave up my Dropbox and use Lima daily.

Don't know what's behind all the negative reviews... Got the Lima Ultra and setup was painless. So far I haven't run into any problems. Just don't expect to see a SMB compatible volume.

I bought this with so much to expect, major let down after getting it.when trying to access it offsite om my laptop, it constantly says it is down , no connection or I just have no access to it. Unless theres a major improvement in the way it works and its reliability , I wud say better stay OFF IT !

The most annoying product I have ever bought. Not only doesn't it do what it should. It annoys me with constant reminders for nothing. On top of that they have launched a new product, when the old one is not even working. Read the reviews on Amazon. NEVER BUY THIS! Too bad, because the idea was great.

Latest 1.3 update has broken more features. Video playback is super slow and nursery even on a fast 4G connection. Previous picture loading issue, taking 15 seconds to load an image still there IF the image loads at all. Just useless. Nothing seems to get fixed and the 'troubleshooting' team are no help at all. Does what it says. Love it. I can't I understand why all the complaints, it worked first time on two phones (Moto G and S5) and a laptop......and just keeps working.

..for this crowd funded product! I use this with the Ultra and it is faster than I expected considering the critique. Missing feature is a "select all" to (un)pin all files or folders, which cost them a star.

I agree with most. This is a piece of crap and a scam in two ways. One it does not work and second I barely had this one a couple months and they launched a new one which I paid for and had never arrived. Why would they not give us the new one free seeing that the first one was crap. I would St at away from this product. Also customer service sucks. Keep asking for my product which I paid for and they say look at post office and have not refunded my money. Scam and crap product.

been having so much issues with Lima. I cant even get my synced files from my desktop to my phone. ive reinstalled manytimes but my files are not syncing. nothing is showing up on my Lima app!

Will not sync photos. Some will, most won't. Support is average at best. Had the unit replaced. EXACT same problem. Do not buy

Eats battery and doesn't upload anything. Now I can't even see what's on my Lima connected HD. Whether on wifi or my cell network.

emailed you twice to ask you a specific question about the product and never got a replay. Then you send me a customer service questionnaire on how you reply service was. Are you kidding me .STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. TOTAL CRAP

It's a scam, the app opens only first time. Waste of time and money.

Latest update will not even open. It crashes as soon as I try to open it on my Android phone. I've been disappointed with Lima since installing it. For some unknown reason, I went ahead and ordered the newer version of the device. Hopefully, it will not cause as much frustration, but I have always been a slow learner

Frequently the application reports that Lima has stopped. Resetting is also not an option from remote location. The support is dependant on application software update, sometime a long wait for it to be available and useable and then a new bug. The advertisement does not support the applicability of the Lima hardware. Waste of money, time and effort.

I loved it, now I can't even use it. The last update ruined everything... And before you tell me to send you a message via your website, trust me, I've tried, maybe something else y'all can work on. Fix it!

Can't deliver the promise of what sounds good on marketing. After trying for 2 months and contacting support, never got files sync working properly from both phone and PC. File access performance is poor. Chromecast feature is a joke at such performance level. Giving up!!!

While the initial upload was okay, mobile app and sometimes desktop app crashes. You have a promising product, make it successful before releasing another product

trouble starting app once update to latest andtoid

I bought Lima when it first came out. The concept of your own personal cloud computing made easy...who wouldn't want that? But update after update the thing doesn't even work anymore. Not on my cellphone, not even on my laptop. NOTHING WORKS ANYMORE!!! I'm trying to be patient as I understand this is still relatively new. But let this continue and I'm gonna demand my money back for that useless Lima device

I have spent so much time on this LIMA without even a hope of success. It is slow .... you cannot upload a folder .... it keeps the files on my phone ..... I have the same issue on my PC. .... So many things are bad about this product.This is a great idea gone terribly bad. Do not waste your time and money .....

Lima software often trashes some of my synced files when the windows software on one of my PCs updates. Lima tech support really tries, but they can't figure out what is going on. At least my Androids worked fine with Lima until this version. Now one device won't connect at all. Maybe they'll get things to work right, but there is clearly more work to be done.
